Joppa

I’ve visited this store a few times because the window displays sometimes show some promising apparel, but always walked out empty handed because the inventory is crap and the sales girls are even crappier.
Saturday before Bay to Breakers, I went to Stonestown mall at 10:20AM to get some last minute accessories for my costume. As I am crossing the parking lot, I am almost hit by a speeding car who’s driver clearly was not watching where the hell he/​she was going, and two teeny boppers dash out of the car, nearly stampede over me rushing to get into the mall. Al I could think was, those STUPID (much kinder words than I wanted to use in this review) girls and their stupid chauffeur for almost running me the F*CK over. But whatever, I brushed it off for a minute. But funny enough, those same stupid girls were actually the girls opening up the JOPPA store for the day, TWENTY FREAKING MINUTES after the rest of the store malls had already opened.
After hitting up F21, I went in to Joppa, even though those two stupid girls almost ran me over with their car and themselves, and opening up the store 20 minutes late (I don’t even know why, maybe I was foolishly thinking they’d redeem themselves somehow). I walk in, one of them gives a halfhearted «hi» before turning back to her conversation with her friend about weekend plans and which guy they want to make out with. I walk to the front and back of the store in two minutes without finding anything (as usual) but then I find a cheap necklace to go with my B2B costume. I grab the necklace, ask one of the girls how much, she tells me the price, and as I put it on the counter to pay for it, she walks away to the back of the store to start gabbing away again with her friend. They clearly saw me waiting at the counter, yet continued with their conversation. I’m waiting waiting waiting and finally called at them to come help me.
Aside from almost getting run over twice by these nitwits, this horrendous customer service is typical of JOPPA. I’d be shocked if this store lasted through the year with their current staff on hand.

My gf usually wanders into this store whenever we’re at the mall just to browse. Nothing against the clothes, but the staff compelled me to write a review about this place. They are ridiculous and unprofessional. Loud chatter and profanity at the counter, no greeting, no goodbye, no acknowledgement of customers whatsoever. Absolutely horrible staff.

Ugh. Joppa. Originally it was at the second floor where Aeropostale used to be but it’s been relocated to the first floor. The clothes there aren’t TOO bad. They’re cheap and if you look around you MIGHT found one or two cute things.
But the workers are horrible & unprofessional. I was in there today and it seemed like all the girls (Or at least 4 of them) were standing at the register talking. One was sitting on top of the counter. Literally. Just sitting there. They’re rude, & unprofessional. They don’t smile. unless they’re laughing at something one of their friends say.
I’d probably like the clothes a lot more if I felt comfortable shopping here. Which I don’t since I feel like the girls are just b*****es here that act like they’re better than everybody else.

This place is okay if you’re looking for cheap clothes. I bought some things from there. No returns or exchanges is the policy. I bought this one cute shirt, but I found out after i got it that there was a hole right under the armpit area. I was pissed. I’m just lucky that my mom can sew.

What happened to all the adorable clothes??? I was so excited when it first opened and now it’s just plain sad in there.
They now have ugly junk that no one wants.
But it did become a great place for plain monochromatic tees & yoga wear… :|

i miss aeropostale, now i have to ride in a car to get to the other nearest aeropostale which is far away. joppa has ugly clothes. i scanned the whole store and found one item i was willing to buy which was a panda t shirt.
EDIT: yay they have aero in westfield now: D

they piss me off, bitchass worker hit me in the head with a stick while i was looking at some clothes.
