I got the fish n chips and clam chowder for dinner before a flight. GODDAMN the clam chowder is god awful. It is the worst I’ve ever had. It just didn’t look good either. I think they have it simmering in a pot the whole day. Might have even been a few days old. The fish n chips were not bad though… Big portions. Big french fries. But, no tartar sauce. Instead, they give you a packet of ranch dressing. lulz. It is airport food. So I guess you can’t expect the best. The whole meal cost about $ 25. Thank goodness for meal expenses!

Worst burger ever! Ok it’s airport food but still! As you can see on the picture my burger has a ground beef patty and a slice of cheese… That’s it! And all that for 11 $, seriously!

This place is N-A-S-T-Y= NASTY. SFO terminal 1 is really lacking when it comes to food options and Willow Creek Grill just might be the worst option there is. I got a burger and fries which is pretty hard to mess up but somehow Willow Creek managed to do just that for close to $ 20.00. Not only was the food nasty but the seating area was a complete dump. Every table was dirty and there was nowhere to sit. No thank you on Willow Creek. Next time I’ll fly Virgin JUST so I can go to the better Terminal and have some decent food.

Bought a hearty breakfast here. I was enjoying my meal… until I saw a hair that wasn’t mine tucked deep into my omelet. That’s when I noticed the people preparing the food did not wear hair nets. I brought my tray back up, requested to speak with a manager, and explained nicely that a I found a hair in my food. He just slumped his shoulders, didn’t say anything more, and went back to customers. No apology, no offer to partially refund, nothing. I won’t be returning here again.

For all of the great food options in San Francisco, the Southwest terminal strikes out. Willow Creek is a mediocre, over-priced choice. It’s a below-average airport eatery that offers a lot of typical choices: burgers, pizza, sandwiches. I had a burger and fries and it was quite poor, but edible.

Meh for breakfast airport food. It’s cheaper than the option right next to it, but the American Skillet breakfast for $ 11.99 fell way short. The positives: * Staff is nice, eggs are cooked to order(so if you feel like eating something else than scrambled eggs — you can!). Negatives: * Home fries are not on the grill or cooked to order and may be sitting there for a while when you enjoy them. They are also, super, super salty along with the bacon. The sausage was tasty, but don’t expect anything high quality. All in all, if you’re looking for what would be an A-OK breakfast if not for the egregious amounts of salt that were used in the skillet I consumed today, Willow Creek may be an OK option! * Oh a bottle of water is $ 3.75? Eeek! Airport prices, I guess!

The condiment section was freakin nasty. The ketchup tray was leaking rotten ketchup all over the place. I thought it was syrup, but it wasn’t. All the individual packets were stuck together. I made that aware to the employees, she told me to dig around for a good one. I told her it was both trays. She just looked at me and said«I don’t know»… Screw this place!

This place is great! I’ve eaten here twice when traveling back from SFO. After being pissed that I have to be in terminal one, this place is a great pick me up since their pizza is fired in their on-site oven. I don’t know about the other menu items but the pizza is pretty awesome and fresh. It’s expensive but isn’t all airport food?

If you’re in Terminal one it’s not like you have a whole ton of choices. There’s this place, a deli-ish place with a similar menu and an «Asian fusion» restaurant. I picked Willow Creek solely because they had the most customers. It’s airport food. If you have the time, eat beforehand. If you can wait until you get to where you’re going, eat there. If you have to eat in this terminal, well… it’s food. I had a ham and cheese sandwich that tasted primarily like«the grill needs to be cleaned». On the plus side, the employees are nice and really hustle to get orders out as quickly as possible. It’s overpriced of course, but it’s in an airport so it’s not really fair to complain about that.

Workers are friendly and food was prepared fast. Overly priced but I wouldn’t expect anything less at an airport. Mediocre tasting food. I had the clam chowder in a bread bowl and wish I would’ve ordered something different because it was very disappointing. Very watered down and too many potatoes ew. I also got the pasta salad which was very bland.

