I was at Fisherman’s Wharf and told myself since I was here might as well buy a charger (left it at home). How hard can that be right? This was the store closest to me. I entered and I asked one of the guys if they had a charger for my camera’s battery. He looked at the battery and said yeah, and sold a «universal charger» for $ 30.
I had two bars and wanted my camera to be fully charged the next day. So I plugged it in and left it overnight. I woke up to see that instead of being charged, the charger drained all of the battery’s power. I looked for my receipt since I planned on bringing it back. Guess what? Sales are final.
If you want to buy electronics or accessories that actually work, go somewhere else!

High pressure sales. Questionable products. Deceptive return policy. No customer service. Risky place to buy electronics. Avoid this place!!!

While on vacation in San Francisco, I stopped here to buy a charger for my cell phone (left mine at home). After seeing my phone, the guy knew immediately the charger I needed ($ 30). My friend needed a power adapter for a laptop as well (another $ 30). The guy behind the counter was also able to tell us the adapter needed immediately. The staff definitely gets credit for knowing their inventory well. However, despite fitting my phone jack, the charger did not charge my phone (just didn’t work!). We tried it on a different phone with a similar jack and it seemed to work on the other phone. But this doesn’t help my need for a charger. Also, the power adapter for my friend’s laptop didn’t work (but we didn’t know the right wattage and I assume he just guessed). We have not tried to return the items yet so I hesitated to give a review. But both products we purchased just «felt» cheap. They’re not selling good quality products. Today we purchased a power adapter for only $ 8 that seemed to be much better quality. There are 2 unanswered complaints against them on
