Carlos Arroyo and Sons

I just finished a 3 year total restoration of a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 that I’ve owned for 40 years.
Carlos has a national reputation among car guys, especially the low rider set.
But he does other work, too. My goal was to restore it to «better than new» condition. Carlos nailed the FoMoCo exterior Wimbledon White and the interior metal dash Rangoon Red.
His work was practically perfect. I can’t drive one block without at least half a dozen people wanting to talk about the car, telling me the family had one, they had one, etc.
Even a 4 year old girl in the back seat of her car said «Mommy, look.» It starts early.
Too bad there’s only 5 stars. he deserves 10.

I came here with my BMW and got a great service from that place. It was awesome to think that the guys were so friendly and nicely expert with their job. It is first time here and got everything ok. I paid very reasonable price to the guys. I will be back.

Friendly and fast service, excellent repairs on my new Honda Accord, It came out looking brand new, clean and detailed on return to me.

I just had about 29 door dings repaired on my 2010 Subaru at Carlos Arroyo. And, they put on some side molding — shaped and painted to exactly match my car — that I hope will keep me from having to repeat the process. I’ve used them before for major work over the years and it’s always been very well done and I’ve always felt like I got good value.

Highly recommended. They were quick, efficient, repaired my bumper damage perfectly. Best of all, their price was extremely competitive. Will absolutely take my car there again if I’m ever in the unfortunate position of needing a dent fixed.

Honesty, Integrity, Pride and Discipline
My classic 1953 Ford was recently hit by an uninsured driver in Santa Rosa and I was on the hook for all of my own repairs. Instead of taking advantage of my situation, as many might, Carlos presented me with several options to get my baby fixed without destroying my wallet. A consultation was done, my original paint was matched by his color experts and on time and under budget, he delivered on the job.
The first shop I went to in Santa Rosa, had boasted that they too supported the troops and then promptly quoted me an amount over twice what I eventually paid Arroyo and son’s shop.
Mr. Arroyo is a fair, direct and honest businessman and United States Marine veteran who takes tremendous care to do the job right and do the Job once and he shows his support for troops by actions not by words.
The fact he is a Marine vet, is reflected in the esprit d’ corps and pride he and all of his workers show in their work and in that shop every single day
I highly recommend this shop to all those seeking quality work from dedicated professionals who love the classics and know how to treat you and your baby right!

Do not use this company. They are irresponsible, will not take responsibility for their mistakes, and are nasty to boot. I made arrangements to store my car at Carlos Arroyo and Sons 2 months in advance. I called back several times to confirm, including four days in advance, and the morning that I was going to bring the car in for storage. I confirmed each time that I would bring my car to store between 5 and 6 PM, and that I needed to leave it at that time, as I was thereafter going to the airport and leaving the country. The morning I was bringing the car to store, I spoke to Carlos himself, and I gave him my cell phone number in case there was any problem, emphasizing the fact that I had to leave my car to store there between 5 and 6 that evening. He confirmed that, and confirmed that I could also call him. However, at 5:15 when I called him from the road on the number he gave me to call, the office was closed, and nobody responded to my calls. I left numerous urgent phone messages, and did not receive a call back. Nor did anybody call me on the number that I had provided. I frantically tried to find another storage place that evening, but it was too late to make new arrangements. Because of that fact, I missed my plane and lost my ticket, as well as my prepaid limousine, and I had to rebook everything at a cost of $ 500. When I talked to Carlos the next morning, he took no responsibility for the mistake, and, in fact, he told me to «SUE ME». Even though he closed the office without telling me that he would, did not respond to my phone calls, did not call me on the number that I provided him, he indicated that it was my fault, and I was a troublemaker. Ughhhh! Don’t expect anybody here to care or make amends if they made a mistake with your car.

Back in 2001 when I was 18 and I crashed my parents Honda odyssey thats when I met them, Now after over ten years of business with my own cars I think they are due for a review. Carlos Arroyo is a stand up guy. A true car buff that conducts business with an old school NO BS type mentality. I brought in my car after a few years of neglecting the dings and dents and he pretty much said, Let me know what you want. leave it to me, I promise you will be happy. Long story short, I was not disappointed.

