Best Horchata and churros ever. The sweetness and grittiness of the drink are perfect! and the churros have a filling in them that just oozes out when you bite into it. I really liked all the food I’ve gotten from this place. The super burrito and the breakfast burritos are delicious :) The cashier is also super nice. You get to choose what type of tortilla you want too(spinach, regular, tomato, etc). Open late(3 am) on weekends so perfect for late night food.

Was it amazing? No was it good? Yes moist chicken but I think they put too much likes in the salsa, at least I’m hoping because it was sour.

The super tacos are probably one of those underrated menu items, or I guess I just love guacamole. I like this taqueria a lot, is reliable and the price is very fair.

Delicious. My favorites are the enchiladas with chicken in salsa, milanese, or really anything. The burritos are delicious. Salsa is spicy as it should be. Best horchata around. Open late… What more could you ask for?

With so many taquerias in SF, sometimes I wonder why I bother reviewing them. But I loved this place! Fish tacos — the fish is seasoned with what tastes like smoked paprika and grilled. It’s just the right amount of spicy and delicious. Veggie taco — loaded with lots of good stuff, not lacking in filling like a lot of veggie tacos. A nice layer of cheese between the two corn tortillas.

Simply an amazing taqueria. The service is fast and friendly and the food is consistently delicious. The chicken Mexican salad is always made fresh and with high-quality ingredients. It’s also pretty large so it’s a great value. Super burrito is also must try.

This is my go to place for inexpensive good quality burritos. Everyone should have a neighborhood spot as good as this. The staff is very friendly and get’s your order correct and quick. There’s also a salsa bar that’s cleaned and restocked often. Although I only order a burrito, their menu is quite extensive and offers dozens of other items. If you live near Alamo Square, try them out.

Too many other Mexicali type places in the hood to recommend choosing this place over the 2 others nearby. Good for late night snacks.

Came here for an early dinner! Typically my neighborhood go to is el burrito express, but honestly this place takes the cake! Authentic food and a menu filled with variety! The first time I came I got a steak burrito, not my favorite… however this time I decided to have the crispy taco combination plate! The plate was so delicious! Rice and beans super flavorful and tacos were crispy and chicken inside was tastey! I also love the fact that they have many alcoholic beverage options! I ordered the sangria and it was a great accompaniment to my meal! Will be back!

We’ve found a new neighborhood gem! Key points: Friendly staff Takes credit cards/debit Salsa bar Free(& fresh!) chips Variety on their menu(including fish tacos) Big portions I got a super taco because I wasn’t hungry and found myself committed to a meal! I’ve never seen such a large taco. I had to eat it with a fork. It was piled high with carne Asada, guac, lettuce, pick de gallo, sour cream and cheese. So much cheese. All for $ 5 too. My buddies seemed to enjoy their orders as well. One got a steak ranchero & the other a chicken burrito. I recommend for a fast tasty meal.

1. Get the super quesadilla with steak. 2. Slather it with salsa verde and habanero. 3. Grab a friend to share because the portions are pretty huge. 4. Eat. 5. Be happy and satisfied. When El Faralito is too far, this place is a good substitute for you burrito/quesadilla/taco cravings.

There is not a decent burrito joint west of this place. If you are down at the beach, this is how far you will need to go to get the real deal. The salsa bar is excellent. Free chips. The Al Pastor has a real barbecue flavor. Good prices. Friendly staff. Open late.

I love El Rancho’s food, I love the people, I love the football and/or soap operas and I love the price. I’m a huge fan of both the Californian burrito and the super tacos, but I really haven’t regretted ordering anything off the menu. It’s the best Mexican in the area!

It’s not the best taqueria in the city(see Taqueria Vallarta on 24th), but a place in this area that’s decently priced and stays open until 3am? Win. This place gets packed around midnight because of all of the people in the area looking for nourishment after imbibing, but they churn out food really quickly, and for those of you who go after tacos when you’re befuddled from good drinks, there’s an extensive salsa bar. As for me, the El Rancho nachos will do just fine. For less than $ 10, you get a large stack of fries, cheese, guac, pico, and a meat of your choice. Chorizo is always a solid pick, but their carnitas aren’t bad either. The meat is soft and ladled onto your food in large portions. Beer, al pastor, guac, what more can you ask for? You now have a legitimate late-night taqueria on Divis, San Francisco. Well played.

Finally a decent taco spot in SF!!! It is so hard to find good tacos here. People think they know good places and then I think they must not have ever had a decent taco and I cry a little bit inside. Someone told me this place was great but I was so doubtful I almost left after standing in line for a minute. Glad I didn’t. These are great! Totally normal, tasty, tacos! Theyre a little expensive compared to socal but at least they are good. Large portions of meat, quality meat, quality other ingredients, a solid salsa bar, totally on point horchata, great service, bright, clean. Finally have a good taco place in SF!

Overall, this is a high-quality tacqueria, and I might even say it’s the one of the best Mexican food. Everything that I have had here is better than average, and all the fixings are fresh and delicious. and in my opinion, their huevos rancheros and their ranchero salsa is the best that I’ve had in SF. I live nearby, so I eat there dozens of times a year. I’ve tried their super burritos, tacos, super nachos, flautas, tamales, chile rellenos, quesadillas, california burritos, wet burritos, and huevos rancheros. I would love to explore more of the menu, but my cravings for the above-mentioned food items keep me from doing so. As I mentioned, their salsa ranchera at the salsa bar is amazing, and their free chips are usually pretty good, but sometimes stale. I hesitate to give it 5 stars only because the dining in area is not great.

Holy bananas — I had an al pastor super burrito without rice here this weekend and it blew my mind. Not sure if they put some sort of special sauce, but the inside looked kind of creamy(?) and tasted super rich. I was very happy for all the moments I ate this/did not have a heart attack. :P Looking forward to trying other/different meats here!

Rancho Grande is one of my go to Mexican spots in SF, and a great place when you are in a hurry. Located a few blocks from Fell and Divisadero, street parking is usually easy to find. The tacos are good, the carne asada is moist and the lettuce is cold and crisp. I like the salads also, the caesar salad has lots of meat. The salsa bar is one of the best in SF. Spicy salsa, good habanero salsa as well as salsa verde.
