First off, you guys make a wicked awesome vegan pizza. Thank you for making new a safe pizza for my allergic daughter. The reason for my review tonight is because we got your wings tonight. Man, I’m not trying to be a rag but they were utterly inedible. Omg– limp limp limp. Yuck. Anyway, we will continue to order pizza from you. Your salads are good too. But man, you gotta work on your wings.

Best sourdough pizza in SF! I love how the crust has the perfect balance: nice crunch on the outside, and soft on the inside. The pizza was just as good the following morning. Favorites: Chicken Florentine, Hilda’s Favorite, and Californian.

Ordered from the West Portal store, they won’t deliver to the Ingleside. 3 Medium pizzas for $ 68.00!!! My daughter took 2 home to her family I took the other. The crust was so tough I had memories of chewing«Jawbusters» when I was a kid growing up. Just cause its higher priced doesn’t make it better. This pizza was inedible. I’ll never get food here again, and I urge you to avoid this place too.

We ordered a pizza for delivery and after an hour we were told that they weren’t able to satisfy our request! They complained that our place is too far(Divisadero street) but they already knew it. So we offered to pick up the delivery some streets nearer but they refused very unkindly. Saying that«delivering on the street was not orthodox» So after an hour and half, no pizza at all. Also the guy suggested to go to little star pizza saying that the pizza would be much better and the crust is great! Therefore if the people working in a restaurant advise you to order somewhere else probably there is something wrong with their product. We finally ordered at little star and they were right! Pizza was great and therefore please next time you want a pizza go to LIttle star pizza as suggested by the people working at goat hill. Also please do not believe in the birthday free pizza, we can can’t say it worked out at all!

I love the gluten-free pizza here :). And the different combos are great. Convenient delivery, too. Would definitely recommend.

Goat hill delivered for my daughter’s birthday party. Delicious and on time. For the same cost as your«chain» cardboard pizza, you get their awesome special crust. Compliments all around!

Came here to get a slice of pizza before school, I mean, it’s pizza, what’s so difficult about pushing pizza? I ordered two slices of pizza and a soda, which came to $ 7 something. I give the cashier a $ 10 and wait for my change as he’s having conversation with his coworker about the music, yes, we all love breaks. Anyhow, he gives me coins and I’m stand there waiting for the rest of my change, he closes the register, then reopens the register and throws my $ 2 in the tip jar. WTF? I’m a server, regardless I was going to tip, but doing it on your own with my change, HELLARATCHET!

The best pizza with to-die-for sourdough pizza crust, the ultimate San Francisco treat! And you will not find nicer people who are always helpful. But don’t stop with just the pizza, their salads and pasta dishes are incredible too. Meatballs with melted cheese is insanely good!

We have regularly ordered delivery from this location, usually the lasagna, where I would have given them a higher rating: probably 4 stars. However, the last time we called, we decided to try the spaghetti & meatballs, and requested extra tomato sauce at the time of order. When it was delivered, there was approximately two tablespoons of tomato sauce atop a full order of spaghetti. Are you kidding me? After asking for additional sauce, and this is what we get? We had to supplement with some sauce we had on hand, just to enjoy the plate. Thank you, Paul Newman, for coming to the rescue with a jar of your marinara sauce!

Goat Hill Pizza was a definite pleasant surprise. So inconspicuous from the outside, who would have known that it could contain such delicious sourdough pizza? Goat Hill is a great spot for quick, cheap, and tasty sourdough pizza in the neighborhood. Slices of pizza are preheated quickly before you eat and they are delicious. The sourdough crust is thick, but baked just right with a crispy bottom. There’s also a nice selection of delicious sodas(Joia, Leninade, Stephen’s Boston Ginger Beer, etc) and beverages to accompany your meal.

Pizza was good. The sourdough crust was unique and delicious. I love goat cheese so of course I ordered Hilda’s favorite… it was yummy! My only problem was the late delivery… about 30 minutes late.

