Dropped by today to have a snack and drink with my son. I got the Bo dam(smashed avocado), pepper poppers, chicken wings, and mothers egg(I think that’s what they call it). Bo dam was amazing!!! Delicious! I loved it as well as my son. Pepper poppers– tastes home made and good! So much better than the frozen ones. Of course Chicken wings– It was good not great. Egg– burst of flavor, very different from your ordinary boiled egg. Give this place a try! You won’t be disappointed. I wasn’t! But I subtracted a star I felt very awkward being the only dine in customer. And it was very quiet. :/

Found out ABC is closing the business. Last day is 2⁄9. Very sad to see them go. We go there very regularly, so we’ll really miss this place. Good luck to owners on their next venture.

I tried this place and a hot Thai tea for the first time tonight. I was happy with my tea. One of the employees let us sample the tiger tea. Now that was super yummy. It was a mix of jasmine tea, Thai tea, and green tea. I will be getting that next time for sure. The location is cozy, the staff is super friendly an everything looks and tastes great. It’s a nice spot to hang out and talk while enjoying yummy drinks and snacks.

The staff here is super friendly and great about answering questions. Although just a little bit on the pricy side, my hubby & I had a great experience here and will probably be back to try out the rest of the things on their menu soon!

Showed up to this place around five to a shop that looked pretty much closed: minimal lights, open sign off and no customers. The brother and I wanted some milk tea, so we ordered an original milk tea with boba and their D9: a dessert with coconut, lychee, basil seeds and coconut juice. Priced at a total around $ 8 – 9 we left trying the drinks on the ride home. The milk tea was good, strong tea flavor and a kick of caffeine. However the boba was complete mush, no chew, no flavor– not appetizing at all I didn’t bother eating it. The D9 barely made it back home, haha! Sad to see this place trying to save money but cutting back on electricity and poor quality boba. Also a bit pricy for boba that’s not exceptional.

My new favorite drink spot. When I first tried it out, I was so confused on what to get. The folks here are super nice and have great suggestions. I tried the golden milk tea and the Bo Dam(avocado with ice cream and jellies). Both were amazing. I just stopped by for my second tasting and got the same thing again. I love that it’s also located close to my parents house, so when I visit from SF, I can now stop by along the way.

I really enjoy this(I believe family owned) place. Because they’re not crazy with the menu and they have what almost everyone orders. I live a couple blocks down the street and When ever I can’t hang dry my clothes I just come to the local laundry mat and head to abc. It’s cheap and well worth the money. Today I walked in and ask for any type of hot drink, ranging from milk tea to coffee, just about anything. They mentioned coconut, which I’ve never tried and before ordering it, I just said«just surprise me» While waiting for the drink, the gentlemen at the register made conversation and places like that are always wonderful. When an employee can talk to a customer and continue to do so. Laughed about the cold weather and made jokes about my laundry lol. After the drink was prepared I wasn’t expecting anything crazy but damn, it’s creamy. Coconut and caramel? What ever they made was great. Not to sweet and it wasn’t too much flavor. Must come back for the food!

Love that this place is right across the street from my house and is open late. I checked in and got the buy one & get one half off offer because it let me try out their selection. I got their Thai Crème Float which was so unique. It reminded me of a thai tea smoothie, but with something special to it. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it’s pretty darn delicious. It is topped off with crisp coconut pieces burnt to perfection which complemented the drink perfectly. I seriously cannot get enough of it. I was told that their Thai Tea recipe is also one of a kind and that they had it for 8 years prior to opening the café as well. The other drink I got was a warm Green Tea Latte. It has the perfect sweetness level, and a slight bitterness of the green tea. Perfect to have with the cold weather we’ve been getting! TIP: If you’re coming here to study, make sure to charge your electronics prior because there isn’t a lot of outlets.):

I wanted to grab some milk tea before my class for me and a friend and I saw their promo on Unilocal so I decided to stop by since I live pretty close and was too lazy to drive to my usual boba places. I ordered the milk tea and thai tea and it was a huge disappointment. The milk tea tasted like bad soymilk to me and the thai tea barely had any flavor to it. I think they spent most of their time perfecting the thai tea color then the flavor since it was a very vivid orange and had no taste. We ended up tossing out our barely sipped drinks. The service here was alright nothing special. The girl at the cash register was very cheerful and threw me off with her high pitched voice for a second. Most likely will not be coming back

My new favorite tea spot! Danny is very helpful and informative on every drink. He is a tea connoisseur. It’s perfect because it’s close and always yummy. I love that is a small business and I totally support it :) Go for: D8 D9 D10 Chicken wings– try all the assortments! –1 because they are closed at random times?!

Pretty glad they opened this place so close to my house. Even more glad they take credit with no minimum. This seriously is a HUGE plus for me. I usually order the green tea with mango flavor and boba. Their pearls/boba are cook perfectly. Not too al dente. The tea is very refreshing. I once tried it as a milk tea(and I usually love milk teas) but I don’t quite love the creamer or milk they use. Or maybe it doesn’t work with the flavors. Just wasn’t as great. One friend once tried their tiger thai tea, he said it was«interesting» but I doubt he’d ever order that twice. Their slushies are pretty standard slushies. Full of sugar but it hits the spot. I enjoyed the lime flavor. Food wise, I’ve tried their pepper chicken(eh), mother clucker(YUM!), and jalapeño poppers(standard, which is tasty). There’s plenty of parking in the lot and whenever I’m there it’s not too packed so there’s always a place to sit(inside or outdoors). A few things they should look into doing to make the place better: 1) Put their food menu somewhere, ANYWHERE. There’s mini signs saying so and so are available but I never know what sort of food they serve and how much it costs. Apparently, the now have rice plates. What kind and how much I just don’t know. 2) Do something with that glass display. It’s always barren and only filled with glass soda bottles. For if you’re in the area and want good tasting tea for reasonable prices, it’s good to support this place. And hey, you won’t have to worry about carrying cash while you’re at it!

