Is this place even open anymore? Frequently here on Saturdays and never seen it open…

10 stars Love this place… Friendly staff or maybe owners. The sandwich is great. Love the prosciutto panino. Just placed an order over the phone and they are quick.

This place is miserable. Grumpy lady behind the counter and never open. Food is eh. Please move out and let a business who brings value to the neighborhood move in.

I’m not sure where all the great reviews are coming from?! I’ve been to this place several times simply because I work down the street. The selection is poor and not as fresh as I would expect. V few really healthy option. Even the ones that look healthy, including a bean salad – made with canned beans– arent really. There is often this not so friendly/inviting woman sitting in a chair in the front, gossiping with the gals running the place This just doesn’t seem like an authentic, fresh, old school Italian deli to me. The service is typically satisfactory at best. I’ve had the meat balls a few times. They warmed them in the microwave but every time(including after I told the staff) they were not warmed all the way through so I ate half cold meat balls. Kinda gross but I was already back at work and ravenous. The final straw was the last time I went in about a few weeks ago. I figured it was pretty close to closing time, if not exactly that time but the door was propped open so I walked In. It would be a stretch to say I was«greeted», it was more like stared at or glared at by the mom and one of the daughters. I could tell then that it must have Been about that time since they were all looking at me like«oh god not a customer now», so I said«oh are you guys about to close?» The daughter says, yea, and we just don’t have much left” in a cold matter of fact way. She didnt seem to give a you know what that I was a patron potentially looking to make a purchase. I was so over this place at this point, I just looked at her and said«that’s ok it doesn’t look very inviting», and by that I meant the food and the service!!! If you people don’t enjoy your business or serving the public, do something else that will bring you joy and let someone else take over who wants to add some love and light to our neighborhood!

If you want to go to a shop that sells good Italian basics, serves a worthwhile sandwich, and represents the Italian way of setting your own hours, you can look no further.(P.S. they do take credit cards via Square on an iPad) After reading some of the complaints I just want to take a minute to explain this from my perspective after going to this place… This is a local family owned Italian deli that is owned by a mother and ran by her 2 daughters. Their hours are«Monday-Friday 11am-5pm(ish)». I won’t lie that I’m surprised a business like theirs can stay in business, but I’m happy that it is. Italians are traditionally known to set family first and that’s what this shop does. I don’t know if the deli is just a prolonged passion project for the family or if it makes any money, but I do hope to see them stick around… even if that means I’ll never get to go there because of their hours. Food: I tried some of their sandwiches(Meatball & Mr. Italiano are delicious) with my girlfriend. The meatball was really good with a delicious tomato sauce that came with it. The Italiano had the classic Italian combo of Mortadell, Salame, and Coppa with your choice of ingredients(I recommend asking for the house vinaigrette). Both decent sized sandwiches that were filling. Groceries: I bought some risotto while I was there. It seems like it will be really high quality stuff. They carry a lot of things from the Italbrand & Strianese, which is almost always a sure bet in my opinion. I would certainly shop here for speciality items if I ever made it here before closing. My only complaint is that I wish they were open on the weekends and/or later on the weekdays. They are only open while I’m at work and only had a chance to try it out because I worked from home.

My Noni has been coming here since I can remember, maybe even before that, so I decided to give it a try. It’s a Great little deli, perfect for your quick, everyday sandwiches, and fresh. Love it :)

This place has quality food. It seems like they are always closed, but you can always get a great lunch there on a weekday. I usually order the chef salad. It is packed with low mercury tuna, lettuce, broccoli, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, red beans and it can come with a side of bread. This is my favorite post workout meal because it keeps you full, but you don’t feel heavy. I love the girls who run this place. It is all family owned and they are always helpful.

I felt like I was transported to Italy! I ordered a prosciutto di parma sandwich for about $ 8.00, fair price for the excellent quality of meat and over all size of the sandwich. It was just liked my Nonna used to make it for me! They also have a great selection of hard to find Italian food items for your kitchen like cookies, pasta, sauces, and Brioschi. Brioschi solves all stomach problems! I will go back to Corsagna Deli many times over in the near future!

I just started working down the street and this place is my new favorite go-to for lunch. The prices are a steal. The sandwiches are straightforward and yummy, the pasta, however, is truly to die for. Forget the snobby hipsters at Blue Fog Market taking 15 minutes to make me a $ 10 sandwich, nevermind $ 2 for a coke.

