Sally is fantastic! Not only is she one of the more experienced acupuncturists out there, she will go the extra mile to make sure you get the quality care you need. She even came to my house to treat me when I was pretty debilitated after an accident. She truly cares about her patients and their well-​being and healing.
After many years of working with a myriad of acupuncturists, Sally offers a refreshing and humble but confident and seasoned approach. If you are OK skipping out on the fancy office experience and going to a local healer in her home, she is one of the best around. Trust me on this one, I have been on this healing path for over 2 decades now– she’s the real deal.

I’ve been going to Sally’s since 2010. First time I went there was because of my carpal tunnel. Due to my computer work, I got carpal tunnel on my right wrist. I went to Stanford Medical Center and the only solution for it was through surgery and the doctor said there was a high likelihood that it might come back again. Like everyone, I got shocked and was afraid. Thinking about surgery is painful and the thought about the same thing may come back again is just unbearable.
I went to Sally for acupuncture the very first time. I was afraid of needles — very much. But, they are better than knives. I didn’t believe that Sally was able to fix me. It was out of desperation. During my 5 sessions, the big bump on my wrist was getting smaller, smaller then completely gone. Whoa! And, Sally’s needles are the short version — unlike the scary ones from old Chinese movies.
Ever since then, I’ve been going to Sally’s for small fixes here and there: from shoulder and neck pain (from work), to headache, and to the after care for the sprinted ankle. Sally is always so calm and patient. The acupuncture sessions have the spa music on and are really relaxing. Yet, they are very efficient on fixing my problems.

I’m truly amazed by Sally. I’m currently a laundry-​list of problems. For example: damaged ankle from a bad fall in January 2014 that just won’t get better, extreme stress and anxiety due to the fact I’m moving from SF after 18 years of calling it my home and so many other things. After only 3 weeks of treatment, my ankle is finally getting better (and we’re talking about 50% better in such a short time), I feel as if I can handle the immense stress, and — most importantly — Sally has given me so much sage advice and counseling. So many of her treatments are unlike any acupuncturists I’ve seen to date — I’ve learned so much from Sally and I can’t recommend her enough. She is incredibly wise and experienced — always has guidance and knowledge that WORKS. I can’t recommend Sally enough. It should be a 10 star rating.

Sally’s great. She’s a no-​nonsense, thoughtful, and gifted healthcare provider and informational resource. She works well with people who are on allopathic regimens (i.e., you’re seeing an MD) as well as people who want to pursue non-​western health treatments. I appreciate that she’s told me what she can treat and what she believes should be done through my MD. She’s always pursuing additional study and updating her skills so she’s able to try different treatments for conditions that may not respond to the initial series of visits.

Sally has extensive experience and knowledge in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She is as kind as humans get and really takes the time to truly understand what needs to be treated. She is a talented healer… truly appreciated in SF.

I’ve seen Sally for many different problems such as tendonitis, colds, bronchitis, and allergies, over the last more than 20 years! She has also treated my partner and our 2 children with great results. You will no longer be skeptical about acupuncture after being treated by Sally. She is wonderful, and affordable, with a special rate for Kaiser members.

I have been away from San Francisco for 12 years but will be going back soon and one of the most exciting prospects about going back is that I will get to see Sally again. She is the best acupuncturist I have ever been to and is a true healer. She also has beautiful blue eyes as an added perk.

Sally brought me back to functionality after getting mean tendonitis and repetitive strain from using the computer. She really knows her stuff and will try different treatments until she finds the most effective one for you! Amazing results!

Sally has a great healing touch. She has been helping me with everything that ails me, from minor sore throats to sciatic pain and thyroid problems, she is always very thorough and theraputic. I have recommended her to friends who have raved about the changes she has made to their health. I highly recommend Sally to anyone who is having a health problem or just needs the holistic healing experience that accupuncture brings.

To put it in a nut-​shell, Sally changed my life. When I found her, I had been struggling with an immune deficiency for years and Western medicine had nothing more to offer me in terms of bolstering my energy and immune response (except for steroids – yuck!). I also was regularly getting migraines, and NOTHING helped the migraines.
I went to see Sally and within a weeks, I started to feel better – not so exhausted. Within a few months, I started to feel totally renewed, and the migraines disappeared. Not only did my energy increase, I was more motivated to eat better and exercise more, needed less sleep, and wasn’t getting sick! Now I go see Sally every two weeks for general health maintenence. I DO NOT GO TO THE DOCTOR ANYMORE! (as in MD).
Oh, and I only had ONE migraine last year (compared to weekly migraines before seeing Sally) and went to see Sally while I had it, and could literally feel it leaving my body once the treatment was underway!
Needless to say, Sally is a true healer; she has a gift.
I also appreciate her simple, casual office. Simply affordable, straightforward holistic care.
