Tasty, substantial crust and pretty fast delivery(within the Sunset). The prime rib dinner, which I think they only serve on Fridays and Saturdays, is «so-so.» The sauce tastes like it was made with a mix or came from a jar, but the meat was flavorful and a very generous slice.

held on to memories past of this place & ordered a 14″ deep dish ½ pep & mushroom, ½ plain pep. Why oh why did u have to put a gallon of pizza sauce on top? By the time I got home, pizza and box were destroyed by seeping sauce. And they didn’t even bother cutting pizza. Is this something new? Takeaway –some memories are best left in the past. $ 26 down the drain. Should have went w/Roundtable. At least they are consistent. Son got a burger & said it was good=2 stars.

Three words… gluten free pizza! Delivered? Seriously? Yes, the Cybelle’s Front Room on 9th delivers gluten free pizza in the Inner Sunset… ask for extra crispy! I actually prefer the gluten free pizza as it is more NY/NE style thin crust, is rather yummy, and can please gluten-free folks! Calizones are my 2nd fav here. But two thumbs up for the gluten free pizza… a rare unicorn anywhere in SF. Thanks Cybelle’s Front Room 9th Street!

This place was great! The people who work there are really nice, the cook even came out to see how our food was! Nice sized portions and reasonable pricing. I had a monster slice of the margherita pizza and there was crust on all sides of it, which I have never seen before. So I know it’s all made when ordered and not just cut out of an already made pizza. Definitely recommend this place!

Surprisingly tasty pizza. We got two 18″ pizzas for four guys, which was more than enough pizza. I think we could have got far less pizza and we would have been fine. Some interesting variety of flavors and toppings available. Decently high-quality ingredients. Reasonably prompt making it, although it was a little cold so I think they quoted a longer time for it to be ready than it actually was. Price was decent considering how much pizza we ended up getting, but next time we should order less. Not outstanding in any particular way, but solid, tasty pizza.

I don’t like Unilocal giving me suggestions on how to review a business. Let me just tell it like it is OK. This place is everything! Welcoming staff, cool atmosphere, and the food was tasty! My boo had the lamb burger and she said it’s better than Jack’s! So go and you’ll enjoy!

Hey, it’s our go-to pizza joint… generally when we order it’s to go cuz we are too lazy to actually cook anything. They are the closest pizza restaurant to our place, but also they are our favorite for these reasons. 1. History, they have been here for a long long time 2. The atmosphere is comfortable, you don’t feel like you’re eating or getting your food from a laundromat. 3. The people are cool, they treat you as guests 4. The pizza is tasty, crust is soft, good and right amount of toppings and sauce.

Solid pizza, very soft bread and good portions of sauce, cheese, and toppings. The ranch was mediocre but you don’t really need it for the pizza.

We ordered the Chicken on the Green pizza and it was just god awful. Chicken was dry, cheese tasted like glue, all toppings came from a can. I don’t even know how you can go wrong with pizza. A frozen pie from Costco tastes better. We had leftovers and the second time tasted as bad as the first. Pricey for the food too. Sorry, try better next time.

When I didn’t have any expectations what so ever I’ll share a little. Diner wasn’t horrible, I ordered a pizza that was very basic flavor and concept wise. The pie was hard, the chicken was dry, the pesto was canned and the roasted peppers as well. A Thursday night homemade pizza has nothing to envy to what is apparently a neighborhoods favorite. I am not sure if the house is claiming to be authentic from any kind but regardless it’s a fail. I would recommend it after a drunken night out, nothing more. Service was fast as heck though. And when I hate waiting too long for food, their rapidness was probably due to the lack of effort on the food and ingredients themselves…

I stopped by Cybelle’s wanting to try a different pizza place in the neighborhood. I should have stayed with my usual spots. I physically spoke to one of the waitresses who was on the floor when I arrived and asked if I could sit at the bar. The restaurant was no where near busy… there weren’t even ten other patrons in the place. I proceeded to wait 10 – 15 minutes at the bar, trying to get the attention of either waitress. Seriously, they did a great job of avoiding eye contact, especially since they dropped off food for the gentleman sitting next to me and several time were less than five feet from where I was sitting. Needless to say I can’t comment on the quality of the food.

