LAN, the facial specialist, was so much better than expected! She definitely showed her years of experience in the work she did. She is one of the best if not the best facial experience I had. Spectacular!

They seem to have lost most of their staff recently and my last manicure was rough. The older woman who works there does great pedicures but that’s about it.

Eyelash Extension I just had my eyelash extension done here yesterday. So far, I love it! :-) Tina was very professional and applied my eyelash extensions beautifully. After the procedure, Tina explained the after care for my eyelash extensions which I find really helpful since this was my first time to have it done. The place offers other services too like manicure/pedicure, facials, hair services, etc. I would definitely recommend this place!

I’ve been coming to this place every other week for the past 3 months. I always walk in and have never waited more than a few minutes. They have good service. I now ask for Vivian after a few perfect manicures by her. She is detail oriented, efficient and always asks if I like things and happily changes little details that bug me :) I have tried most of their manicurists and they’re all decent. It’s not a high end place and has its flaws… But I give it 5 stars because it’s clean and cheap and they do a good job which is what I look for when I do my nails.

Used a Groupon for my first time here. I came here for a mani-pedi with express massage and it was wonderful. This salon also does hair and facials Vivian and Lan did a good job. I would recommend going here especially if you live or work in the area.

It is usually the luck of the draw but I got lucky with Kim! Great hair cut. Discouraged me from making it too short and she was totally right. Fast and professional cut. $ 15!

I always come here for a gel manicure because it is so affordable. The ladies really take their time and try to make it as nice as possible! I cant stop staring at my nails after I get them done here. I recommend vivian!

I am a creature of habit and so I tend to go to places that I know are reliable and near my apartment. I have been coming here for the past three years mostly to get my gel nails, almost every 3 – 4 weeks or so. They are the cheapest place for gel nails(20 bucks!) and can do a great job in not too long of time. I occasionally get my eyebrows and legs waxed here too and for the most part, have had a good experience in this department. I got a pretty bad eyebrow wax from someone who I never saw there before(and haven’t since) which made me a little scared to do that again, but ever since… no problems. yes yes, they can be a bit busy sometimes but for the most part, not packed and if you get a mani-pedi, two people will be working on you at once.

I love the lady named Amy Tu here. She gave me the most thorough and most elegant manicure and pedicure I can ever get. Highly Experienced and professional. She is also very careful when cleaning up my dead skin around my cuticles and pushing back the excessive cuticle to keep the shape of my tails clean and wide. She is someone I can close my eyes to relax and wait for wonderful outcome when I wake up.

I get my haircut here with David. He is good, quick and accommodating. He is on point with how my hairline is and gives good advice on what to do with it. Been getting a cut with him for a few years now.

So let me preface this I cannot comment on their actual services. Because as many times as we tried, they didn’t actually get to give us any service! We had bought a Groupon and had called three separate days to try to make an appointment. First we had called to make an appointment the following week, and then when we called they didn’t really answer the phone like it was a business, all they had said was hello and when we asked if it was the business, it was kind of unsure but we figured out that it was. Then they said they made appointment for us but when we had called back to try to reschedule it nobody had known about the appointment so it was like we had never even called in the first place. So then we had made another appointment. Or at least, so we thought. On the day of we were running a little late so we had called and said that we would be there about 30 minutes to 45 minutes late and asked if that would be okay. When we called again this time, they still acted like they weren’t a business when they just answered the phone but said that it would be okay. And then! When we got there, there is only one person in the whole place, doing nails, already on somebody else! We told her that there were two of us, and when she’s said that there was nobody there to do the nails, we told her we had just talked to her on the phone, and she said that when she talk to us on the phone she said that there was no history of any appointment, and that she would not be able to do our nails today. Obviously that is different from what we heard on the phone. We ended up just returning our group bonds because who knows when they would actually be able to give us our mani pedis!

