Auto Body Detail Service ADS Mobile

I went to ADS today using a groupon and was quite impressed with the outcome of their service. Although they will talk you into getting more services done, which in my case was highly needed, it was well worth it. They pride themselves in the quality of work they perform, going through every little detail and making sure you are in the know of what needs the most attention. It was a little on the pricey side for my pocket, but like I said, it was money worth spending. It felt like I was driving off the lot with a brand new car. I’ve taken my car to other places and not all places will take the time to inspect your car and give you options on what/​how to clean your car. Overall, I’m glad I brought my car here and would definitely recommend ADS if you want quality work done on your car.

It’s very difficult to get a quality product w/​great service at a fantastic price but this is what ADS delivers. I inherited my dad’s car after his death and the truth is as an incorrigible cheapskate I’ve never had a decent vehicle in my life.
As for my dad’s car there were some serious stains on the door where is arm had rested for over 200K miles as well as stains on the leather seats, dash and E-​brake handle. On the back trunk some sap from a tree left a mark and there were scratches from where an attempt was made to get rid of all that resin.
Phil was my guy and by nothing short of a miracle he got the back trunk looking like new again. The doors, dash and seats haven’t looked this good since the car was new. With these newer materials they use on the interior and dash it’s really nice to have professional service because I absolutely would have made the problem much worse had I attempted to clean the car on my own.
Phil was extremely kind and the service was second to none as well as an outrageous bargain. The beauty of this is my dad’s car looks great and instead of selling it I’m happy to drive it around and every time I start it I think of him.

I don’t know the first thing about cars, especially how to take good care of them. I found ADS through Unilocal and saw that it was relatively close to my neighbor so I called Mario to ask for help. He was really nice on the phone and explained exactly what I needed to get done (claybar, wax & wash). Within 1 hour, I was able to drop off my car at his shop.
Mario took a look at my car & saw that it was pretty bad. I park outside a lot & there is a ton of tree sap on the exterior. My Lexus is also white, which makes it really noticeable. He told me that he would take care of it & he sure did. After about 4 hours, I came back to the shop with a brand-​new looking car. The paint was smooth and shiny.

Great service. The quality of the interior detailing was good. Was surprised when I got there about time to clean as over the phone they quoted much shorter. They missed the compartments under the second row seats. When I mentioned it, they cleaned them right away. Their waiting lounge was comfortable with snacks and coffee as well as wifi. Was able to knock out a lot of work while waiting. Recommend anyone take their car here for interior detailing and take advantage of the Groupon.

Great service! Phil worked on my car when I brought it in and he definitely knew what he was doing. Friendly service and great price. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get some body work done.

I was looking around places to get my car cleaned. Since I have an SUV, It will take me days to clean my car and I would be extremely tired lol. So I came across this place on groupon and decided to buy the deal. I didn’t care how much the cost will be because I wanted my car to be squeaky cleaned. This place is very hard to find. Its like a hidden gem lol. But anyways Mario, the CEO, helped my car to be back alive! My car is clean inside and out and I am taking good care of it now. I even bought some weatherproof mats from Mario. Thank you to everyone who made my car be alive again :) I will definitely come back here again if i need something else with my car. I would advise everyone to read the information on groupon and if there is any extra fee to get your car clean just do it! I guarantee that you won’t regret it. :)

I had a terrible experience with the owner of ADS. He does not treat his customers with respect and quickly got agitated when I asked about the potential for a reschedule and was then unable to communicate in a calm manner. There are ways to deliver bad news to a customer; showing signs of empathy and understanding for the situation. The owner showed none of those, was domineering, spoke over me and was miserable to work with. I will never bring business to ADS.