I had been boycotting Goat Hill for years after they supported the Occupy nonsense by giving the protesters free pizza, but I finally caved recently and I’m glad I did. Their sourdough crust is truly unique and always tasty. The sauce is nicely balanced, and the toppings are always plentiful and of good quality. Delivery is quick, they have a nice rewards program, and the prices are in line with other pizza places in SF. For delivery pizza in the Sunset, they’re hard to beat.

Let’s pay homage to the goat. Pizza made right. It’s expensive for some pizza but get individual slices. Good deals. The seating is good. I do wish the crust was thicker but overall great quality pizza. Grab a slice and keep it moving. Yeah. Awesome.

I came here thirty minutes prior to closing. They had a few pizzas at the window ready to be fired up and consumed by the slice. Among them were cheese, chicken with bell pepper/broccoli, and pepperoni. I decided to go with the chicken with broccoli even though it was the last slice, and who knows how long it has been sitting there. The thing that makes this place different from other pizza joints is their signature sourdough bread made from scratch that is in their pizza. Normally, my favorite part of any slice of pizza is the first bite, which is generally the triangular tip. However, I do have to say I was quite fond of the crust. It was crunchy, but soft at the same time. I would have to go with different toppings next time. Whether or not the slice was old, or just a weird combination of toppings, it did not really work. I would recommend this place, and would be more than happy to try it again!

Hands down one of the best tasting pizza’s I’ve had in SF … and I’ll tell you why… ;) The crust is thin but not super thin and the way they cook it the bottom is crunchy and the top is softer so when you bite into it you get that great combination of the two. When you see the toppings either 1 – 2 or many, it may look like there is not enough but in fact for the structure of the pizza, they add the perfect amount, I promise. The dough is sourdough, so obviously this makes it special and an SF original :) I always get slices, this way you can try new combinations and the price is great! Oh, also they have a rewards program where you sign up and give your # when ordering. The program gives you surprise coupons, so cool of them right?

I came here to treat my roommate to a pizza dinner for her birthday. The service is crazy good here, the pizza is delicious, and everyone is just so genuine here. My roommate unfortunately is allergic to pineapple and drank a drink with pineapple in it.(Dont worry she is not deathly allergic, her throat just hurts.) The staff was very gentle, kind, and responded quickly and even offered us another drink. It was really cute, my roommate isnt even dying to be honest. I think the manager even came to our table and personally checked to see if she was okay. Everyones so friendly and nice. Food is dank. Thanks guys. :)

Sour deal. Newest location of this local favorite. $ 3.50 slices featuring artichokes and tomatoes. Signature sourdough crust. Delicious deal.

Mediocre pizza by the slice. I ordered their pizza of the day and added a soup for $ 6.95 during lunch. Goat hill uses sourdough and their pizza are thinly sliced. It was reheated when ordered so I didn’t taste the freshness nor any flavoring I couldn’t find elsewhere. The minestrone soup that I added looked watered down(not enough red coloring like other minestrone). However, it tasted OK. Staff are friendly tho!

Incorporate a sourdough crust into a pizza and you just made it «more San Franciscan». The only other place in SF that I know of that offers sourdough crust pizza is Arizmendi Bakery. I LOVE Arizmendi’s pizza crusts because of the thin, crispy, and crunchy texture. So, after I heard about Goat Hill Pizza and their sourdough crust, I thought I’d give them a try. Yes, Goat Hill’s crust was thin and very crunchy. But the downside was that it was *too* crunchy. The crust was very hard/tough so I really had to use my teeth to tear it. Overall, the crust was dry and nothing special. Pizza by the slice is $ 2.50(cheese), $ 3.00(cheese and pepperoni), or $ 3.50(all others). They have a small selection to chose from if you’re coming in for only one slice. What I did find particularly interesting at Goat Hill Pizza was their selection of drinks. Ginger root beer? Butterscotch root beer? Absolutely unheard of. If I ever come back, it will be to try those funky drinks, not to satisfy sourdough pizza cravings.
