I will not comment on the price as I(luckily) have my own personal washer/dryer BUT my girlfriend does not and I’ve accompanied her to this laundromat several times and must say it is THUMBSUP. Always kept very clean, seems like there are always open washers/dryers, it’s in a nice, safe, quiet neighborhood, it’s well-lit at night and the owner is VERY responsive if you need to contact her. Machines are rarely broken. Magazines are nicely stacked in the corner if you want to wait with reading material. It has a nice neighborhood feel to it. I rarely see any ~strange~ people around.

We were visiting San Fran and found this laundromat here on Unilocal! We have never used a self serve laundromat before and their machines were so easy, fast and effective! And being tourists there was even detergent, fabric softener and bleach available for less than $ 1! But what really made the experience special was that we were there late at night and got to hang out with the wonderful Ida, the cleaning lady, who is a complete sweetheart and kept us company/helped us out! Loved our experience there!!!

Staying nearby for a few weeks and needed to get some laundry done. I went on a Sunday morning and it was pretty quiet. The machines looked new and were in good condition. I was able to easily get change. The washing machines cost different amounts based on size and settings. I was able to fully dry my very large load of laundry in an hour on the medium setting. If I need to do laundry again while in the area I will definitely be back.

New machines, reliable change machine, clean floors. What else can you ask from a laundromat? The missing star is due to low number of machines, Sundays can get crowded, and slightly higher prices. Since its in Russian Hill, it doesn’t have to complete on price because the hassle of carrying your laundry over a hill or across Columbus to the next laundromat over is too much work, but it is priced about a dollar a wash more expensive than the next couple of laundromats in the North Beach/Russian Hill area.

this has been my neighborhood laundry site since I first moved down to CA. My family has been using this since before it remodeled and redecorated. I adore the interior. The facility has been renovated with newer machines and still very powerful dryers as they have always had. I recall a couple of times when the machine ate my money. I filled out the out of order signage with a note and reported it to the management. Within days I received a refund in the lost funds from Deanna quite promptly if you ask me. Overall the area is safe and very well lit at night. The hours are great for any day and any time operation of needing to do laundry.

The washers range in price from $ 3.50-$ 7 based on size. I had two weeks of clothes and put it in the medium size washer with a $ 4.50 base charge. Based on soil and temperature settings, prices increase as well. So my $ 4.50 load went to $ 5 for medium soil(as opposed to light) and for warm(as opposed to cold). Each setting up is 25 cents more, so hot and heavy would be $ 5.50. Lol if that’s how you like it. Pros to this place are the hours for sure: 7am-10pm everyday. I think the paint on the wall is kinda adorable too, it kinda helps make laundry fun? Haha okay not really but the walls are fun. My washer took a quick 24 minutes. Then dryer is 25 cents for every 6 minutes. In total, my laundry only took like an hour!(not including clothes loading, soap loading, etc.) I was able to dry my load like 95%(maybe like one slightly damp sock), for 36 minutes! So they must have some powerful dryers. They keep some magazines in the front like Entertainment Weekly, Men’s Fitness, Vogue, Details, etc. And there’s 2 chairs in the front if you wanna chill there. The worker when I went was a friendly, very chatty Filipino lady. I don’t have much experience with Laundromats but I’d say this one was fine! Other pro tips: — I forgot my laundry soap, so they have 1 load detergents you can buy for 75 cents, and dryer sheets. — Coins only. Change available via change machine.

Exceptional customer service! My error led to me forgetting my clothes in the washer past closing time, right before I was to leave to travel! Their management not only answered my phone call during a busy holiday period, but were also kind enough to dry my clothes with the money I left them and hold on to them till I returned 2 weeks later. Phenomenally kind and very helpful staff. There is absolutely no price I could put on the mental freedom their trustworthy and prompt actions afforded me over my break — deserves six stars out of five! Thank you. And yes, washers and dryers are always perfect — I’ll continue doing my laundry here.

Five Star Quality Laundromat. Want to know how great this place is? A simple story will suffice: Last time i was in need of laundry, this place was crowded so ventured down to the Cable Car Laundromat on Mason and Filbert. That was a HUGEMISTAKE. I regretted spending my money there as my belongings came back slightly damped and still smelling like my dog. Here at Tons of Bubbles, you will get your moneys worth of washing. They have a variety of washing machines. There are four top loading washing machines, four small front loading washing machines, four medium front loading washing machines and one giant front loading washing machines. Of course prices vary according to the size of the machine you use usually ranging from $ 3.00 for small, $ 4.00 for medium ones and $ 5.25 for the large one. In addition, one cannot forget the standard dryers which cost $ 0.25 for six minute intervals. It typically takes 30 minutes for one washing cycle to complete, but the front loading machines are generally very powerful and make sure your belongings come out clean. They do as any laundromat must have a change machine which is often working perfectly without issue, a soap dispenser at a cost of 50 – 75 cents. Generally, it is often slow early in the mornings and sometimes at night depending on the day. It is a very nice laundromat allowing you to sit in one of the two nice little couches available there and some magazines for you to pass time. The maintenance lady usually arrives around 845ish at night to begin cleaning up the place and is very nice. This goes to show you this business knows how to keep its customers and remain an efficient laundromat. Another big plus side is that you can access a free WiFi onsite. Definitely a big plus during the times i had to do homework and study for class. Parking is generally difficult at night times so i recommend coming here in the mornings if your driving to this location as two hour parking is generally available early in the morning. Tons of Bubbles is awesome, its obviously customer friendly and if you ever get your money taken, just leave a note and you’ll hear from the owner. Give it a try, you wont regret feeling clean and knowing you spent your money well.

Nothing to complain about here. The size of the place is pretty average but there seem to be plenty of machines around. The washers range from small to medium($ 3.00 a wash) to very large($ 4.00 a wash), and the dryers are even bigger($ 0.25 per 6 minutes). There is a coin machine inside if you need it, and a small seating area with 2 chairs and a rack of magazines. The machines all seemed clean and well maintained, too, which is probably the most important factor
