I have been going to Nancy for a haircut and color ever since I moved to San Francisco, which was in 2003. I think she is fabulous, and a very nice person too.

Nancy has always been amazing with hair color and I’m now even more excited about getting my hair colored by her. She researched and found a fabulous high-​quality, European, certified eco-​friendly color line, which looks and feels natural and healthy. So, I can cut down on the amount of chemicals I’m putting into the environment while still being the fun redhead I want to be!
For me, the best part of the color — I no longer nearly pass out in the shower from ammonia fumes the first time I wash it, and it doesn’t burn or tingle while the color is going on. The whole process feels healthier for me and definitely better for the environment.
Not only is it environmentally friendly, but compared to other standard color lines, I’m actually equally or even more impressed with the quality of this new color. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. After 7 weeks, it had faded a little, as all color does, but it was still quite shiny. I found with standard color that it would dull disappointingly after a few weeks.
Plus, the best part is Nancy herself. She loves color & listening to what you want and picking the right one for you. She believes in the environment and high-​quality products. I’ve been going to Nancy for about 7 years now, so definitely can recommend her.

Her hours are slightly unusual, but very useful for working professionals — she has appointments all day Saturday & Sunday. Plus, all day Monday and Tuesday, including after-​work evening appointments. Closed Wed-​Fri.
