Disclaimer: I didn’t go inside this place or order drinks here. Maybe it’s a delight and I’ll never know. My girlfriend and I poked our heads in here, because we were going to the taqueria next door. We saw some girl(waitress) from behind and she was wearing some sort of string bikini bottom. Full on butt cheeks. Oh yeah, and it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I guess the indoor smoking ban doesn’t apply here. This isn’t the type of place for everyone. I get the feeling it’s more of a hardcore Vietnamese hangout… and probably just for men, judging from the crazy getup of the staff.

Am Tham is a nice place to go after work and relax with a strong cup of coffee, everyone knows i do. They have touch game counsels that keeps a person entertained. What else do i need to say? ohh yea the girls are really nice. BUT fellas remember this is only a coffee shop… enough said.

Even if this place had dirt floors and walls made of cardboard, it would STILL be awesome by virtue of my gorgeous friend Vi working there. Having established that, let me say that it’s actually pretty nice on the inside. My understanding is that the space was a Starbuck’s before it became a REAL café. Coffee is good, the floral tea is VERY good, you can smoke inside, there are plasma TVs everywhere, and service is top-notch. If you’ve ever thought about having vietnamese coffee served to you by an Apsara, this is as close as you’re going to get. ;)