This place is definitely not a bad option for auto detailing but I would shop around a bit before settling on this one. I give 3 stars because the quality of the work was better than expected and there was even a shiny groupon deal to go along with it – something I highly suggest looking into! 2 stars off because of the customer service. The workers there, including the one that handled my car, were not very welcoming, even when I looked lost and surprised to have found the place. It is also practically impossible to schedule an appointment and I had to call about 10 times for 2 days in a row in order to get a hold of someone. After I scheduled my appointment, they told me that if I wanted to cancel I would have to let them know immediately or else no-​shows get their groupon discounts voided. I was alright with that. until I realized the next day that I needed to cancel my appointment and COULD NOT GET A HOLD OF THEM. So I had to completely turn around my schedule in order to fit them in simply because no one would pick up the phone…

Fraud…
Asked for $ 10 more because the carpet had some dirt and needed to be vacuumed several times, allo, your job is car cleaning, asking for car to be perfectly clean to reap money from customers is a fraud… Also said he was not sure if could clean the rain dirt… maybe you need to buy karcher? And if you need better vacuums, just buy them before doing this business. You’re just wasting people’s time.
Left when heard that $ 10 additional request… if you sell groupon, don’t try to reap customers when they show up.

I’m going with a 3.5 stars for car detailing. They did a good job, but I will likely try other places before bringing it back here.
I did a bunch of research on available groupons for car detailing (there were 5 – 6 packages in SF) and I called them before buying to make sure I’d get an appointment and mentioned that the car was coming back from burning man but did get hosed and wiped down already.
— The entrance is on Elmira and you won’t see that street from 211 Industrial (instead try mapping yourself to address 2 Elmira). I got super lost along Alemany and Bayshore; This was frustrating, but not their fault.
+ They were forgiving that I was 10 minutes late from circling around.
— I show up and the first thing they tell me is that they’ll have to charge extra ’cause the car is a crossover and it went to burning man. It was communicated professionally, but annoying since I had called to make sure before making the appt! I wish I had asked who I spoke to, because we couldn’t ID the person and I am absolutely sure I mentioned it was extra dusty from BM.
+ In the end, we worked it out and they were very nice about it. I decided to stay and use the groupon (all the time to go home, return the purchase, book another appt wouldn’t have been worth it anyhow).
+ They have a relaxed waiting room with couches, snacks, coffee and wifi; Time flew by quickly.
+ This shop seems professional and honest.
— They did say that I’d likely need more work than the groupon would offer since it didn’t include carpet shampoo, but there were other missed tiny details (food crumb in console, sun visor had stains that should have come out; nothing to do w BM), etc.
I tipped the older guy (tho, I don’t think he split it with his homie). The dust in the carpet I understand that I need to get a full shampooing done, so doesn’t relate to the rating. He tackled some of the little things I pointed out, but there were too many to fix them all. It’s all the little corners and details that still had dirt and stains. In the end I’m glad they upheld the groupon, but I will try another spot first and really want to get the small crevices cleaned of dirt.
FWIW, they have a new groupon up that includes a few extras (carpet shampoo!), so maybe they’re learning from these experiences as well.

Showed up at 9:30 this morning and was greeted by Mario, who got me started almost immediately. I bought the Groupon deal for $ 79 interior/​exterior detail and after reading both positive and negative reviews, I decided to give it a go. To my pleasant surprise, they did a great job; the machine polish got rid of most of my clear coat scratches and overall, my car looked shiny as hell and pretty damn good. Minus one star because the car still had a bit of wax here and there, not a big deal though! They also didn’t go over anything after the detailing, which I think people who go to auto shops like (especially those who don’t know much about car care, etc). All-​in-​all a great experience, will definitely be coming back here!

So it’s no surprise that I’m a woman and I don’t know a lot about cars, so I asked around where I could go to detail my car. So a lot of people I asked mentioned ADS. I’ve never heard of this place, because clearly I’ve only washed my car since I bought it. oops lol. Well my car was due to get the works and look pretty. So I looked on Unilocal and found this place, and all the Unilocal reviews left me feeling confident.
To keep my review honest. In the beginning I was left feeling really frustrated and upset because I couldn’t find this place. And then I was getting upset because their was no one here to give me a quote. Yes I was upset but for all the good things I have heard, I didn’t want to lose hope. Their was a miscommunication and the lady that answers the number for their business didn’t have a clue how to give me directions.
Just as a side note. This place is located at 211 industrial st. But to be specific they are on the side of Elmira St. If you see a huge garage door opening and 211A door with a red trim around it. You found ADS! I wish they had a big sign that said Auto Body Detail Service ADS Mobile, for customers like me that have difficulty finding the place Lol :) That’s just my opinion. Anyways, this facility is really nice!!! They have a comfortable waiting area for customers. But this place is appointments only.
Anyways back to my story, Angelo heard of my frustration, and personally called me. He asked me when would be a good day for me to come in, time, and he would personally be there to help me. After speaking to him I knew their was a genuine care and I was in good hands. This is the kind of relationship I like to have with any business.
So I showed up the next day, and Angelo was there to help me. He apologized for the trouble I had the other day, and assured me I was in good hands.
And BOOM!!! I’m so happy with the of customer service here!!! He is super nice & friendly! Genuine Care! Answers all my questions! He treated me like family. Oh, and I have to mention that I love Angelo warm personality and great smile!
All in all I’m so happy I did my business here at ADS! I just love how I was cared for… And before I rave too much on the customer service, and forget to say how the car turned out. Well, My car looks AMAZING!!! JUST GORGEOUS!!! it looks brand new and pretty!
Please don’t do you’re business anywhere else!!! Come here to ADS! You won’t regret it! You will be in good hands and treated superb! Oh. and your car will look AWESOME!!!