No chit chat. No fuss. Just a fast and furiously made turkey sandwich on house bread. Vin Diesel would approve.

Had my first sandwich from here today and I was definitely pleased. Standard sandwich place. Nothing fancy, but well made. All of the veggies on the sandwich were really fresh. Friendly service. Takeout only. Cash only. A little expensive for what you’re getting, but similarly priced to other sandwich places in the area and a lot fresher and just better. I’ll be back for more sandwiches in the future.

This place makes good sandwiches. The place is small, but clean. Customer service is very good and friendly. The sandwich comes with a choice of bread; hard roll, soft roll, wheat and white bread. I had the roast beef sandwich. The sandwich was delicious and the meat was moist, fresh, and generously portioned. The standard toppings, lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo were fresh. I also had the meatball sandwich. It was well made, warm, flavorful, and juicy. The salads they have are OK.

i work just down the street and their sandwich during my lunch break is the highlight of my(work) day hehe. their sandwiches never disappoint. it’s nothing fancy or unique, just very fresh and tasty. when i am super hungry, i will get a huge sandwich for 6 – 7 dollars or a small sandwich plus small soup for the same price. but on most days, i will get a small sandwich for 4 dollars and am wholly satisfied.

If I’m not in the mood for a cheaper(therefore, not as good) sandwich from Rutily’s Market around the corner, I come here. The sandwiches are reasonably priced(about $ 7.50), they taste fresh, and their selection is just plain crazy. Paninis, sandwiches, 100,000 types of meat, fresh bread — a wide selection that makes for an eventful lunch break! Some may say this place is over-priced. My response: you pay for what you get — a dankalicious concoction between two pieces of bread.

Im an Italian from NY and this Deli has the best sandwiches. Of course Im partial to Italian owned and operated places but really the food is fresh and homemade by the girls! My favorite is the panini style sandwich. Be sure to get the thin sliced pickles on your sammy. They will make any kind of sandwich you want. They also have great pastas on the rack and authentic Italiano ingredients. They have my favorite San Pellagrino Aranciata. Yum! Love you girls!!!

I lived in S.F. for 9 years, this little family owned and run place is awsome. The food it alway fresh and delicious, bread is baked daily. love the sour dough. CASHONLY limited seating, authentic Italian deli, they got Coppa, and other more rare meats. Also roasted peppers and sundried tomatoes fresh mozzerella, Sandwiches are Excellent, so are the soups and salads. Love the roast chicken sandwich. Sadly I moved from S.F. about a year ago. I recently came for a visit and Corsagna Deli was my first stop. I got the rental and floored it to Union St. If you want good quality, really yummy food, at a fair price swing by here and gets yourself and sandwich and soup, or some pasta with meat sauce. mmmmm

Coresagna isn’t a bad place to spend $ 8 – 10 for a sandwich, salad, or pasta and a drink to take back to your desk or, better yet, eat in the charming Allyne Park, one short block north on Green and Gough. However, in the same short block you can do better for speed, service, selection and about as well on price Operated by two sisters who work alternate days, total staffing at Coresagna never exceeds one. Since the entire order process(taking the order, making it, packing it, ringing up the customer) takes three to five minutes, if there are three people ahead of you, settle in for a 10 – 15 minute wait. Short staffing also means errors and bad moods behind the counter. I’ve visited perhaps eight times over three years and have experienced missing drinks and containers messily placed upside down in the bag. I’ve also learned that small + local does not equal friendly. Food quality is fine(I like the meatball sandwich) but nothing more. Fast Facts * Take-out only(unless you get the one table, located on the sidewalk) * Expect to spend $ 10 for lunch with drink. I’ve posted a snapshot of the menu under pictures * Expect to wait at least 10 minutes if you visit between 11:30 and 1:30 * Small selection of beverages, no coffee drinks, no alcohol * Cash Only My suggestion Walk five minutes and go to Blue Fog Market at Green and Gough instead. You’ll get the same kind of meal but faster, better, with a wider selection and identical prices. Plus, its directly across the street from Allyne park, takes credit cards, has a wide range of beers and makes great coffee drinks.

A-OK is the perfect description for Corsagna. This is the type of place you go to when you’re too lazy to make your own sandwich with the stuff you have it home. I.e. there’s nothing fancy about the sandwiches(for example they don’t have avocado) — but they have the basics and the basics are fresh and good. ***CASHONLY(boo but understandable for this tiny little shop).
