this place should really get 3.5 stars… the food is actually pretty good. their soups, pre-made salads(the nicoise with sesame dressing is really good!), veggie sandwiches, and their chip and drink selections are great! their cookies suck, service sucks and they are a bit pricey for lunch, but for being so tasty and close to work, i end up here once or twice a week!

I’m not sure what to make of this place. I completed the SF Marathon and was dire need of replenishment… meaning real food! Since the run was this morning and on a Sunday, there’s not many choices to choose from since businesses usually open later in the day. My marathon buddy and I didn’t care: the first place we saw that was open was the place that’ll get our business! Yes we were that hungry! Briazz specializes in pre-made sandwiches and salads, homemade soups, baked goods, and coffee. Sandwiches and salads are available for pick-up at the store’s refrigerated section. The selection was pretty limited and prices are kind of pricey for what you’re getting. I had myself a chicken boob sandwich which didn’t tasted fresh and was severely dry. I had to put gobs of mayo and mustard to make it more edible. I washed my sandwich down with a cup of pretty weak coffee! Weak coffee is the mother of all sins! Oh how I wish the Peet’s nearby was opened! If you’re looking for a quick bite and convenience this is the place to go. For fresh tasting sandwiches and salads, I suggest the Subway nearby.

While a bit overpriced for soups, sandwhiches and salads the ingredients and selection are more towards the hoity-toity end. Some people like that kind of thing. I like the fact that it is fast, close to my office, and decently tasty. Briazz is better for on the go than a meal there given the limited seating space(and equally limited comfort of their high stool chairs.) I’d be a lot happier though if they included some bacon with their selection.

Expensive, crowded, blah. Not worth it. Hot damn I miss Au Bön Pain in New York.

Briazz offers standard café fare at typical Financial District prices. While none of the menu items wowed me, the prepared sandwiches and salads are of a decent quality and make good choices for those who only have a few minutes to grab lunch. Basically, Briazz will do in a pinch when Boxed Foods Company is closed – which, sadly, seems to be the case so much of the time – but definitely isn’t a destination spot.

When you’re on the go and don’t have time but want to grab something good and healthy this is the place to go! Great assortment of sandwiches and other goodies. Yummy food and friendly people!

Lots of stuff in the refridgerator section such as tunafish mayo on salad greens, sandwiches… just kinda wish had time to get made to order sandwich or that lunchtime wasn’t soo rushed that the sandwich bread ends up being a little dry when left in the refridgerator case… too many deadlines and convenience is the factor for the growling stomach.

good little grab and go kinda food… sandwiches and salad galore… and coffee to wash it all down… it’s a quick snack place when you are on the go…

A great place in the city to grab a quick sandwich or salad during lunch when all the other places are crowded with all the hungry people out and about.

This place has good cold sandwiches from the fridge, but I suggest you toast or microwave it for a few seconds so it’s warm. But it’s good. I got the meat monster or something like that, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But then again, I love meat and bread.
