$ 14 bottomless mimosas, a little pricey but standard in San Francisco, particularly Nob Hill, but they never kick you out, and the staff continue to keep your carafe filled at all times. They also use a fair type of bubbly that doesn’t leave you with the aftereffects of a headache I’ve experienced at other bottomless mimosa joints that use really cheap sparking wine. If you’re into garlic, they serve bread with garlic-infused dipping oil, with huge chunks of browned garlic floating around. Burrata on crostini with balsamic, cherry tomato, and oil is amazing. Served on a bed of arugula, the presentation is simplistic yet really lovely. Don’t waste your appetite on the minestrone soup. It lacks a lot of the usual ingredients, and is a bit pricey for the contents. All in all, a nice ambiance and really attentive staff.

Worst customer service ever… Was super rushed with the food order and wasn’t even cared for at all. As I was leaving with not leaving a good gratuity because the service was so bad, I was asked why I wasn’t leaving a good tip? Maybe some good service will lead to a good tip. The food was good but not worth the customer service.

Get the carbonara! Great food and attentive staff. We will be back next time we’re in San Francisco!

Would leave 0 starts if possible. One server decided he would poke me on the shoulder 20 times until I was essentially made to leave the establishment by him. He told me I could not come in a purchase a drink and then use the restroom after that. I realize it’s the weekend of an event in the city, but seriously do not put your hands on me and force me to leave your establishment when I’m willing to pay to purchase drinks.

So first things first… the service was great. Our waiter was very attentive throughout our meal. Drinks were refilled without us having to say a word. The appetizers and entrees were equally pleasing. I have never been a huge pasta fan, but The Fettuccine con Gamberi was delicious. The sauce could have had a bit more seasoning, but the prawns had a really nice flavor. After our meal, we ordered espressos and dessert. I recommend the cheesecake and tiramisu!!! Both were AMAZING!!!

Excellent prices, excellent food, excellent service. Another place we just stumbled into. We(my sister and I) were looking for something hot and satisfying after a very light lunch and this really fit the bill. We ate our pasta, drank our wine and went out in search of trouble. I loved the ambiance of the place. It was dark and pretty. Clean and comfortable. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. Oh! They have a huge bowl of hard candies at the host stand. I grabbed a handful on my way out the door. They came in handy throughout the evening(and next couple days… and still have a couple in my pocket come to think of it). :-D

I am a fan of this Italian restaurant. The service is usually very good, it’s never too packed which means you are always assured of a table. And it has a relaxing ambience. I usually sit by the window as it is good for people watching and airy, as they keep the windows open most of the time. The menu is Italian and American I would say. There are some good old fashioned options like steak, lamb and chicken dinners. My pick of those is the chicken with mash and seasonal vegetables. On the pasta front– they have unusual varieties that I hadn’t seen before. But it works. I tend to go for the beef stroganoff pasta. It sounds odd but it’s great. Also the spicy Italian sausage pasta. Once I was here I had butternut and red pepper soup as an appetizer, and it was one of the best soups I have ever had. Their bread is also nice– warm and served with pesto. This is close to 5 stars for me– maybe not quite there as it can lack that vibrant buzzy atmosphere at times.

We were supposed to go to swans oyester bar next door but they were closed. I’m kind of glad because we got to find this place! Packed with regulars and friendly bartenders. We had brunch with the salmon Benedict and bottomless mimosas! Good prices and good food. Definitely give it a chance!

Ok ambience and food. Reasonable prices. Tries to be authentic Italian but it’s not. I will not go back. The Mussels and Clams were good, but the Cod Picata was nothing special. I recommend the Ravioli ai Funghi al Pesto and the Tiramisu for dessert. Those were good.

I love the food here! It’s like a home cooked meal every time. It’s a few blocks from my place so it’s a go to for me. My favorite plates are the ravioli with portobello mushrooms and pesto sauce and the eggplant parmigiana… Very tasty and flavorful. The service is also awesome. I always feel welcome. Atmosphere is cozy and you can take large groups. It’s perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner.

We ordered for delivery last night and while the delivery was super speedy(borderline impressive speedy) the food was completely spilling and leaking through the cardboard boxes and in turn lost some of the sauces off our pastas. We ordered burratta, fettucini and ravioli all of which were mediocre. We all agreed that we’ve had better and would not return simply because the price point was way to high for the lower quality of food.

Having lived in the area for a long time and passing this place countless times, we finally decided to try it recently since we were in the mood for Italian. I had hoped to have a better experience but was disappointed. Free bread with dipping sauce(lots of garlic, olive oil) — both, meh. Ordered the veal scallopini with potatoes and mixed veggies — all were kind of bland, flavorless. Not bad, just not good. Wouldn’t go back for seconds if offered. My friend had the eggplant parmigiana and thought it was okay(not great) and it looked like they threw on a slab of processed cheese that you get in slices at the grocery store. Didn’t bother to try dessert based on how we felt about our entrees. Service itself was fine/good — attentive, fast. Our waiter was possibly new because it took him several tries to confirm that he got our simple order right. He meant well and was certainly trying to do a good job otherwise. Water glasses got refilled and they kept checking that all was good. Place is a little noisy if you don’t mind. It’s bigger than it looks from the outside. Homeless guy was loitering and asking for money outside the entrance when we came in which wasn’t so pleasant on the way to dinner. Perhaps this place is better for brunch or other things on the menu.

If in San Francisco again I would definitely come to this place. The Florentine Eggs is awesome. Also the bottomless Mimosa on Saturday brunch. One of the best breakfast I ever had. The service was great!