Carlos Arroyo is a very great business. This was my first time using this auto body shop and I have nothing but great things to say. Friendly customer service, treats you very well and understand each individual situations. My car was in an accident this month and I was refered to carlos. My car was a total lose. Ive had a horrible experience with the other persons insurance company and still am fighting with them. Carlos let me know that everything was going to be fine. He can obviously tell I was clueless with what was going on. He himself called the insurance to handle a few things. Nice thing to do. This is my third time dealing with a auto body… i hate them, I feel like I get cheated out. Carlos was different and made me feel secure about the process. I will go back to Carlos for my future auto body work.

I’ve been to them a couple times and they are always very professional & polite, they do a great job. They are not the cheapest but they are the best and most honest around, (I’ve been in this business for the last 15 years and have been to very many shops)

Okay, you know what I really hate? Those reviews where the person reviews a business when they haven’t actually used the service. It’s stupid.
And… now I’m one of Those People.
I didn’t actually have my car fixed here. I did, however, take it in to be assessed for damage after my other garage «fixed» it for me. After getting our previously brand new car back from the garage listed with State Farm Insurance, I noticed that the back hatch was still misaligned. Boo for missing the BIGGEST DOOR ON THE CAR. So, we went to the garage our car broker friend recommended, Carlos & Sons.
They did the estimate for free and looked over the rest of the repairs to make sure we weren’t going to drive right off of the wheels like in a cartoon. Very thoughtful and very thorough.

Our 3 car household used to have all our collision work done here, but never again. We discovered how dishonest this business was after our last repair. We purchased a van with minor damage to the interior door panels and the seller agreed to pay for repairs. We asked Carlos to add some soundproofing to the interior of the panels since they were going to replace them all (we would pay extra for this). We also asked him to take pictures of the new panels as evidence for the seller that the work was done. Carlos took pictures, and made a point of telling us how much work it was to add the extra insulation. Carlos charged us for the work and the extra insulation. We discovered later, quite by accident when we were installing speakers, that they had not added any insulation at all, and the insulation they supposedly added was actually original equipment. In other words, the panels came with insulation already installed, and Carlos fooled is into thinking he had added it. This was confirmed by our speaker installers, who happened to have another van of the same make in their shop at the same time. That van had exactly the same insulation as ours. We were offended, not only because the work was not done, but by Carlos’ assertion that it was.

Jairo and the crew at this Body Shop did an excellent job on my car. They really went the extra mile on the detailing of my car, touched up all the dings on the bumper, fixed a panel on the inside and a dent on the outside, all for a very reasonable price, on time and with a smile. I plan to use them regularly for my auto detailing…

These guys make a crappy situation feel a whole lot better.
My car was smashed by a hit and run driver, and the process of finding a good repair shop is not a fun thing, but I was sent to them by friends @ Luscious garage.
They not only replaced all the smashed parts and made it look like new within the short time line I needed, but they cleaned the car inside and out.
Carlos & Hyro are fantastic!

I haven’t had any actual work done here, but I have stored my antique car with them for years now, and each time I’ve gotten it out for a few months before I leave town again, it comes to me in great condition and freshly washed.
This may not seem like such a big deal, but after storing with another business and having the car come back with the interior covered in mold and the battery completely dead… I think it’s pretty great.
His storage is usually pretty full, but if you need a place to store your car for a while, give them a call. They’ll take good care of it.

My car got smashed from the front when a tree branch fell on it! i brought it to the shop and Jairo was so kind to help me and explain what they would need to do as far as getting my car fixed. He contacted my insurance company and never heard back from them until my car was ready to be picked up. AND time wise! I have to applaud them. My car was completely fixed in less than a week! Jairo promised to have it done soon and that he did! And on top of that my car was spotless. They took the time to wash and detail my car!

I used to take my car here all the time but the last time I took it they said they replaced the fender but I have my suspicions. There was a slight flaw exactly where the damage was done that looked like they just pounded out the dent. Plus I had to take it back three time to get some detail work done properly.
I have no proof, just a feeling. If you do take your car there make sure you see the receipt for any replacement parts to make sure you are getting what you pay for. A reputable body shop should have no issue with showing you this. I found a great place in Oakland who actually sat down with me and went through my whole file, invoices and pictures before I took the car away.

Just got my car back today. They did a great job! Not only did they fix the damage that was incurred by the hit and run but they also touched up a lot of the chips in my paint around the car. The car was washed waxed and detailed. My car has not been this nice since I bought it!
