Pretty good I got the mango smoothie, lychee smoothie, and the strawberry smoothie. One thing I do have to add is the smoothies I got all had a salty taste to it. Maybe it was because they make some salty drinks there but it was tolerable. We ended adding some sugar to them at home to counter act the salty taste it had. The place also didn’t look too hygienic. The probability of going back is uncertain.

Hard to find a place that does dragonfruit smoothies. Bach Dang does it right & does it the best in my opinion. $ 4 is kinda pricey, but then again, dragonfruit is pricey in itself! If you want a good dragonfruit smoothie, look no further! :)

I have yet to try their sugarcane juice because my mom makes the best duh? Just kidding. I come to Bach Dang solely for their mango smoothies. I believe they make it with sorbet, milk(I’m lactose poopy farts haha) and yogurt so it’s just perfect for me. It’s $ 4 which is a little expensive but the quality makes up for the cost, I guess. I mean, the owners that are husband and wife are super friendly and respectable adults!

Best coconut juice ever with actual coconut meat on the bottom. The guy that works there(presumably the owner) is pretty nice too. I usually like to buy one for now and another for the next day … I don’t live that close, so no judgement! I get the second cup without ice and there is a $ 0.50 extra charge.

SUGARCANEJUICE!!! So delicious with sugar cane, kumquat and Orange. If you don’t have a sweet tooth, this might not be for you, but I LOVETHISDRINK. It reminds me of childhood. If you’ve never tried sugar cane juice before, this is a great place to start! =]

It’s in the(dirty) food court in the middle of Lion plaza. Cash Only. I am not a huge fan of Asian style drinks(herbs, bubble, teas…) EXCEPT for durian based drinks and Bach dang durian smoothie is killer! Sweat enough, but not too sweet, rich, tasty, very smooth. They use a lot of real frozen durians. perfect! 4 $ for a small smoothie.

I came here and ordered a lychee smoothie. The lychee flavor was nice, but there was a weird sourness that I didn’t really enjoy. This may have been an off-day, so I may try this place again if I am in the area because the rest of their drinks looked good.

I can’t believe I forgot about this gem! This place has been here for as long as I can remember. The nuoc mia here is so fresh and delicious. They also make other drinks such as smoothies, milk teas, and juices. Come here if you need a quick refreshment.

Even though it’s kind of pricey, I love love the fact that they use REAL star apple & sapodilla fruit for my smoothies!!! So why pay $ 3 for an artificially flavored milk tea when u can have REAL fruit for $ 4.00!!! P/s: their soy milk is the bomb too!

vietnamese food court… inside and straight ahead… menu counter and order… boxes of fireworks… sold everywhere on lunar new years… milk tea and fireworks… awesome…few minutes of waiting and drinks prompt… perfect level of sweetness… not too sweet, but sweet enough… sealed for easy delivery… puncture a hole with straw to start sipping… cold and refreshing… tea drinks recommended…

I’ve been going here since I was a kid and it’s always remained the same. The fresh and delicious sugar cane is the best thing here in my opinion. The addition of the orange slice is BRILLIANT; it adds a nice citrus flavor that just makes the whole drink even better. It’s $ 4 for a regular, which is decent sized, and the large — $ 5.50(?). I have yet to get the large but I’m very tempted to one day! Note: It’s located at the food court INSIDE the plaza and parking can get really tough here on the weekends so try to come on a weekday.

Always coming here for mochas and milk tea when nearby because I just like the taste. I only ever got the taro smoothie. They use fresh fruit which is good even though I am allergic to most fruits. I used to get coconut juice but then I stopped wanting juice. Decent place, and friendly worker who always recognizes me.

I don’t get it why people love sugarcane drinks here while they mixed a lot of sugar and water instead of 100% fresh sugarcane juice. I grew up on a family sugarcane field and drank it all my life. So trust me I know how pure sugarcane drink should taste.

Everyone who loves taro smoothies should come here. They actually make the taro smoothies with REAL taro. In most places they use powder taro. All of their smoothies are also made from real fruits. And the pricing is awesome, you get the smoothie with jelly/pearls, and whip cream for 3.75. I cannot stress how much I hate powder base smoothies, so anyone who likes real taro smoothies come to this place.

It’s straight down the entrance of the food court. The drinks are made promptly, and with a smile. I don’t know about you guys, but whenever I step foot into this food court area, I get the evil eye and attitude whenever I order something to eat here. This place is a drinks specialty place. Usually I go for the jackfruit drink, but lately I’ve found that this drink is way too sweet for me. So the inner rebel in me ordered the salted calamansi. Wow, what a taste bud confuser. I didn’t know if the next sip was going to be sour, sweet, salty or bitter. Every time I sipped it, it was a completely different taste. Totally recommend it to anyone willing to try it. The fruit smoothies such as honey dew and strawberry was refreshingly nice. There’s nothing to boast about, it was just perfect for a sunny day drink when walking around this plaza.

CASHONLY!(Ugh, I hate that) Lots of odd choices here for various smoothies. I chose to go with the soursop smoothie, which is like sour strawberry banana kinda. It was pretty okay, but left me feeling a little sick for some reason. The place itself is very hard to find, in a weird little food court in a large strip mall,

The only worthy place to get sugar cane and pennyworth drink. I cannot believe I am addicted to this drink. It is refreshing and tasty. I wish they open another location so I do not need to travel far distance. Overall, I am a huge fan of them and will be coming back for more! Not to mention, I was there 4 times the past two weeks. =)

I have fond memories at Lion Plaza since childhood and recently, my family took the hour and a half drive from San Francisco down here so we could enjoy some real Vietnamese food. What I always look forward to is Bach Dang’s fresh sugar cane juice! When I say fresh I mean FRESH, they got the grinder, real sugar cane, and everything. Ahhhh so refreshingly cool and sweet… The perfect balance for a hot savory bowl of phở, fried imperial rolls, and other delectable good eats they have at Lion Plaza. If only they didn’t put so much ice so I can savor a couple more sips. They also place an orange wedge into the drink as well. Not sure of its purpose but I have a few hunches: a) Adds more sweetness to the flavor b) Used as a gimmick to fill the cup’s capacity c) Offered as a pseudo chaser to those who want a boost of citrus after their drink. This time around I got a chance to try their Durian Boba. All the drinks are the same price so I figured, why not try something new? Durian has one of those hate it or love it reps, & I’m glad I’m the type that is hopelessly in love with it. The durian was blended with ice into a smoothie with added tapioca pearls. These pearls went so well with the durian. They were partially frozen when added to the drink which made it more fun to nibble on to get to the chewy center. Best durian experience ever! I’m coming back for more.

If I’m not drinking sugar-cane juice at «Nuoc Mia Ninh Kieu»( ), then I’m having it here, located inside SanJo’s Lion Plaza’s food court. So refreshing after a food plate or noodle soup. You can pretty much mix yours with a number of fruit flavors. And only $ 3.50 a cup. Nuoc mia/sugar-cane juice( ). Obligatory youtube making-of video( ).
