Bayview Plaza Shopping Center

This plaza needs a face lift and at times can be a bit sketchy. The Walgreens is decent enough and there is a nail salon that is meh. However, the Good Will is awesome. I have found all kinds of second hand treasures here for very reasonable prices. One of my fav Good Will’s in the city.

Bayview Plaza Shopping Center is, in no way, a destination. it is a lifeline for the residents in Bayview, Hunters Points to do some shopping, banking, eats,
–Wells Fargo Bank
–Union Bank
–Walgreens
–Café
–Subway
–Goodwills
–laundromat
–small businesses
notes:
–parking here is terrible
–center wasn’t here decades ago
–nice for residents here, not so for non residents
*it’s where a car wash used to be
3 stars for convenience… of residents.

I only use this plaza for Walgreen’s and goodwill to find ugly a Christmas sweaters, and the Chinese restaurant. The plaza could use an update, but otherwise it’s cool.
For food they only have a few shops. The best in my opinion is Soo Fong Chinese food, not the best in town but the best in that area.
There’s also other random shops in the plaza like two banks, copy center and a clothing shop, and I think a dry cleaners.
It’s close to home and it works.

It’s always good to have a plaza within reachable distance from work or home.

Terminal for the 44 O’Shaughnessy is right in front of this facility and the 19 Polk has a stop right in front.

Shopping made simple… Lol

I have worked in this area for a very long time and it never fails… the plaza can be crazy! Get your shopping and your drama on all in the same spot!
It houses a Walgreens, Good Will, a few banks, wash and dry, dry cleaners, Subway, two restaurants, a continuation school, and a whole bunch of offices with the City and County. It makes for a truly weird and very special mix.
