Solid Thai place on Valencia. I came here for lunch with my sister, and we ordered two lunch portions. I got the pumpking curry with rice, vegetable roll, and Thai iced tea. The pumpkin curry was good with the right amount of spice, and the portion was really filling. I don’t have much else to say about this place besides the portions being a good and filling size. The environment is intimate with darker lighting. I can imagine it gets pretty busy for dinner since everything on Valencia has a wait!

I order my food to go without vegetables. I got home and it seemed like it had extra veggies! I’ve sat down and ate at the restaurant and had a couple good plates and a couple not so good eventhough I order the same stuff everytime. It’s such a bummer but it’s the only place open throughout the day close enough to my home, so that’s why I keep coming back. Would I recommend it? Yea if you’re hungry and there’s nothing else eat. Pros: seems to always be clean, the portions are HUGE and they have lunch specials. Cons: food will never be consistent, I guess different cooks?

Came here on NYE as plan B. Ambience: Place is trendy and very nicely decorated. It was pretty empty when we went but the few people there were in their mid 20s to early 30s. Service: Nice and attentive. Food and drinks: Calamari was okay… I am still stuck on the calamari at Spice(in NYC). We had the Pad Khee Mao with salmon and vegetables. I was disappointed that the salmon was breaded, not my style. Overall the dish itself was quite flavorful, but just not the best Thai place I have been to. Their lychee martini was quite yummy. The presentation was fancy. It was a nice a place but not one I would be dying to return to if I were to go back to SF.

The vegetarian egg rolls were great. We received our appetizers quickly and our drinks were refilled often. Our wait to receive our meal just took quite some time. I think we waited 40 minutes. It was a busy night and we weren’t in a rush, but we seemed to have been forgotten. I don’t think that’s common though and the meals were really good.

Terrible experience at this restaurant. We are currently in the ER! My wife specifically asked for no nuts or seafood in our dish. She has to make this request because she is allergic to tree nuts. This is what we do at every restaurant. The first thing she bites into is a cashew nut in the noodle. We had to rush out of there. I asked to speak to the manager so I’m awaiting a call back from Allen. The server denied that we requested this. Are you serious!!!

Great food and nice clean interior, very welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the volcano beef, very flavorful dish. They use hangar beef, so it was a little tough. They should have went with diced rib eye due to the tenderness of the cut when it is stir fried. I feel like hangar beef needs to be grilled in ordered to get the highest potential of its cut. Disappointment is that I specially told the server I didn’t want bell peppers due to my stomach reaction is let so well with bell peppers. Yet, there was bell pepper in my dish and she never came back to check. I received my rice way before the dish came out and unfortunately my rice got below room Temperature, so I couldn’t enjoy it very much. Over all the place is too bad, I’d come back whenever I feel for Thai or when I’m around the corner. Thumbs up !!

My boyfriend grabbed several dishes from Osha for takeout. I don’t know what all of them were, but the Ginger Beef stood out(thick pieces of hearty meat, deliciously flavored), as well as the Pineapple Curry(the container was labeled«Golden»).

Restaurant has a great vibe and reliably high quality food. For the number of times we’ve visited this Location we were treated with attention, politeness and respect. They offer a variety of dishes, most of them are pretty traditional but there’s also a few modern modifications. Place is nicely designed and is decorated like a lounge with a soft light and music. Their chairs design deserves an additional attention. Come to check it out for yourself!

Good olé Osha Thai. Still standing after all these years and for good reason. They have consistently good food. I like the curries especially the Panang Curry with chicken but honestly all of them all good and don’t forget to get some of the coconut rice to go with that sauce. You are going to need it in order to make sure you drink up every last drop of the curry. The Pad See Ew Guy is great but not better than King of Thai. That is really all King of Thai has that is any good as far as I can tell. I digress. The Thai coffee is bomb and not too sweet either. I swear that Thai Ice Tea is a vessel for increasing diabetes. But I could be wrong. In the Mission downtown or wherever you are Osha is a solid choice.

This location is a kicker! Their female/male butt chairs were amusing to me and gave this location quite the personality in my opinion! Located in a lively part of SF yet the restaurant itself was not busy for a Friday night. That says something! I’ve been to the OSHA Thai location off of the Embarcadero and it was a much more delicious experience. Now, the Embarcadero location didn’t have great service either but the food was much better. Roti with Red Curry — The Roti was very oily. Probably fried for awhile because it was way too crispy to enjoy. The Red Curry was decent, not wonderful. Green Chicken Curry — This was my favorite dish of the night. Spicy yet delicious. Full of vegetables and chicken. Spicy Green Beans — Not tasty. Not good. Do not order. Garlic Pepper Sauce Prawns — Tasted strange but very flavorful. I wouldn’t order this again. Included medium sized prawns and garlic. Thai Fried Rice — It was so awful. BURNT. Smelled burnt, tasted burnt, was very burnt. They ruined it and still served it. Seriously? Definitely will not be coming back to this location.

