I ordered the«toasted» bagel with«salmon» cream cheese spread. They weren’t busy so I asked the server to toast the bagel medium. What I got was a warm bagel, not toasted at all, and a cream cheese spread that had a few green onions and nothing that I could identify as pieces of salmon. I returned it uneaten and asked for my money back, which I received after the manager was called in.

While rushing through the San Francisco airport to get to your connecting flight(and then finding out that your flight was delayed and didn’t have to even rush at all), Max’s E.V.O.O. Café is the way to go! The breakfast here is flavorful, and looks like it’s made fresh. They have a decent selection of breakfast foods, and decadent pastries(I stayed away from the pastries this time, though). The staff is here super friendly and kind; they understand great customer service. The lady who made my breakfast was fantastic and made me a delicious croissant sandwich with egg, and cheese; plain and simple yet delish! And my sammy was made in front of me, not thrown in a microwave to reheat something made from days before. I would recommend eating here over grabbing some microwaved«fast food»(unless you don’t have the time to wait a few minutes), as the food is wonderful(for airport food, of course!)

In an airport full of either pre-packaged salad options, or $ 20+ bistro salads, this little counter had fresh made to order options that while still not what one should pay for chopped vegetables in a plastic to-go bowl, was priced for those of us who aren’t used to Bay Area Pricing. Warmed sourdough rolls accompany your selection, so find a nook on any one of the well-designed spaces in the terminal and be grateful you killed at least one hour of your three-hour layover.

Most expensive chicken matzo ball soup I have ever bought. With tax it was over $ 10, BUT it was hot with plenty of veggies and shredded chicken AND two large matzo balls. It came with a warm sour dough roll. I am salt sensitive and was anticipating a salty broth, but it was perfect. Since we had a delayed flight, I earlier had the American breakfast. The scrambled eggs were pre cooked so they were just okay. They are not seasoned, so make sure you grab a salt and pepper packet near the register. The browned potatoes were very good-crispy and not greasy. I selected the chicken sausages for my protein. They were good, not too oily, and I appreciated the non pork/beef option. Overall good, albeit expensive airport food.

Wonderful and the cooks are pleasant to order with! I ate every bit of it! And the cook Tatiana was great made our delayed flight a breeze with her jokes and wonderful smile and great food! Would definitely recommend!

Thank you for having tofu options. Perhaps if we sub tofu for eggs we should not get charged an extra $ 1. That seems excessive. The tofu breakfast sandwich was excellent.

Still new and working out the kinks… but it’s better than most fast food stops in the terminal(including the Gordon Biersch!). They offer breakfast and lunch items– like semi-custom breakfast sammie’s and salads and lunch sandwiches. I loved the pastries… got a NY cheese pocket pastry. They also have a pot roast Sammie.
