I don’t really have much to say about this place. Their service is ok. A great thing they have going for them is that their chicken is fresh(it isn’t made until you order it). I had both chicken strips and fried chicken(leg and thigh) and they we super meh. They weren’t great but they weren’t bad, they were just… meh. I also had the Korean wings and I wasn’t a bit fan either, the wings were soggy instead of crunchy. The taste was a bit weird too. I also had the biscuit and it was pretty ridiculous at how small it is for the price. It’s also a mushy biscuit instead of a flaky one. I also ordered a pulled pork biscuit a while back and it just tasted like vinegar. Overall, I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back to this place, but if you wanna give a new chicken place a try, check it out, you might have better luck.

PERFECT hole-in-the-wall joint. Service was great, music, wings, E40 beer… perfect. It’s small in here but that doesn’t take away the quality of their food. Definitely a «must try» spot if u love chicken & beer

I’ve tried a lot of wings and after I tried wing wings I can’t go anywhere else. These wings are twice the size of other places and the sauces are so good and homemade. I love the regular buffalo wings and the angry Korean. It takes anywhere from 10 – 20 mins to get the food but it’s worth the wait because they make them fresh. Calling and ordering is a way to have it be ready when you want it. I’m very picky about the meat I eat and I totally trust these wings :)

After waiting 2 hours for our delivery we were welcomed to «dry rub» soggy yet dry wings. I could totally see the potential in their food but was very disappointed in the service and the quality of their wings. We ordered the dry rub and spicy dry rub and honestly couldn’t tell the difference in flavors.

Loved the variety of flavors and loved ordering through the Unilocal app. Made takeout super easy. Angry korean was my favorite but it is definitely not for the faint of heart. Bacon cheesy biscuit was also solid but a little small.

I came in here the way you’re supposed to! Late night and drunk as a skunk. We ordered the Angry Korean wings extra spicy, which was super hot. Holy crap. I just remember my drunk behind hee-ing and ha-ing and drinking water to relieve the burn. We also got an order of the dry rub which I really liked — perfectly limey and peppery and the wing wing, which to be honest I don’t remember what it tasted like and I wish we’d gotten the traditional buffalo sauce instead. How do you wash down wings? With chili cheese fries and a coupla biscuits. Good night! Overall, decent but not the best even though I was under the influence. Would I come again? Yeah.probs.

This review is a short review bc I only ordered their wings, original buffalo, and I’m a fan. I ordered a dozen and couldn’t finish more than 7 – 8 wings: great flavor, wings were juicy, and one of the largest wings compared to their competitors. Been here a few times and sometimes the wings are a bit overcooked and dry, but not enough to deter me to stop coming. They cook on the spot so be prepared to wait about 10 – 15 mins for your order. And seating is limited(less than 6 – 8 chairs).

After a long day of walking/shopping around SF my friends and I stumbled upon this place. Since we all love chicken wings(who doesn’t) we decided to give it a shot. First of all, it’s a small place. There area few chairs to sit inside, but it’s very cramped. We ended up moving to the benches outside to enjoy our meal. The young women who took my order was very sweet to us. I think she said she was the daughter of the owners, but I’m not sure. I ordered the 5 piece wings, half BBQ and half honey mustard for about $ 6.00. The sauces were a bit disappointing. The BBQ wings were okay, but the honey mustard wings weren’t very sweet tasting at all and the mustard was way too powerful. The chicken was cooked well, a bit greasy but I liked it. Didn’t like the skin on the wings though, for some reason it added a weird texture that I wasn’t too fond of. Side note: as stated in some of the reviews below there is nowhere to wash your hands! Any wing lover knows how messy chicken wings can be, I really don’t understand why they don’t at least offer wet wipes. Oh well.

Had the 4 piece chicken, biscuits, and chicken salad in a biscuit and this has to be up there with the best fried chicken I ever had. Pair it with the biscuits and you got yourself one fine meal.

I was strolling down the area when I had a sudden craving for wings. The place was small, but they had a lot of options. I got 6 wings in Dry Rub. I was tempted to try Angry Korean, but maybe next time. After waiting about 10 minutes, the wings arrived hot and ready to eat with a side of ranch(which I had to ask for). Flavor? Tasty. Almost home-made like. Definitely good! I prefer dry style wings versus sauce ones. Portions? The wings were huge! Lots of meat on them, which was a huge bonus. chicken wings are typically smaller, so this was a nice surprise. I was thoroughly content with them. However, some of the chicken was dry as not as moist as I’d like. Yup — I’m pretty picky with my wings, lol. Service was more of — order what you want, here’s what you get. If you’re expecting stellar customer service here, you’re at the wrong restaurant. If I ever have cravings, I wouldn’t mind coming here again! It’s definitely a good neighborhood addition to the Haight community!

Stopped by here for wings with a friend after going to the gym. We got: — Angry Korean wings — Spicy rub wings — Pulled pork sandwich The angry Korean sauce was very disappointing… not very angry and only vaguely Korean. It tasted like a super weak and sweetened version of gochujang The spicy rub wings were a bit better… but both wings were really really dry… definitely over cooked. The pulled pork sandwich was also very mediocre. It was subpar even for a late night wing joint…

It’s all about their chicken! Very delicious selection of food in a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this place!

