Oh my goodness. So mei-wei! This place is nice and small and cozy. It deserves more reviews than this. The clay pot rice with black bean sauce, total mei-wei!

The steam soup is super yummy! I like it very much. Also, the price is so cute for lunch! Lunch special is $ 5.50!

So I came here for their clay pot rice… and it was really good. The rice is piping hot and is cooked with meat/vegetables(based on what you choose). I had the pork ribs with Chinese preserved sausage, chicken with Chinese preserved sausage, and their black bean fish clay pot rice. I loved the mixture of the ingredients with the rice, they blended very well together. I do have one gripe, and that is the pork ribs were tough(I came here twice, each time it was tough). The combination of the sauce and the way they prepared it, I still enjoyed eating it… but I do have to ding them for that. Other than that, it’s a very nice place to eat. I’m coming back for more!

I have been dining in this place since l was in college(a while back). It is a small restaurant on valley, but they are often packed during lunch and dinner time. They are famous for their Chinese herbal soup — 老火湯(lots of varieties), and clay pot rice — 煲仔飯! Their food was good with reasonable price. Environment is ok(just don’t expect much). Service was fast!!! I highly recommended Chinese college students whose family was not around, and you want to drink some soup and have some traditional Chinese food to come to this place(since this is what I did in the past)!!!

My favorite clay pot rice place. A friend introduce me about 12 years ago! Been going here ever since! I always get the preserved meat pot rice, salty fish with ground pork pot rice and fish fillet w/black bean pot rice. My fav soup is the dried scallop with vegetable, and home made Guiling Gao. Their lunch special soup comes with dumplings(gyoza).

how come no one write a review? nature express() is a really authentic Cantonese food place. they have rice and dish cooked in pots(a bit like bibimbap but in a variety of styles), herbal tea, soups and desserts. lunch special is reasonably priced. I think they have lunch special in the weekend too. they have their own parking lot, which is great.
