Coco Tutti had samples of all their bonbons and caramels available. the cappuccino and orange confit flavors were the tops. other chocolate creations were less distinctive. menu: bonbons and caramels(8/$ 10) locale: new taste marketplace(3⁄12) foodnotes: –though small, the chocolates packed a punch –some chocolates imitated truffle texture. –well worth the buck and change.

Elyce, proprietor and confectioner, is passionate about chocolate. Her husband is supportive and friendly! I discovered this chocolate creator at a Unilocal event recently and sampled a few pieces of her work. They were delicious. I had: a chocolate orange confit and a florentine with roasted almonds(too good!!!). It’s been awhile since I’ve had great chocolate. It was crispy and fresh, light on the sweet side, and I wanted more. I loved the details to the roasted almonds and the dash of orange coloring on the confit. Elyce even informed me that she can customize the colors for weddings. Friendly customer service and energy! I asked if she had a store front and replied no. However, you can find her at the following locations in the upcoming months(reading from her business card) including: the usual spots: ~ SF Underground ~Homegrown Marin Market, Sausalito and the upcoming events: 2011 ChocolateFest, Portland from 1⁄21 to 1⁄23 2011SF International Chocolate Salon at Fort Mason(April 17) — must try to be there for this chocolate!!! You can order through the website and pay electronically via PayPal. Prices are reasonable given that its handmade chocolate(e.g. 4 pieces for $ 5 according to the site).