ABC Drinks, located in the plaza that includes Carl’s Junior, Manila Oriental Market(affectionately called MOM market) and a cluster of small, lesser known stores. There is wi-fi here, but you’ll have to ask for the password from the cashier. There is also a noted lack of outlets. They have a huge HDTV, and last time I was there they were playing A Bug’s Life. Also, they had fans running so I would not say that it’s a great place to focus or do work unless you are good at drowning out white noise, but good for chilling and chatting with friends. The ca phe sua da was as it should be: strong, bitter, and icy cold. Not as sweet as Lee’s if you have had theirs, but they are nice and offer to change your sweetness to your liking. Someone ordered a waffle and it smelled delicious! I’m glad I happened upon this place when it wasn’t super packed with tweens and teens. The workers here are very friendly and it looks like the milk tea prices are very reasonable! I will likely be back to try their golden milk tea from some of the reviews I’ve read.

ABC is most definitely a hole-in-the-wall. I would’ve never expected such amazing drinks at a store in this plaza! It’s located next to a tutoring school next to Fast Pizza. We got here around 9PM on a weekday and there were only two other patrons waiting for their orders. Since we looked overwhelmed with the menu, one of the owners asked if we wanted to sample their teas. Really?! How awesome! We got to try their thai tea, milk tea, jasmine green tea & golden tea. Since I can’t have dairy, he also brought out their black tea. Though they were all great, the jasmine green tea stood out from the rest. It was so fragrant and flavorful, I knew I had to have something with it. ABC has a variety of different kinds of che(Vietnamese dessert), coffee/frappé, and teas. I’ve also heard wonderful things about their salt & pepper chicken wings! And pandan waffles, mmm! The owner recommended mango jasmine green tea with boba. He said the mango flavor is sweet but it still lets the tea flavor shine through. The boba would just add a nice chewy texture. In a few minutes, my tea was ready and after the first sip, I knew ABC would become a front runner in my book! My drink was definitely a winner & I couldn’t wait to come back to try other things. Their décor is very modern and clean, despite what the plaza looks like. ABC may be a rookie but they’ve won my vote!

Came by for some after-lunch snacks the other day due to all the raving reviews on Unilocal. Pros: — Staff was friendly — They have a stamp card — They accept credit cards w/no surcharge — Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings are worth the hype Con: — Milk Tea didn’t have too much flavor. — Pearls were more like jello — too soft… — Mostly invaded by middle/high school students?!?

I love this place! Great and consistent service. I always order green waffles, chicken wings, and some type of Thai tea drink. Their green waffle is definitely better than the soggy one at Grand Century. Theirs is always crispy and loaded with coconut. It’s also made by order, which means it’s nice and warm! I always get the original chicken wings. Not only is it crispy, but it’s also juicy too. They have a lot of different version of Thai tea. All of the different types of Thai teas are tasty, so I always order a different flavor every time.

Ah, second time around. I did give them a 3 star because their store was pretty messy. I have to say the two gentlemen working today were super helpful. I didn’t get to see the store this time around though. Although I wanted something simple and light on calories, they both had a handful of suggestions for me. My friend ended up getting the Black Tea Lemonade, which they did suggest but I turned it down. I just wanted regular Jasmine Green Tea. Guy at the register tempted me to getting pearls with that… I had to ponder for a split second. Both drinks came out to $ 3.90. Turning out like a good start for a new business.

I really appreciate the owner here taking the time to explain which drinks he could make that are vegan friendly. Even though they have soy milk, their smoothies still use yogurt, so I was unable to try any of them. However, he suggested the Mocha Frappé with soymilk. It ended up being really really delicious, despite the fact that I was NOT in the mocha, coffee, or frappé mood at all. My friends also love getting their Milk Tea here, and I heard great things about their Café Sua Da. Cute interior and a cute shop in a not-so-cute shopping plaza. This is a hidden little gem.

Our first visit was this past weekend and here are the reasons for the stars: 1. friendly & nice staff – thanks, Danny! 2. Delicious drink — definitely great coffee jelly 3. Jalepeno poppers – the best we’ve had. Be careful, it’s hot but… very delicious! 4. Clean 5. Another star for nice service.

I come here almost every day when I’m in San Jose! I’ve tried the passion fruit black tea w/milk, guava green tea w/milk, mango green tea, peach green tea, and their vietnamese coffee. I don’t have a favorite because they were all too good! The tea is brewed daily, which really makes a difference in the taste. Their vietnamese coffee is exactly how vietnamese coffee should be like, strong taste and will keep you wired for a while. The owners are very welcoming; the nice man even turned up the volume for us when we were watching Bolt on the flat screen and gave me a balloon when I asked him for one! If you come here daily, and order the same thing over and over, your name will be on the menu(EX: Mango green tea(Lyn’s pick))! I’m jealous of that Sunny guy for already being on the menu cause I don’t have a favorite that I’d buy daily.
