Not a very large selection of donuts and the ones they did have were slightly stale. There are better donut shops in the area. Don’t waste your money.

The 3 stars is deceiving. The applefritter is good– I would get it again but 4 stars is pretty freaking good and 5 is thee best. That being said– if you love donuts this is a good fritter and will suffice if your normal shop is a no-go for whatever reason. It was $ 1.80 cash only

Milk and butter free. Only the cruellers have egg. Dare I say VEGAN? Very friendly and accommodating owner!

My favorite thing here is the sausage roll but they seem to run out of those quickly – they come in mild and spicy I believe – it’s been a while since I had one here. Most recently I got the cinnamon twist was tasty but a little drier than the ones at other shops;maybe it has less oil in it or something. The coffee is very reasonable here, too. The owner – originally from Thailand – is very nice, and she gets up very early and the shops opens very early.

My family and I have come here since I was little and it was a Winchell’s! As I grew taller, I literally banged my head against the table corners, and once my cousin spilled her soda and caused the then-owner to slip and fall(we didn’t go back for almost two months because my mom was afraid he’d be mad – he wasn’t). Lots of memories! And even though the owners have changed, the one thing that hasn’t is the quality of the donuts and, amazingly, the extraordinary service. We’ve gotten to know every owner here. They’ve always been friendly and interested in sitting down and having a chat, and Lee is no exception. Maybe it’s because I’ve grown up with these donuts, but I do consider them the standard for all donuts. I used to live on the East Coast, where Dunkin’ is king, and I gave up donuts for four years because they had stale, pathetic pastries. I longed to come home for a solid, dependable donut. The way people talk about them on here, you’d think the donuts were as bad as those God-awful Safeway donuts. These are the way donuts are MEANT to be, people! My mom agrees, and her father was a donut baker back in the day, so she knows what she’s talking about. I have never ever had a bad donut here, and I’ve been coming for over 20 years! Support your local businesses, come here!

Really dry insides, not as soft as they should be seemed like not enough of the fine bubbled in the dough, kind of coarser than they ought to be and over oily outsides. The chocolate icing wasn’t even as chocolatey as most places.

I love donuts. I do. And I’ve traveled far and wide for great donuts. I’m afraid to say, this is not that place. I’ve come twice, because my wife loves the Joanne’s fabrics in the same complex. The first time I had a donut — it was — okay. But not really worth the calories. If I’m going to eat a donut, I want it to be pure delight in my mouth and in my tummy. The donuts here felt like they were made with no love. It was as if I had found them at a run-down gas station on a road less travelled. Still, I went back for a second opinion in the event that the previous experience was simply a bad day. I ordered a Mocha to go with my donut. I was worried when the attendant used a small carton of milk from the little fridge in the front to make my Mocha, but then I was completely horrified when hot water was added to it after the espresso had been applied. A yucky hot chocolate made with water Mocha. I am almost positive I threw it away. Too bad — I’m in this complex all the time.

the donut here is mediocre. the donut wasnt fried at the right temperature because it was oilier than should be and it wast fried long enough. i tried their glazed donut and it was pretty sad. it was pale in color and it didnt have that distinct outer layer when you bite into it… though i have to say that the owner lady here is so sweet! she is so nice and friendly… makes me feel bad writing this review.

The apple Fritter all the way! kinda expensive though. $ 6.25 for 4 donuts… ah well I guess the price of lard is going up like everything else!

Have been looking for a replacement for Stan’s Donut in Santa Clara, down here in Almaden/Bloosom Hill. I went in today to try their glazed donuts and they are not so bad. Won’t mind going back!

Large selection of donuts and pastries, however using the apple fritter and buttermilk bar as references I found these to be a bit greasier than I like them. You really feel the heaviness of the fritter by the time you get to the end. The staff is very friendly and always carries a smile. Not a bad place at all to get a fresh donut.

I’m so excited b-c someone just brough a big variety bin of these donuts to the office and I haven’t had them in forever, and felt compelled to write a Unilocal review on how these are the best in the area! Perfect donut in every way.

This is just a regular mom and pop donut shop but that is what I was looking for. The service is quick and they are very friendly. I have been here many times and they have never run out of what I want.
