Wow. I usually never write a review, but Im going to because people neeed to be aware of this. The female worker and the manager tried to scam me today. So here is what happened today…
I walked in to the store to try to change my phone plans. I originally had the 4 lines (2.5 gb unlimited text, call, and Internet plan) for $ 100. I wanted to change to the 4 lines (6gb unlimited text, call, and Internet plan) for $ 120. only 20 dollars more and my whole family can get an extra 3.5gb. what a better deal right? When I told the female worker about changing plans, she said I had to pay a service fee that cost $ 50. She also said ‚.if u don’t want to pay the service fee, instead you can also buy a new phone or any accessores that cost at least 50 $. so the service fee would cancel out. I asked her, «so you have to pay a $ 50 dollar service fee whenever you change plans?» She replied yes, you have to. It’s the stores policy. With me not knowing better and I wanted to change plans as soon as possible, I purchased the fitbit for $ 100 so I wouldn’t have to pay the service fee. Right after I bought the fitbit and got my phone plans changed, I went home to call customer service to verify about the service fee. Customer service said, «changing plans shouldnt cost you anything. You should go back and return the fitbit if your not satisfied with it». I rushed back to the store and told them that I just called customer service and they told me that you guys aren’t suppose to charge me a service fee. The lady that sold me the fitbit and tried to charge me the service fee told me that it’s the store policy. Little did she know, I had customer service on the line (phone on my hands). I told her to talk to customer service, and she was speechless. A minute later, the manager (who was standing right next to her) told her to let me refund the fitbit. She eventually did and I left the store. The employee and the manager are both scammers and tried to bait me into paying a 50 $ service fee. During the whole twenty minutes when the lady tried to charge me a service fee, the manager was there the whole time watching the sale go down. He allowed this to happen. Wow, what a horrible experience.