Ask for extra pickles, they are complimentary. The pickles are the lighter colored spear pickles too… the good kind. I noticed that little tidbit on the writing décor on the wall in the table area. Don’t waste your time on garlic fries, they are nasty. I’m a big garlic fan, but why they offer these in an airport, when people are about to board a plane, is beyond me. I’m serious, I had one fries that wasn’t even near a chunk of minced garlic, and I was tasting garlic for hours. It’s a good thing that I don’t like chatting on a plane anyways. I waited in line and asked if I could exchange the garlic fries for the cheaper regular fries and the man in the serving area graciously replaced them. I was willing to pay but when he seen me holding the box, he asked what I needed. That was nice. The clam chowder in a bread bowl looked awesome, but I went with the turkey burger and it was bigger than what I expected. It’s airport food, what do you expect?

This appears to be one of the few(if not only) takeaway places in the Southwest terminal, as there are only a few other sitdown restaurants. The value seemed good — $ 10.95 for a big, warm club sandwich that came with a side of fries or coleslaw. But the actual sandwich wasn’t great. They left out the mayo, which I noticed when I was already on my flight, and it was too salty. At first I thought the saltiness came from the bacon which was thick and nicely cooked to a hearty crunch, but when I took out the bacon I realized it was really the ham and turkey cold cuts that were too salty. The coleslaw tasted strange, like it was not fresh, but it didn’t make my stomach hurt so I assume there wasn’t anything wrong with it. I could only eat a few bites of the slaw. The good thing is they were pretty quick(less than 10 mins to get my food). They also have a good selection of grab-and-go sandwich and salad items.

Shortly after eating here on the way out of town, my credit card info was used out of state. We were able to narrow it down to this place being the culprit because my card was brand new so it had only been used one time prior to the trip, and 2 other people I was traveling with also had their info stolen. The only place all 3 card were used was the Willow Creek Grill. AVOID, or if you must eat there, pay cash.

Not many choices in the SWA terminal. Food was just okay(pizza), as one would expect when you look at the place… Service isn’t great, by any means. If you can, grab a bite before getting to this terminal… Other terminals have much better selections.

I have low expectations for airport food since it’s usually too expensive for very mediocre food. I grabbed a quick breakfast here before my flight home after a long weekend in the Bay Area, and was pleasantly surprised. Not saying it’s gourmet or amazing, but it was satisfying. I got the all-American plate, which comes with scrambled eggs, choice of sausage or bacon, toast, and potatoes. All for $ 11, not bad. You get plenty of food too– 3 sausage links, plenty of eggs(a little dry, add some hot sauce or ketchup), 3 pieces of toast(half pieces– wheat, too!), and a healthy scoop of ‘taters. Food comes out quickly(there weren’t many people in line though) and if they see you waiting, they’ll ask what you ordered to try and get you fed.

Stopped by the shortest, quickest line for food before our flight back home and ordered a California burger with bacon, mushroom, and bleu cheese. Hold the jalapeño and onions please! Nice crunch on the bun, the bacon, and the fries. Overall nothing soggy… Just the way I like my burger and fries!

This place wasn’t super terrible. Overpriced… yes! But it wasn’t too bad… Had bacon and cheese omelet it was pretty good. Really big as well. The potatoes(they called it fries on the menu) were great. Well at first I was surprised because I expected fries, but it was very flavorful. My man got the ham and cheese which was also good. I believe we paid around $ 10 for the plates. Pretty expensive, I know. The place was super busy but I was happy that we were able to find seats. Yay! For other Items on the menu, you can see the fresh salad being made into the plastic trays(Fresh for now… but for later???) and there was pizza in the brick oven… Interesting! Not bad tho :)

Willow Creek is in a good location and has lots of tables, but it is a mess. This is not your place if you are in a hurry and the food isn’t great. The price is outrageous. If you need a table, walk down to Klein’s about 50 yards away and then come back to the table. At Willow Creek, they cook your food after you order. THis means it takes forever. I waited over 20 min for a hot ham and swiss sandwich with coleslaw. That is a long time at an airport. THey had no cookies or anything. THey sell Snapple and bottled water and soda. THey also cook pizza fresh– but again, it takes a long time. And costs alot. I am surprised with how many sandwich places SFO has, but it is easy money.

There are airport experiences and then there are airport experiences! If you are in a rush don’t go here. If you want a vegetable omelet don’t go here. If you want a burnt roasted croissant, go here.(posted burned croissant) With so many good restaurants at SFO it is surprising how Willow Creek can be so bad. Save your time, money and taste buds!
