I usually don’t like fro-yo places(or fro-yo in general), but Easy Breezy is an exception! I love coming here. The place is a bit small and there’s limited seats, but people come here for the yogurt! My favorite flavor is the chocolate custard. Also the customer service is always great. They always offer samples to everyone. If you come as often as I do, your 10th cup is free! Cute little place to come for a quick snack/dessert with some friends. Definitely check this place out :)

They really nailed the banana flavor! It’s like you’re squeezing a cold banana… No disgusting artificial banana flavors here! Not a lot of flavors to choose from, but they all taste really good. Small place not much seating outside but it’s fun to stand outside and watch people stumbling their way on Castro.

I laughed a bit as I entered this yogurt shop, as the flavors kind of summed up what a lot of people think of as California/San Francisco stereotypes. For example, there were all kinds of milk options– almond milk«low fat» coconut milk«medium fat», regular non-vegan«full fat» that contained eggs, etc. There were also interesting flavors– basil lime, Oaxaca chili chocolate, and so on. But an employee quickly offered to give me samples and I enjoyed what I tried. The lemon crème custard(«full fat, full on», per its description) was hands down some of the best custard/ice cream/yogurt I have ever had and I am not even a big fan of lemon. I also had the almond milk cake batter which was ok. I like almond milk with my coffee and oatmeal and cereal, but I wasn’t a big fan of it with my fro-yo. I also added a little of the coconut milk basil lime. This was okay as well but reminded me a bit too much of the thai food I had eaten before the yogurt. I didn’t get too much of the coconut milk flavor due to the strong basil flavor so I think I would have to try another flavor with coconut milk to determine whether I like it as a base. They have a great selection of toppings as well and everything looked really fresh. There were a few interesting items I haven’t seen in other yogurt shops which I liked. Overall, I really liked everything about Easy Breezy except for the fact that they have 3 locations and none of them are very close to me. Although perhaps that is a good thing since I would probably be a very frequent visitor otherwise.

Not much seating inside. Ok enough complaining. Nice range of flavors, I got Thai Tea with caffeine nonfat froyo, prefect pick me up after hours of walking in the sun. Free samples were offered. People watching is the ultimate, if you can get a seat near the window or outside. One man walked past wearing nothing more than a thimble sized sheath covering what is likely his only untanned body part. Cross dressers were wearing their best upscale dresses as they walked past. Everybody was happy. I love Castro!

While walking in the Castro district, I help but notice the cute smiley frozen yogurt cartoon wood cut-out in front of this store. I tried the tart yogurt swirled w/lime topped with strawberries & the chocolate(made with dairy) with cookie crumbles, peanuts & chocolate candy. I was surprised that the lime wasn’t green so the swirl didn’t look swirly. It just looked plain white. Or perhaps there was no lime in the actual swirl choice & it was all just tart? Unlike other froyo spots, Easy Breezy offers various cup sizes for you to choose from. You pay by the ounce like traditional froyo places & samples are offered upon request. However, samples here are given by the worker. You cannot go up to the machine & get your own sample. There’s no outdoor dining tables but there are some benches. Inside there are a couple spots to sit.

The Castro has been in need of a dedicated froyo shop for quite some time now because it is, after all, the Land of Breezy Easiness. Enter Easy Breezy who swooped in to open their third location in the former Frapez space on 18th right off Castro. It’s a smarter use of the space than a misbegotten smoothie shop whose employees took quite a while to produce a cup. Here it’s self-serve, so the only frustration comes from the perpetual tasters who refuse to make up their minds. Why people are not willing to take a risk with any given flavor is beyond me since I just want to get my froyo and go. I agree with Jane Fonda on «Grace & Frankie» when she described a froyo shop this way: «It smells like breast in here.» Eight flavors were behind the heavily handled spigots — Vanilla, Nutella, Oh My! Apple Pie, Lemon Ginger, Vanilla Custard, Red Velvet, Chocolate Custard and of course, Original Tart which I think they have to offer by law(photo: ). I wasn’t about to do the mini-taste cup thing and kept heaving audible sighs at skinny men who were doing that ad nauseam. I settled on the combination of Nutella and Lemon Ginger with Toast Crunch and Organic Strawberries(photo: ). It was good and creamy but at 71 cents an ounce, it really added up to over $ 7. It’s not like you can scoop out any at that point to bring it to a more reasonable dollar figure. I assume return visits will refine my technique. Or not. Gee, it smells like breast in here. FROYO — 4 stars… on the creamy side of the froyo spectrum, kinda pricey AMBIANCE — 3 stars… open space, one table and some benches outside SERVICE — 3 stars… nothing special really TOTAL — 4 stars… I just come for the froyo, I’ll leave now…

I think it might be dangerous that frozen yogurt has become so accessible from where I live, especially because they have awesome flavors. The minute my friend and I walk in, we’re offered sample cups to try the various froyo flavors. I’m a huge fan of the peanut butter one. Anyways, we fill up our bowls and head to the stations of toppings. My friend commented on how fresh their fruit is, and I’m impressed by how well-stocked they are of everything. The staff is super nice, and the process of getting checked out is easy. Yes this place is a little pricey but well worth the convenience if you live nearby. This review requires no further comments other than… I’ll be back! Many, many more times. Perhaps this will be my reward for going to the gym. Just an idea for all the other Unilocalers reading this :) or nah.

I’ve been saying for years that the Castro needed an ice cream shop ever since Naia gelato went out of business. Enter Easy Breezy… the answer to my sweet tooth’s prayers! With amazing flavors and topping choices, super friendly staff, and quality ingredients I am definitely nervous about how often I might be seen here. We tried the peanut butter, which was amazing. Haven’t had peanut butter fro yo taste that much like delicious peanut butter pretty much ever. Another awesome flavor was the Castro Cupcake. It’s a very bizarre bright purple color, suits it quite well actually. I enjoyed this flavor because unlike most cake batter-esque flavors I didn’t get sick of it for it being overly fake or sweet. Kudos for the quality and taste. We paid about $ 11 for two and according to my husband I got us too much. I’m certainly glad to welcome them to the neighborhood, my waistline not so much.;) Day 1 so cash only but I’m guessing that’s going to change soon.

Wow! I had a coupon from the Fro-yo race and so I stopped by here finally. It took me a while to decide what flavor because they broke it down to non fat or full fat on the menu. I was sorry to see they took the peanut butter flavor out, but the girl said they rotate flavors around. So I went for the chocolate and mixed vanilla bean with tart original vanilla. I added the passion fruit flavor boba balls and that was great! It was perfect for a 90 degree day! I will return again for a special treat. It is expensive for 71 cents per ounce. But I feel it’s worth it because of fresh ingredients and nice friendly atmosphere. Very busy on Saturday afternoon with one worker at cash register and one explaining to people how self serve works. They offer samples to help customers decide what to order. Although very busy, the cashier girl asked if we wanted samples as well. Good customer service.