Looking for tasty Italian in our area, we stopped by here yesterday for dinner. There were several options without meat and a nice range of wines, including deals on house wines at the time(by the glass). We started off with bruschetta as an appetizer and while the tomatoes could have been a bit fresher, the garlic and basil on it made it pretty delicious. We then got our entrees, Penne al Matricciana(sausage and a white wine sauce), and Capellini Al Pomodoro(tomato sauce made out of fresh tomatoes). I also ordered a glass of the Zin, and we had a side of bread with a garlic oil sauce to dip it in. The servings were pretty generous and the waiters refilled our water glasses and were attentive and quick. The menu is a bit on the pricey side, I’d say almost a tad more than the quality warrants, but it’s still pretty good overall if you’re looking for Italian(pasta/pizza) in the area. One major drawback, we sat by the window which was open and had a homeless guy begging for change from us. While the fresh air and sun are nice, I’d suggest not sitting next to the open window if you don’t want beggers asking for money.

This is a good Italian restaurant. It has a nice ambiance, friendly customer service and a decent Happy Hour special. On the weekends, they serve brunch with Bottomless Mimosas. I really like their Linguine Carbonara. During my visits, the linguine was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was rich and creamy. I also like their Tiramisu. The dessert presentation was very good. The cake had the right combination of coffee flavor, creaminess, and sweetness.

Yes indeed. Name translates to «You will like it»: Was a bit skeptical after lunch. Enjoyed the chicken panini with bits of caramelized onions and a side of greens. Requested the red bell pepper aoili on side but couldn’t stop dipping. So good. Only the price wasn’t so good. For $ 12 plus tax/tip didn’t feel like it was enough. Was less skeptical after dinner. Huge plate of fettuccine mixed with a generous selection of assorted seafood in a rich tomato sauce. Loved the bread. Loved the dish even more. Consider it a deal for $ 23 at dinner but it’s a steal at $ 19 for takeout during the day. Became a fan at brunch. By itself the Polker with poached eggs topped with yogurt and guacamole sold me. More great bread included. Unique and outstanding. Totally worth $ 13. What lingers is the«sample» of homemade granola. Couldn’t decide between the two and very friendly server brought me a small parfait at no charge. Liked the granola. Loved the gesture. On both visits was lucky to sit at a table near the open window. Fresh breeze added to the relaxed and welcoming vibe in a nicely designed brick and wood accented high ceiling space. You will likely like it too.

I’m not an Unilocal fan, but what happened to me at this place it’s very disappointed and nasty. I came here to have dinner with my husband and can say that customer service from the waiter horrible. I ordered a plate and after waiting for more that 30 minutes he came up with other plate and insisted that I ordered it. After excuses, he brought what I ordered. No one asked how things were going or if we needed something. My husband finished his food before I did, so the waiter came to remove my husband’s dish and tried to remove mine too, so I had to tell him that I was working on my plate, that I hadn’t finished yet. We asked for dessert and for the bill. It’s the first time that a waiter spend long long long time with my credit card and I was a bit scared because he was not hidden behind a wall where the register was supposed to be. Few days ago, SURPRISE! I had to report my credit card because somebody was buying software and computer products online in a website called FRY’ and ADOBE. I’m not an internet buyer, so I keep my credit card well protected. There’s no evidence, but this is the only place where somebody, rather than me, used my credit card to pay the bill for me, and then awarded to us with this nasty surprise. I advise the manager or owner of this place to keep control of they hiring process and keep eyes on people who are collecting payment from clients, even more, update the payment process by using devices such as square cc in front of clients to prevent this unfortunate experience to their visitors. Hire people who likes his/her job, and don’t think that all visitors are tourist; we, San Franciscans, love our city and specially international cuisine and restaurants in general, and it’s a pity that I cannot recommend your service to friends or visitors. For visitors, keep your eyes widely open when other rather than you is in possession of your debit or credit card to pay your bill.

Came here last week for a work social; place is small, but still an enjoyable space for dinner. Had some bread, then ordered the corn chowder starter, pork chop(w/mashed potato & spinach) main course, and the tiramisu to end. While there was nothing that particularly wow-ed me, the food was flavorful and delicious. The portion does hit-the-spot, thought if you’re still left hungry, walk over to Bob’s Donuts 1 block away(btwn. Clay & Sacramento Sts.) or walk a few more blocks over to Lush gelato(btwn. Jackson St. & Washington Sts.).

The veal piccata was perfectly cooked, as were the veggies and potatoes. The vibe was lively and welcoming. I sat at the bar and the bar staff were the sprinkles on the cake!

I’ve sat at the bar at Ti Piacera a couple of times before and they’ve been passable experiences but weekend brunch just turned out to be a major disappointment. Let’s start with the good points. Service is friendly and they were great about refilling our mimosas. Yes they have $ 12 bottomless mimosas which is the saving grace for brunch. Drink up; you’re gonna need it when the food comes. Firstly, it’s big plates; little food. I ordered the TP Scramble and was a little surprised by the tiny portions. Move the bowl of butter and jam away, you get a little bit of scrambled eggs with sausage and veggies, a few potatoes with onions and red pepper, and one slice of toast. The eggs and potatoes really needed salt. Add insult to injury, the scramble was incredibly watery which in turn made the toast and potatoes soggy. Finally, when brunch couldn’t be any less depressing, I pulled out a long strand of hair from the scramble just when our server was refilling our drinks. I don’t normally care about a stray hair because shit happens but if someone working in the restaurant happens to stand over me when it happens, a little proactive action might have been nice. My friend’s burger wasn’t really good either. Whatever, drink up your mimosas and move on. Pity brunch was so lame. I’ve had bruschetta and the linguine carbonara here and they were at least decent although I love me a carbonara anywhere anytime. Might stay away from Ti Piacera for a while because there are just better options around.
