Several washing machines are filthy and many machines are broken but unmarked as such. So it only becomes apparant after the laundry, the detergent and the money was added. And since there is no way to contact the owner(no phone number, no name, no message box to leave a note) there is no way to claim back the money or report broken machines, either. A very clever business model with maximized revenue and minimized work load. A good idea is to only use laundromats that have a contact number posted somewhere since those seem to be the only once that are reasonable up-kept. Well, I learned that today. And this one obviously is NOT among those…

I would prefer this spot over others in the neighborhood if it weren’t for the fact that my light colored clothes always come out of the dryer with weird stains all over them. I can’t figure out what’s going on with their washers or dryers, but all my white shirts have been ruined and a light colored pair of pants, brand new, is now covered in dirt stains. There usually aren’t crazy sketchy people here like in other nearby laundry spots, but don’t wash anything that’s not dark or it will get stained! After 3 years, I’m finally giving up on this place.

Cheap, close, convenient, small, and never busy. I was able to do homework in a little nook while the nice lady folded clothes. Theres an option for drop off service if you’re into that. Under 2 hours to wash, dry, and fold 3 loads.

Nice lady owner always gives my nephew candy whenever he goes to do laundry with me [: Clean machines… I always see the little old lady clean out the dryer lint. clean the floor, and all. she works so hard… nice old lady. [: $ 2 regular washers. Don’t remember how much dryers are but usually takes me about $ 1.25 for a 35 – 40 minute dry.

Can someone say free street parking?! This little jem is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. I’m here on a Saturday at 2 pm and it’s completely empty save for one other woman. Very relaxing atmosphere, very clean, located next to a mini-mart liquor and did I mention lots of street parking? Prices: Small washer: $ 2 Medium washer: $ 2.75 Large washer: $ 3.50 Dryer: .25 for 6 minutes

This place is great! It’s clean and there’s a quickie little market next door, in case you need any munchies. Plus, it’s a block from the beach so you can go for a pleasurable little beach walk while your clothes are washing/drying. I’m a big fan. It is however more expensive than some of the other laundromats that I’ve been to in the sunset ‘hood.

This is a very nice little laundry mat in the Outer Sunset. Since moving to the City a year and a half ago, I have used 4 or 5 different places. This is, by far, the best. Not only is it incredibly close, but the owners are friendly and the prices are cheaper than the other places around. Also, they fix the machines quickly. I went one week and a washer was broken, the next week it was already fixed and in use. The other places I have gone to, I’m sure, still have machines broken from when I first moved here. Additionally, no one annoys you like they do at the one near the 7 – 11, which is a huge plus.

I’m new to the laundromat scene so I hope that the experience I had at Clean Cycle Laundromat was typical because I can attest that it was definitely pleasant. Talk about convenience. I walked two blocks down from my place and found the laundromat nearly empty at 4:30 in the evening. About an hour & a half and $ 4 later, my clothes were clean and dry. While folding my clothes and ramming them into my laundry bag, the owner of the shop came over and handed me a big plastic laundry bag to haul all of my clean duds away in. What a nice gesture. He definitely earned a repeat customer today. If this place had wifi and a few chairs to sit in, I would have given them 5 stars.

I had been looking for a nearby laundromat and discovered this place from a flier stuck to my car window, only just being around the corner I was ecstatic! I would never had found this place otherwise and this is why it’s so good. I can always find a washer and it’s never too busy, I think this owes to it being off the main streets and I love it for that, only real locals use it so it’s quiet, relaxing and you can be in and out within an hour. They could do with some more modern washers(they only have 4 or 5 out of around 20 or so) but the old ones are good enough for most I expect. If you live in this area of Sunset I highly recommend the Clean Center.
