Amazing idea, tasty mushrooms and really great service. Buying your own oyster mushrooms is not only expensive but they usually look pretty sad :(
When you use the fool-​proof kit for somewhere around $ 20 you get the best quality not to mention, quite a show. I have read that some people get 4 crops… at $ 5 per crop that is an amazing deal!
I will be getting more kits for myself and some friends! Thanks for the great support guys!

This is a truly sustainable concept from start to finish. They are literally transforming waste into food! As other people have already mentioned, BTTR grows mushrooms out of coffee grounds, sells grow-​at-​home mushroom kits made out the same coffee grounds, and even donates the coffee waste turned nutrient rich compost to local schools. it is definitely a very inspiring story and social entrepreneurship at its best:]

What a unique idea. Anyone can grow their own oyster mushrooms very inexpensively with their kits! Love it.

I always have one of their mushroom kits growing in my apartment. Seeing BTTR’s mushrooms grow in my home has been a truly fun and unique experience. I’ve met with the founders on the company on several occasions and they are a stand up couple of guys. They care about the environment, healthy food, and are doing something never heard of before. Best of luck to their team.