They were able to clean some interior stains I didn’t think would come out. Great waiting room.
I was very late due to getting lost but they were very nice and still did full job.

Waiting over a month for a part for my car and had to check back on five or six occasions before I stopped receiving correspondence from the mechanic completely.
This was a waste of time and poor service.
Doubtful the part was ordered but I will go to a different shop. The customer service is too hands off for me to justify bringing a vehicle into these people.
Update: only after saying I would go to another shop did I receive an update. My recommendation would be for the owners to accept responsibility versus trying to act like they did everything they could. MOST shops give out free estimates AND give their customers updates. This is not a special service.

I bought this Groupon deal and went in for a detail. But the result was very disappointing.
After two hours of waiting, when I saw my car, I felt like the car just got a wash inside and out, not a «thorough wash». The stain on the car is still there even though it was mentioned on the Groupon that hand wax was included. When we asked them why the stain was still there, the answer was «you’ll have to pay extra to remove that». I mean, «really?» why don’t you tell me before taking in my car? I would have paid for «the extra» if you had told me earlier beforehand and given me the option. Now you are telling me to come back again and receive a discount. I don’t think I will do that.

AMAZING AMAZING level of customer service! My car is over 10years old… after ADS team got through with it, my baby came out looking brand spankin’ new. They were able to take off scratches, defog my headlights, and conditioned my leather. Mario always made sure that we go over everything in detail and answer any questions I may have. Thank you guys ;)

Bought Groupon then had to pay $ 15 more for SUV so it came to $ 94 for «interior/​exterior» package: which was primarily exterior because the interior did not receive much elbow grease even though I emptied the car of ALL contents. There were still waxy places on the exterior and my headlights are gunked up with wax in the crevices. I do not recommend this place.
Maybe if the person named Phil mentioned in so many of the reviews were around my car would have received more TLC but I got the feeling that the person I dealt with didn’t really feel a Groupon was worth much of the business’s time … in any case my car did not get cleaned well.

This started as a car lover’s nightmare, but reached a satisfactory conclusion.
I brought them my lovely blue Volvo C30 for a routine cleaning and detailing. Mario, the manager, was friendly but immediately tried to up-​sell a costlier service than what was included in my Amazon Local deal.
Something about the business’s alternate name — a used car dealership called Trustworthy Motors — made me nervous, so I took some pictures of my car before I handed the car over. When I got the car back, there was a patch of paint missing from the front bumper valance!
At first, Mario claimed that the damage was there already, but I had the photos to prove otherwise. He then offered to fix it at his body shop, after getting an outside quote I decided to take him up on the offer. He had the car back to me in two days with the damaged part of the bumper valance nicely painted.
Mario was true to his word and fixed the damage. I appreciate that ultimately accepted responsibility for the problem and corrected it. I understand that mistakes happen and I feel like he did a good job of addressing it, but it would have been better if he had acknowledged responsibility for the problem earlier on without me having to bust out photos.
Altogether, ADS Mobile did a good job on the detail, but it was more hassle and argument than I would have liked.

These guys know what they’re doing! Staff is friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. Found out they also do wash/​wax for just $ 25. Forget Touchless where you’re just another car in the assembly line. Bringing my baby here from now on. Thanks guys. my car looks brand spanking new!
