I recently purchased a bottle of $ 25 Aquinas Chardonnay which proved to be totally undrinkable. Both my husband and myself agreed that there was something really wrong with the wine. I attempted to return the bottle minus the couple of ounces that we tasted and was told by the store clerk basically that no one had ever complained about the wine before and that he could not exchange it for something else or give me my money back. Just a warning that O’farrle’s does not stand behind what they are selling.

Quality, clean, decent prices. Also some goodies for travelers. And snacks for revelers. Beers for tipplers. I could keep going but you get it. Sounds like you go here for your suds & vino before you go anywhere else.

This is, by far, the CLEANEST and most well-organized liquor /convenience shop in all of San Francisco. The way everything is arranged demonstrates higher-level thinking and stands out big time. Lots of space between isles, neatly arranged products and a nice, cool temperature are added bonuses. But to go even further, the doors open with remarkable ease. It’s amazing that when you add up the cleanliness, the organization and the function of the establishment, it really has an impact on your perception. Really nice people work here, too. In my opinion, this should literally be the model liquor store that sets the standard. If the owners are reading this, thank you for keeping your part of the TL picture perfect.

A little on the cramped side and from the outside it might look sketchy. However they have decent beverage selection, that’s reasonably priced and the folks working are not grouchy bastards like some of the liquor store places in the area.

Good«corner» store, Omar and his cousin do a good job running it and keeping it stocked. They have a microwave if you want to heat up any of the treats you just bought. Full stock of ice cream, lots of alcohol, though it’s a bit pricey, and every day goods. The prices are a bit less than most corner stores and Omar keeps me smiling when I stop by.