This review is based on a multitude of positive experiences. First off, the previous owners owned this place for a long time. I used to come to this establishment when I was a little bambino(kid). It’s amazing how many places that you frequented when growing up go out of business or sell to new owners. When this happens usually your memories are sold or disappear as well. But, the new owner has done a magnificent job redeveloping this place and the quality of food is high, which also is on par with the great service from the waitstaff. I actually only really eat at this place when I come and visit my mom once in a while because I don’t live in San Francisco anymore. They even have one of the original cooks that has worked at this located for decades. He recognizes my family every time we come in because he has watched us grow up as kids. My friends Joana and Paula have ordered from here for years because my family mentioned how good the quality of food is. Joana always orders the ravioli. The pizzas are very tasty and they have an extensive menu. They use quality dressings on their salads(none of that watered down blue cheese). The place is super clean, and they have a very nice(clean) bathroom. You can always tell the cleanliness of a kitchen by the cleanliness of the bathroom. As far as cost, this place is budget-friendly, which also makes it a great place to take the family, or a large group of people. Why should you eat here when there are dozens of other restaurants in the area? 1. The owner really appreciates your business, and shows it when he greets you as you walk in. 2. The interior is nice, organized, and clean. 3. The service is efficient and the waiters/waitresses are nice and hospitable. 4. The quality of food makes you yearn for more. 5. It’s historical content. This place has a lot of history to San Franciscans, and isn’t just some new establishment where you feel like you’re sitting inside a Starbuck’s with a bunch of beatniks and yuppies. Pay this place a visit… I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay. Ciao.

I ordered a slice of pizza with pineapple, ham and jalapeños and then a small plate of fries. I ordered fries thinking the slice would be too small. Holy moly, the slice was huge with so many toppings. The service was great as well! The waiter I had was so sweet and always made sure to fill up my cup of water :) I would definitely come back here for another slice when I visit SF again :)

You know when you’re sick and just want crappy food from your childhood? One time that happened to me and I picked up some spaghetti-O’s. It was good because it was exactly what I wanted, in that shitty processed food kind of way, but it mostly tasted like regret. That’s what Cybelle’s spaghetti with meat sauce is like. Kind of good b/c that’s what I was craving… but still just not good. We often get pizza delivery from here and love it, but when we ordered a small pizza to dine in the restaurant, 60% of the pizza’s center crust was soggy and overloaded with cheese. Maybe they have a 16yr old line cook on Sundays at 4pm? Pizza delivery has been great! But the only time I will return to eat here is if I want a glass of wine, an outlet, and a window seat as I use their free wifi.

I was searching for a pizza joint open at 11:00am and this was the only one in my area that was open! I ordered a large sausage and onion pizza and picked it up within an hour. Once, I picked it up, it was ready for me in a heated glass case. I came home and it was still piping hot! i loved it! The pizza was so good and I’m kicking myself for not ordered an even bigger pizza. 4 starts for Cybelle’s pizza!

Love the food! Great service and atmosphere :) I ordered the calamari, carbonara pasta and jalapeño poppers . Jalapeño poppers. OMG perfect and delicious. I hate it when you bite into it and you accidentally pull out the whole jalapeño or when they make it super hot and the cheese squirts out n burns your lips and mouth. Honestly this place makes one of the best jalapeño poppers I ever tried. It’s not too hot. When I bite into it, the jalapeño doesn’t come out!!! It’s perfectly cooked !! Carbonara pasta was rich and creamy! needed a bit more salt but it’s okay!(i think i just eat things a bit saltier than normal. NOTGOOD!) it was very good. the pasta was just cooked perfectly too! i def. would come back! i def. want to try the pizza and other pasta dishes!

Another delivery meal over my holiday break back in December 2012. The roommate and I were craving burgers and sandwiches. We found Cybelle’s Front Room after doing a Unilocal search. They have their own online delivery system, so we just used their website to place our order. *Hot buffalo wings(deep fried) $ 8.95 *New york steak sandwich with garlic potato wedges($ 11.95) +Provolone(+$ 1) *Bacon cheeseburger(no bun) with fries($ 9.95) +Sauteed mushrooms(+$ 1) +Avocado(+$ 1) *Meatball sandwich with garlic potato wedges($ 7.95) +Mozzarella cheese(+$ 1) Their food was pretty tasty! My burger was juicy. The wings were crispy. I’m not a huge fan of steak fries, so that may be my only complaint. Otherwise, I’d definitely order from them again since I’d love to try their other apps and pizza. The stuffed mushrooms with pesto look delicious!

I’m a local and I have been coming to Cybelle’s since 2009. It’s a great place if you want to go have a slice of pizza, or pasta, and watch the game. I usually get a monster slice of the Chicken on the Green(Great slice of pie) and it’s to die for. Their pesto spaghetti is an all time favorite as well and I have when I carb-load for marathons. Service is amazing and it’s a nice fun little place. I highly recommend if you want to chill and grab a bite!

Got the biggest size here of pepperoni pizza last night, during the World Series. 25 min wait, not sure if that’s good or bad on a night like that. Pizza was good, nothing to be wowed by though. Service was okay? We got take out so we didn’t have much interaction with employees. $ 23 for a one topping 18-inch. Anyone know now big their Monster slice is?
