Best beer selection in terminal 3. Burger was good. Not great but good. Nice and fast service.

So we stopped here on a long unexpected layover(thanks, United) in SF. It looks appealing, and we were quickly seated by a friendly greeter. We had arrived 15 minutes before they stopped serving breakfast, so we were given two menus. I debated between the ricotta griddlecakes and settled on the pub burger and sweet potato fries for about $ 16. My husband got the cubano with parmesan tater tots. He had a beer and I had water. Our food came out fairly quickly and was hot. The burger was basic and boring. Nothing special about it. I always get my burgers well done, and that was accomplished in a burned, dried out patty. The fries were average – nothing to rave about. My husband liked his cubano, but his tater tots were frozen tots with some cheese and probably parsley sprinkled over them. All-in-all, it wasn’t an overly costly lesson, and gave us a place to sit and kills some time. But it’s not a place I’d necessarily recommend in the airport, though places were limited in Terminal 3. You’re better off going there for the beer selection, and possibly breakfast(even with the small number of choices).

If I could give this bartender, Bernardo, zero stars, I would. It’s 10:20 pm and I sit at the bar, which is packed. The bartenders ignore me for a good 5 minutes. When I order my drink, I asked for a menu. Bernardo brings me my $ 17.99 Old Fashioned. I asked again for a menu and am told that the kitchen is closed., and then I get attitude, with the statement«You came late.» I mention that had I had control over landing earlier I would have made sure to not be here late. Another customer is finishing his meal, and asks another bartender for a cup of ice, if he doesn’t mind. The bartender replies that he DOES mind, because last call was 5 minutes ago. Seriously? Doesn’t matter how good the food supposedly is, they can keep it. Along with their crappy attitudes.

3.5 stars. Nice seating, sat at the bar and watched some sports to pass the time during our layover. The food, was a good honest try, for the airport. Avoid the banh mi, it was not good, it was basically a pulled pork hoagie but I was able to eat it… mostly because I was starving. The parm tots were decent, nice and crispy. Bf’s burg was decent… he finished most of it. It smelled great — def. flame grilled. He said it tasted really good… and standard burger. Not much else to say, service was friendly, and they have charging outlets for electronics. I would stop again if in SF airport if I had another layover over an hour for more substantial meal other than fast food.

Looking for a place to eat breakfast on Terminal 3 and I landed on this joint. I was already delayed with my flight for 3 hours so I was hungry and looking forward to a good meal. I had the omelet with friend potatoes . Food was good however service is super slow. Atleast there’s a decent place around Terminal 3.

Terminal 3 does not really have great vegetarian eating place options. Salads is the best you can hope for at this place(grilled cheese does not count as a meal if you are an adult). Their house salad was good — reasonable size for $ 8.99(add an avocado for an extra $ 2.99). Draft IPA was $ 8.99 — guess ok for an airport. Pleasant hostess and the place was remarkably quiet on this Wednesday around 7:30 pm; glad decided to kill my 2 hours here instead of the United lounge. The only remarkable thing I might add is that their house salad had sliced«watermelon radish» — quite exotic and a first time for me(see pic). Definitely tastes like radish.

Seriously, how do you screw up a burger at a gastropub? Hated the burger and hated the beer too. 1 star for lots of electric outlets and comfortable bar stool. Helpful servers too. Will avoid this place next time.

The location is pleasant and spacious, the views of the tarmac, airplanes and runways are great. There are no TVs yet, perhaps on my next visit there will be some. At $ 15.99, the Pub Burger that I had tried seem to be overpriced, but it is worth a try. It was perfectly cooked at medium, and it was tasty! I love burgers, I know burgers. There is an amazing selection of draft beers and service is friendly; I can’t complain. So spending $ 25 for a quick meal on an hour flight delay was not so bad for me at all. I must mention, there are power outlets under or close by each table to power up your iphone. Burger + views + service + beer + power outlets, I’m sold, 4.5*

We had a delayed flight and chose this restaurant to hang-out in. Best feature: Lots of electrical outlets to plug-in your devices. Another plus: I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to order the chicken matzo ball soup at a nearby kiosk. The waitress was totally okay with this. Of course I ordered a glass of wine and a salad too. Plus my family ordered food and drinks. Still, she could have said«no.» The salad was average, but more than the typical garden salad. It also was good sized and could have been split between two peeps if you order something along side. My daughter had a burger and ate every last morsel. She enjoyed it very much. Hubby and daughter ordered salads as well and were happy with their choices too. Clean and prompt service.

Not bad, but not great. Small menu, big beer selection. Food is decent, but nothing special. Service is usual airport service-quick and disconnected(«will you just hurry and eat and pay me» type attitude) Ambiance is comfortable and bright and the place is clean.