Very bad and painful manicure. My fingers are not that sensitive but she over used the cuticle solution and was very rough filing. I previously had a gel manicure and she didn’t completely remove it, leaving a bumps under the new nail polish. The color I had chosen was very streaky even after four coats so she had to remove it and chose another polish for me. She turned the dryer off on me too soon and put an oil solution on my fingers. Less than a minute out of the salon the polish began to come off.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon with my friend to get pedicures, after eating delicious phở across the street at Kevin’s Noodles. This shop is a few doors away from another nail shop, Sunset Nails, but my friend and I decided not to go to Sunset Nails because they have a sign there that says they only take cash tip, and we only had credit cards and a little bit of cash on us. We got seated in the spa chairs right away and enjoyed the massage chairs. They were somewhat busy so one lady started working on my friend first while I waited for 20 minutes. I enjoyed the massage but did not like the way that they set me up for the pedicure. Usually when you go to get a spa pedicure, they let you put your feet in the water and then let the warm water go, and the little jets bubble on your toes… It’s usually so enjoyable. At this place, however, they do something strange where they put a plastic bag in the part where your feet sit. Then, they let the water run only long enough to fill the bag up, turn the water off, and just let you soak your feet in that same water. I don’t like that. I want that warm water bubbling on my toes! Obviously, since the water isn’t running continuously, it got cold really fast-within 2 minutes-and was not enjoyable to have my feet sit in. After 20 minutes of waiting another lady finally came for me and didn’t say hello, or any kind of acknowledgment, except to ask me, «Where’s your color?» When she was working on my pedicure, her nails were digging into my skin, and when she filed my nails, it was actually quite painful. Also, when she removed my previous nail color, she didn’t remove the whole thing. Uhh… I also noticed when an elderly woman was struggling to bend over to take off her shoes and get into her spa chair next to me, the person working kind of just watched her rather than assisting her to remove her shoes. Not nice. My toes ended up looking cute in the end so I’m not giving a one-star, but I wasn’t too pleased with the service overall so I’m not sure if I’d bother coming back here again.

I’ve been trying various SF nail salons through Groupon and this is by far the best. Amy provided a perfect mani/pedi with wonderful reflexology message. The place is clean, pleasant, with decent equipment. I will definitely be back.

Not the nicest, cleanest place but I got my gel nails done here for the first time and really liked it. It was also by far the cheapest place I’ve gone to. I didn’t like how it was also a hair salon and the décor was certainly not their priority. The woman who did my nails was really nice and thorough. There was also no wait. Definitely think they should remodel it a bit and clean up the area a bit more though.

NAILREVIEWS: As I am looking at my gel nails, I am still very pleased with the result. I HIGHLY recommend the younger looking lady(not sure what her name was). The older lady worked on my friend’s nails and she isn’t very happy with it. After a week, my gel manicure still looks amazing. I do notice a mini chip in my index finger but I think that’s because of my carelessness. Oops! I also got a pedi here and it looks in tact thus far! My gel manicure was from the color 1325. BEAUTIFULCOLOR — I am currently on the hunt for it. They say that the gel nails is supposed to last 21 days, so let’s hope so! Again, I would highly recommend the younger lady. They all speak Vietnamese and Vietnamese sounds very angry… but they do speak broken Cantonese(for anyone that is curious). We just walked in at 5:30pm on a Saturday so I believe they take walk-ins!

My husband and I both got haircuts here. Between the two of us; we tried 3 stylists. I got your general asian layered cut and my husband asked for some off the sides and leave a bit at the top. It looks great at first. Then you look a little more closely and if you’ve ever had a good haircut, then you should be able to tell that it’s off. In general, everything is done a bit carelessly and the emphasis is on speed and not quality and it shows in the product and the price. Perhaps they believe that people will not pay for a good haircut. I am, so I don’t think I will be coming back.

I am only giving two stars because of Karen. She is the only person in there that apologizes. Let me just start with how long I waited. They sat me down next to my friend who was only getting a mani. They hadn’t even started in my by the time she was done. I was getting a mani/pedi. They FINALLY asked me to put my feet in the tub AFTERTHEY they tried to sell me a $ 20 massage, I look down and for the SECONDTIME now the water had floating hairs and was obviously not clean!!! So gross! Karen did a great job in my toes but the older lady left paint all over my hands and didn’t understand that I wanted silver sparkles to match my toes. The prices are good but not for dirty water and a two hour wait.

Hubs + I looove David! He’s always quick + does a superb job. Can’t trust anyone else w/our hair. He’s usually busy so calling for an appointment is suggested. While waiting for Tommy to get a haircut a few days ago, I also tried the nail service for a quick pedi. Must say… not bad. Nails were shaped nicely while the callous treatment left my feet cleaner than other places. In the end, my toes looked cute and guess what? It was super inexpensive. Gel polish removal, pedi and callous treatment was only $ 25. THUMBSUP!