Review is for takeout lunch. While Osha is regularly pretty expensive, their lunch combination is a great deal IMO. I got the combination with tom yum soup, chicken satay, and spicy eggplant chicken. The total was ~$ 12. The portion size was quite good for the money. It came with a small(think miso soup sized container, though 100% full) tom yum soup, that was pretty tasty and had a lot of vegetables in it. There were 2 pieces of chicken satay, which were a bit chewy, but well flavored; it also came with peanut sauce and pickled vegetables. The spicy eggplant was very good — garlicky Thai delicoiusness, though it sadly wasn’t spicy enough. Honestly, the food by itself is probably ~3.5 stars, but the value for the price makes it 4 stars.

Look, I’ve owned my own small business and I understand how a bad review can cause damage to a business… I don’t wish to do that! But come on OSHA! That was literally one of the worst meals I’ve had in SF. For starters, if you’re going to serve cocktails please, for the love of god, hire a mixologist and create something that actually tastes good and people will enjoy! As for the food, shame on you! Take pride in what you serve! That was literally foul! I’ve been in SF for two years and that dining experience was perhaps the worst in all my two years here! Lunch cost me almost $ 50 and I had to go someplace else to get something palatable. I work hard for my money and I’d appreciate it if an establishment cared to give me a quality product worth my dollar. The product that you served was totally unacceptable! I feel totally ripped off! And for christsake get rid of those appalling chairs!

I walked into here around 4pm. Of course, it’s completely dead. It’s awkward restaurant hour! I knew what I wanted and got it within minutes — the fresh spring roll with shrimp. Awful. I’m pretty sure it had one half piece of shrimp in the entire thing. They also had 1 to 2 chopped pieces of tiny tofu. The roll was thick as shit. The only thing that saved this roll was the super sweet and thick peanut sauce. This is so simple, how could it be so messed up? Also that set me back $ 10 which is RIDICULOUS. Service was really nice. I definitely won’t be coming here again, it’s way too expensive for way less quality than you should expect.

**3.5** What I really like about Osha is their spring rolls — they make it differently than most Thai places, and it’s so worth the price. The other menu items are not bad either(like their crab fried rice or drunken fried rice), and the portion sizes are quite large. I like this location better than the other ones in the city because it feels more sexy and modern, which matches their fusion style menu. Could be a good date night spot, if that’s what you’re looking for.

This place is not worth its price, and the food quality/taste seems to have gone downhill(or is it just at this Valencia location), and the portions are getting smaller. If not for the Groupon deal, I wouldn’t eat here. The volcanic beef, while it has a good flavor, is full of fatty(cheap) pieces of meat. The grilled sea bass, while pretty tasty as, comes in a tiny portion for $ 18. Something is wrong with the Pad Thai — I think they’re using angel hair pasta and are all stuck together. Décor is nice, food is mediocre, prices are too high. Surely there are way better and cheaper Thai restaurants in the city.

Though not a great fan of the appetizers, I really like their entrees. The crab fried rice is simply delicious and everything else is great too. The last time we went, the cocktails were really bad, tasted like artificial flavors. We told the manager about it and he was nice enough to take one of them off the check. So, maybe I’ll just stick to their entrees now.

Ehhhhh! Not another one of those restaurants were if you want to use the bathroom, you have to buy something… Some marketing stunt! I swear… Anyways, the restaurant is very inviting, with great art work pieces on the wall, and the presentations on tables is well kept, quite basic, with just a napkin and typical fork/spoon/knife. You’ll be treated either by a host/hostess with the common phrase, «Hello. How are you? May I help you.» And if the first thing you say, «May I use the restroom?» You can use, with one catch: HAVETOBUYSOMETHING! And it has to be a dish, appetizer, dessert, or adult beverages FOR21+ &UPDRINKS… Sodas does not count! Upon seating down, they won’t offer you water, due to the drought, if you’re thirsty, you have to ask for one. And browsing to the menu is a breeze, its slightly upscale, but prices is a tid bit affordable, almost all meals ranges in the upper $ 10+ range plus tax. And they give you great portions almost good for 2 people! Restrooms are located in the far back of the restaurant next to the kitchen, and its a unisex bathroom. Good for one person! Bathroom is well maintained, only thing thats lacking are those baby foldable diaper bed station thingys, if you need to change your baby’s diaper. Now back to the topic at hand, I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, which consists the obvious, pineapple… and. and… Comes with rice, couple tomatoes, couple shrimps, and hella rice… It can be a tid bit salty. Must be something with the sauce they marinated with. One last thought, they have all you can sit chairs that is well fitted for your glutes. It contours perfectly to the shape of your glutes, and its sofa king comfortable to seat on it… Reasons why I opt out on seating the wooden chair. I LOVE how my personalized chair hugs my butt! Definitely a must visit restaurant. Namm sayinn… Its so unique in so many levels! The seats are a great conversation starter! LOL.

Fancy overpriced Thai food. Do you have money just burning a hole through your wallet? If so, then come here. I’m a fan of their Heavenly Sea Bass, and I like their Bankok Roti and their Duck Curry. The thing is, it’ll cost you as much as $ 60 just to get full. I alone can eat 3 dishes since the portions are more sauce than food. Yes, it has flavor. But man, this place can even rip you off for the price of one of their Thai Iced Teas at around $ 5! Not my first choice for Thai, but it’s not an epic fail for the flavor of the food, they just have to lower their high price point. Because, even though they don’t have a gun, it is highway robbery.
