This was my first ever favorite sushi place in SF. The fish is always so fresh and cut so well and served at a perfect temperature that it’s incredible. The salmon sashimi melts in your mouth, the hotate is smooth like butter and the hamachi puts up a moment’s hesitation before dissolving. Never will you find scales, imperfections or any lack of quality in the fish here. And their tuna salad is unlike anything I’ve had anywhere, ever. They always have it, just make sure you ask for the seared tuna salad. You will be so thankful. The rolls, while fresh, are a little unoriginal — hence the 4 star review. Also, the price will definitely get you in the end. Prepare to spend at least $ 100 for a dinner for two with a drink. Their backroom is great for groups or parties. I would just make sure to make a reservation. All-in-all, I would say that this place is definitely worth the trip over to Noe for a night of killer fish.