I was very pleased to find something other than over priced fast food when I consulted the Unilocal for noms in the SF airport. They’ve done a great job with the ambiance in their little space, if you sit in the back you can almost imagine you are in a trendy little place in the city. Ok, we know the prices are going to be rapey because it’s in the airport and it has«Gastro Pub» in the name so I won’t even bother talking prices. Let’s jump into the food. I had the crab tots which weren’t what I was expecting but they had a delightful crunch and texture-they flavour was tasty but the dipping sauce was heavily salted and it unfortunately overpowered everything. My companion ordered a burger with parmesan tots and those tots were so so so good! She also had a salad that came with caramel corn on it and oh my was that tasty too. We each ordered a cocktail of the specialty menu and woowee were those strong-one will get ‘er done! Ok-brief talk of price here. The mixed drinks are $ 15 each, that was more than my food! Rip roaring strong or not — it wasn’t worth that price. Then we come to the service. Luckily I read the reviews before going and knew I had a few hours to kill because the service is just as slow as everyone says it is! You may as well curl up after your meal and take a nap while your waiting for your check… I can’t say that I will go back but if I do I’ll be more prepared next time.

Just ate here, yuckkkkk. The oil they used tasted rancid and tainted everything, the toast, bacon, hash browns, eggs. Service friendly. Avoid. walk further into the airport and eat at other places. Previously we ate at Mission restaurant, delicious.

Very sweet server! She was very helpful and nice! Food was great! All the food was delicious! Menu was a little strange but straight forward when you see the tabs on the bottom. Few food options but what we ordered was delicious!

Came here during flight delay. Pretty average airport food: — slow service — sloppy burgers(way too much secret sauce) — tasty sweet potato fries — friendly waitstaff

Second visit. Experience the same. Food is great concept, good execution but service is waaayy too slow/amateur for an airport restaurant. Not as much a fan of the tater tot hash as I had hoped… crab omelet delicious.

Nice to see some new food alternatives in T3! I’m the renovated section near gate 70, quick service(then again there place was almost empty), decent pub food although the quantity left me a little hungry. Also somewhat pricey compared to similar places(without the cool atmosphere I must say). Will need to try again for a better judgement…

Solid tap and bottle list even after only being open a week. I had the Cubano and the pork was delicious, the cheese melty and gooey and the sauce well seasoned. Crispy garlicy tots went great with a couple IPA’s. Fiancé had the chicken Caesar and said the chicken was perfectly cooked and well dressed. This might be our new preflight go-to when heading out of Terminal 3.

Friendly service after a bit of a wait to be greeted after seating. The views of the gates and the planes are exceptional. The beers on tap are the main attraction here. Many I have heard of and even more I haven’t. The lunch/dinner menu had pairing suggestions for all of the menu selections. The menu content itself did not lead me to a natural conclusion on the genre of the food offerings. The descriptions were all good but nothing really called out. I asked the person who sat me what he recommended and rather uninspired he suggested the burger. I accepted his suggestion but I don’t know if it was a genuine suggestion or not. I ordered the garlic Parmesan tots with my burger… looks like regular tots with garlic fry fixens… tastes tastes that way too… almost like an afterthought. Burger featured Swiss and bacon with lettuce and tomato on a brioche style bun. Overall tasty but not«knock your socks off». The service experience could be better, the views and design aesthetic of the location are great and the food is not bad and certainly could be a better option. I will try them again another time. Pace of service for an airport seemed a little slower… but if it improves the product and it is reasonable that doesn’t bother me… just plan accordingly. The system they have deployed is very cumbersome when it comes to closing out a check. The employee hands the customer a handheld credit card machine after swiping… then the customer enters a tip. Then everything prints and you sign… seems very disjointed… not a reflection on the service at all… just not the smoothest way to complete a transaction.

A Very Upscale«bar/restaurant» within the SF Airport. The service was terrible. I was one of only(3) souls in the bar area, and it took over 10 minutes to get served. Wasn’t at 6pm or 3pm. No, at Noon, no service, no patrons. Upon being in that terminal again in the future, I won’t try again.

This new renovated section of Terminal 3 just opened yesterday and there are a bunch of new spots here now! We came here for dinner while waiting for our flight and it was possibly the best airport meal I’ve had. We had the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries($ 15), which was very flavorful and crispy. My favorite was the gumbo($ 10) which was slightly spicy, very delicious, and came with rice. And a side of garlic tater tots because, duh. Didn’t have a beer, but they have a great selection. Our waiter was very nice and I’m sad we have to have a flight to come back. But maybe we’ll actually get to the airport early for once just so we can have dinner here again!
