This place is horrible. I understand the signs around saying they are not responsible for clothing, HOWEVER, when a dryer literally burns something, they should do the right thing. I dried a comforter the exact same way I do every time, but this time their dryer completely burned my comforter. The entire thing is rust colored and not usable and smells like fire. I asked to talk to the owner and 4 days later she is still blaming me saying I used too many quarters and it was my fault. She was extremely rude and refuses to take responsibility. I live in this neighborhood and that’s not how you should treat your customers. It was their fault, and they won’t make it right. DONOTGOTOTHISHORRIBLEPLACE

Awesome place to do laundry, this place is really clean with lots of machines. If there’s any problems there’s always help immediately, no need to panic about money stuck in machines. Is a comfortable area to do laundry, especially is near the beach too.

I love this place! Coins galore and plenty of machines to chose from. Also the playlist is surprisingly good. I like the good vibe of this place and it beats trying to wash my clothes in the pathetic washer and dryer of my building. I don’t know what people expect from a laundromat in Outer Sunset but bums loitering outside the 7⁄11 comes with the territory. As long as you stay inside the brightly lit confines of launder land you’ll be fine.

Oh Launderland. This review is long overdue. When I used to live around the corner, launderland was the place to go. My experiences at launderland include, but are not limited to: *Bum fights outside the 7⁄11 *An Asian woman overfilling the washer, then flooding the row of machines *Many fights in foreign languages *Someone actually separating their whites and colors(clothing) *Lots of hair(human and animal) in various places Launderland is the type of place where you have to watch your clothes from start to finish and take a shower when you get home; at least your clothes will be clean. And, as an added bonus, people watching for daaaaaaaays.

Launderland is not a mystical place where you feel like a sorcerer while you clean your filthy clothes. Launderland is not populated by frolicsome imps that fold your clothes for you, for the low price of the promise of your first born child. Launderland is a place where you do not want to leave your clothing unattended. Launderland isn’t that bad, though. I’ve been here several times, because I like to procrastinate doing laundry until I’ve exhausted every form of undergarment that I possess; particularly around closing time. Last night, I lugged my laundry on the N-train(which stops directly in front of Launderland) and proceeded to do my laundry until closing time. It was rather dead, and the only other few patrons were friendly. I packed up my clean drawers and hopped back on the N at 9:30 exactly. When I got home I realized that I had forgotten an entire dryer full of clothes. I felt like all was lost. My favorite pants — gone. But, my friends, all was not lost. This morning, I traveled to the Land of Launder and found my clothes, still mildly moist, relaxing in the dryer. They greeted me warmly, and I shed a single tear knowing that some crazy homeless man wasn’t parading around the outer sunset in black high-waisted skinny jeans. TL;DR — OK place to do laundry, especially if you like people watching. None of my shit has gotten stolen and none of my quarters have gotten eaten(by machine or otherwise). Not an upscale place, but with a name like Launderland, you kind of expect a dystopian-esque laundromat anyways.

filthy place with half of the washers and dryers not in service that steal your money. Overpriced as well.

This is a great laundry facility. I go to this place at least once a week. I love that it has new washing machines which range in small, medium, and large sizes. Even though this is a self-service laundromat, there is a nice worker who is always trying to keep the place clean and tidy. He even plays nice music during the day. I also bring my children here to place and they end up playing with other patrons who have children as well. I give this five stars.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Horrible facilities. The last time I actually did laundry here, the machine broke. Before the lady would unlock the washer so I could remove my clothes, she told me to mop up the floors; as if I was the one who had maintained and owned the machines. She also refused to give me a refund for the machine that broke. For the past few months, I have been going to a different laundry mat. That place is a lot nicer and is between Judah and Kirkham on 48th. However, today their coin machine wasn’t working. I had already put a bunch of quarters into the washer, so I walked to Launderland to get the remaining dollar worth of quarters I needed to wash my clothes. The worker refused to let me have a dollar worth of quarters. I tried to explain to him what had happened, and he wanted none of it. I can understand not wanting people coming in to get $ 20 worth of quarters, but all I needed was 4 quarters. $ 1 worth. The horrible machines, filth of the business and price of machines was enough to make me never go back here. The horrible customer service when I needed assistance is enough to make me give them a horrible review on Unilocal. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

The general facilities here are subpar. There are only a few places to sit and of those most are situated around garbage cans that have flys all over them. It’s actually kind of gross in that aspect. However, if I have a huge amount of laundry(especially things like bedding and blankets) this is my go to place because there is a pretty awesome Indian restaurant next door, and it has a small parking lot. We start our laundry which takes about 30 – 36 minutes to run a complete cycle, and then we go for the Indian buffet. Yum! Then we only have to wait for our stuff in the dryer, which typically only takes another 30 minutes. If I can get that much laundry done in the span of about 2 hours, not have to lug my laundry halfway down the block AND get a delicious meal to boot then I am a very happy camper!

On a recent visit to Launderland, many of the machines weren’t functioning and the place was filthy. Ugh. Despite being one of the few laundromats with parking, I shall not return.

I came to Launderland solely because it has a parking lot and I wouldn’t have to haul laundry from the street. However, I probably should have gone to Clean Cycle Laundromat. One of the machines ate my quarters, all $ 3.25 worth. I didn’t know it was out of order until it simply did not work. Only a few machines are labeled as «out of order», so the owners probably don’t check up on their machines too often. I was annoyed, but it turns out that the dryers actually were quick and efficient, which made the process a bit more pleasant.

Pretty straight-forward laundromat. Owner was really friendly and offered plenty of assistance. Affordable. Parking is right on sight. 7⁄11 next door in case you wanna run over and get some snacks and reading material. Only downside was there were a lot of loiterers outside. But other than that, awesome experience.