Love me that dry rub. It would be funnier if I was a dude saying that, but hey, you can’t have it all. We ordered 4 boxes last night for the Warrior viewing party I attended and boy, oh boy, were they all tasty. Dry Rub was my favorite: salty, hot, flavorful. Buffalo came in second. Everyone in my crew loved the Angry Korean. We also had Honey Mustard and one other wing, can’t remember. But seriously good, check it out if you love wings and yourself!

Not good, not great, but chicken wings so… sure, I’ll get some if you’re already ordering from there. None of the wing sauces really come together for me here, there’s something fundamentally missing in each one(too tangy, too sweet, too weird, etc). They remind me of trying to make up sauces when I was cooking in high school. The wings(when we went) were cooked fine, a little chewy but not tough. That in itself is annoying, since a spot that only does wings should at least learn some technique(double fry maybe? A little brine perhaps?). Why three stars then? Because it’s wings and fries and shit. It takes some real fuckery to muss this up too bad. Are you drunk and hungry? Stoned and hungry? Wing Wings might, maybe, be an ok choice.

The roommate asked me what I wanted for lunch and I said wings! Being the lazy bums that we are, we decided to order through Postmates( ). It was Sunday, April 19th around 1:45pm. Wings(5 pcs) $ 6 ea: *Angry korean *Buffalo(hot) *Buffalo(mild) *Dry rub *Herb *Wing wing Eh. None of the flavors stuck out as being amazing. I guess the best ones may have been the dry rub and buffalo cuz they were simple. But the wings were overcooked and dry. The roommate loves wings too, but couldn’t eat more than one of the herb wings. Too green and didn’t go with the wings at all. Fries & Sides: *Potato salad($ 2) *Macaroni salad($ 2) *Coleslaw($ 2) *Gravy fries($ 4.50) *Chili cheese fries — we never got these The gravy fries were okay, but we were disappointed they forgot the chili fries.(At least we weren’t charged for them.) The potato and macaroni salad were palatable, buy the coleslaw was awful! Way too tangy and not much else. I ended up throwing it away. Sauces: *Hella hot($ 0.50 ea) x2 *Moombah($ 0.50 ea) x2 *Ginger jalapeño($ 0.50 ea) My understanding was these sauces were free. So why were we charged $ 0.50 each for them?! Really annoying. Not sure if it was postmates or wing wings fault, but this was a waste of $ 2.50. Ultimate wing fail. This didn’t satisfy my wing craving at all!

If «wings» is in your business name — your wings should be great. I think these guy’s specialty is sauce, not wings. The variety and sauces are good, but the wings are dry and lacking meat. I got an order of 20 with varying sauces. All the wings were over-deep-fried and dried out. Some of the sauces had good taste but without that sauce being on quality wings it’s pretty pointless. You could have put peanut butter and honey on these wings and it would still just be a shitty wing with ‘good sauce’. I’ve had much better wings from any Chinese or pizza place, including Domino’s. Srsly.

Vegetarian review ALERT! This place is so cute, & by cute I mean small! There are seats on both sides of this place, seating about 10 – 12 total. Other than that, it’s standing room only. It is one of the cleanest wing places I have come across, thought I’d throw that out there. You can hear the music from the club next door, w went here around midnight on a Saturday night(party animals, right?) The girl at the front counter is the cashier as well as prepares your food when it’s ready. She was super friendly! Knew a lot about the wings so she must be a long time employee. You can lightweight see the kitchen & they prepare your food when it’s ordered, FRESH! I ordered: — Buttermilk Biscuit: Fresh out of the oven, yummers! — Large Seasoned Fries: They are almost like wedges but not. So yummer! & again, fresh! My cousins had wings & those wings even made me drool just looking at them. Made me miss eating chicken for sure, lol. The club crowd started crowding in around 1ish, I will for sure be back :) Great find at midnight!

Solid fried wings, with a wide variety of sauces. If you’re looking for a fix, this is definitely a legit option. I’m kind of curious about their regular fried chicken now… However, *avoid* the fried oyster mushrooms! They taste like over-fried under-salted bland bits of batter. Whatever essence of mushroom existed at one point had long since left the box I was given. If you’re looking for some tasty shrooms, head on over to say, RN74 for some awesome maitake action. p. s. Ordering online is a bit of a crapshoot if you are looking for freshly fried wings to pick up and go; the site gave me an estimate of 10 – 30 minutes, so you may be better off calling instead for a more reliable estimate. I don’t think they started my order til I walked through the door, and it took them roughly another 10 minutes to have it ready.

Looking for a delivery place on a lazy weeknight I discovered that we were at the very edge of Wing Wings delivery area. Off to a good start. Online ordering made this an easy option. We went with 2×10 wings so that we could try 4 of the flavors. Angry korean — This got a lot of hype in reviews so I felt compelled to try it. I don’t think it lived up to the talk. The flavor was above average, the spiciness was less than expected and it was in general very wet. Not really my style. Herb — This sucked. Looked like it had a layer of pesto out of a jar slapped on to it. Poor taste, poor texture. Skip this. Dry rub — This was better than expected. It was crispy and had a nice balance of salt, pepper and spices. If it were not for the fact that the Wing wing sauce was so good, I might actually order this again. But I probably won’t. Wing wing — As stated, this was by far the best one. A little spicy, a little sweet, a good amount of soy and a little wet, but not too much to kill it, this was delicious. I would not be surprised if this is the only flavor I order from this place in the future. I’m not sure that I would ever get this while on Haight, given the great options in the area. However this will definitely be a recurring option for delivery.
