In an area filled with fancy, expensive restaurants left and right… this stand, located in front of Crate and Barrel and next to Best Buy, is a steal. The chicken tikketa(came out to around $ 7 if I remember correctly) was very flavorful! Chicken meat wasn’t dry, the sauce tasted AMAZING with the right amount of zest and spice, and the wrap overall was very enjoyable to eat. I think if anything, a minor downside was that there was too much of the sauce to the point where it was dripping out and making it messy. But I’m completely fine with it. Great place for a quick bite to eat!

Worst experience of my life!!. If I could give it negative stars I would. Which is what surprised me because I saw so many good reviews on Unilocal before trying this place out. People seem to rave about the chicken tikkita wrap which is probably what I should have ordered but I went with their gyro about a week ago. It was under cooked with pre-made slices you get in the freezer section not the fresh lamb meat on the spit and their was no sauce. Furthermore, I ended up getting food poisoning and was violently ill for six days. On the plus side I lost a few pounds but not the way I would have desired. My earnest advice is stay away, at least from the gyros. I definitely won’t be back!!!

I was stopping by Crate and Barrel after practicing yoga, and needed a quick bite to eat. The cart was closeby to my shopping destination, so I decided to try a falafel wrap. The man working the cart was very friendly and served me my wrap, spicy style. It was really delicious. I might want to try it again without to spicy factor to compare. Felt like a light lunch which was exactly what I was searching for.

I had some time to kill before seeing a movie at Cinearts, and I’ve been wanting to try this place. Found it over by Best Buy in front of the Container Store, and the aroma of the beef kebabs in the air made my mouth water. I ordered one, and sat at one of the tables until the gentlemen who took my order brought it out to me. Wow, I LOVED this kebab! The ground beef kebab patties were perfectly cooked! Medium well but still super juicy, and a LOT of flavor! the veggies were fresh, and the pita wrap was soft and thick. I liked the sauce a lot too, it like a spicy tzatsiki style sauce, and it just all worked together so well! For only $ 6, it really hit the spot, I was tempted to buy another one but I had to catch my movie. Anyway, I highly recommend this food cart! Check it out if you are at Santa Row, much cheaper than any other food place you will find there.

In a pinch this place is good. After shopping at Crate and Barrel the hubby was hungry(surprise) The chicken wrap was delicious… The samosa was good too. Pay by square if you are using credit card.

Friendly owner, nice Kebobs(tried beef and lamb) made to order(yes, makes the wait a bit longer but if you want your meat to be pre-cooked, go to McDonalds). The pita bread is store bought brand which is not a good thing, but overall a good quality food stand for decent price. They might had different menu in the past, no clue why they are called ‘Bombay…’ the food is definitely Mediterranean and middle-eastern.

*******UPDATE*****OWNERSHIPCHANGE – different food. Update, Bombay Wraps as I know it, is no longer! Man, was I bummed! The new owner was super nice, but please note the menu is dramatically different. No more chicken wraps with Indian type infusion :-). He was nice enough to give me a sample of one of his dishes, the meat at least. But I’m just not a fan of ground chicken for sandwiches. The old wraps were out of this world! How I wish they would have stuck with the original menu. **************

The wraps here are decent(hence the extra star), but you’ll wait 40 days and 40 nights for them to finish making them. The last time I was there, I placed my order, and then 5 minutes later, the person I gave my order came up and said«okay, the guy to make your wrap is here». I was like WTF? This is a food truck, did you have to summon your on-call chef to start cooking up the chicken? After another 10 minutes, I go up to the guy who’s making the wrap and ask what’s taking so long? He says just a few more minutes. 10 mins later, I tell them to forget about it, and leave. 25 minutes I could driven somewhere faster. Like driving up to Napa and ordering the 11 course meal at the French Laundry. Prices are also a bit high. $ 12 for a «double» chicken, which has as much meat as the«single» chicken at a place like Dish n Dash. But I’ll take that as the Santana Row tax, someone has to pay for those Tesla chargers in the parking lot. But for a food truck, the idea is that the food is fast. Most of the time it’s been anything but fast, and this was the last straw unfortunately. These guys should give out pagers like Yard House or Cheesecake Factory if its going to take so long. At least then I can go to the Tesla store and pretend I want to buy a Roadster for 25 minutes.

I m writing this review specially to express the disappointment I had when they refused to accept their on going promotion of Unilocal certificate. I somehow dont see it mentioned anywhere in the promotion which items qualify and which ones don’t. When I asked if I could use the Unilocal certificate .the guy said its valid only for double rolls !!! Food — taste wise I would rate it 3 But because of my above mentioned experience. I rate it 2.

Santana Row is known for its upscale shopping and dining, however it does have one food cart that’s worth checking out. Bombay Wraps is hidden off the main strip, between the Container Store and Best Buy. The food is cheap and flavorful and the service is exceedingly friendly. The wait times can be longer than you’d expect for a food cart, so this isn’t the best place to come if you’re in a hurry and looking for a quick bite to eat. Definitely a good change of pace from the typical Santana Row restaurant.

After a failed attempt going to the hot dog stand near Urban Outfitters because apparently they closed down. I was sad and was craving for a hot dog so I decided to try this place behind best buy parking lot. They told me they can customize a hot dog for me even though they are known for their kebob wraps. I was surprised they somehow manage to have a polish dog. They grilled the polish dog and some onion. They then put it on a bun with lettuce and some spicy orange sauce. I have to say it looked and tasted awesome. As I sat there and devoured my polish dog, they also gave me some liver and heart meat from a chicken which tasted delicious. They also took a picture of me as being their customer which I thought was cute.

I’d give this place a 2.5. I ACTUALLY said, ‘Meh, I’ve had better’ while eating there — and my husband agreed. Our meat was really dry(I had lamb, he had chicken) and so was the pita wrap. Wasn’t terrible, but it was far from great. Maybe some people think ‘what do you expect from cart food!?’ Well I’ve had plenty of cart food –and it can be fantastic. So we were def disappointed Given the other reviews, I expected them to be phenomenal. Did we just go on an off day?!

Located outside the Container Store near the Best Buy side, this place has chairs and tables, if you want to sit. But the best part about this place is the food(which is not Indian, btw, it’s Arabian). For about $ 4.50, you can get a superb kabob wrap, which is really a shawarma, if you care. That means freshly-cooked meat with some veg in a flatbread with some dipping sauces. Go for the mixed(joujeh) chicken over white meat only, since it’s juicier(and cheaper). The orange spicy sauce is hot but so delicious with a little of the yogurt! It’s not a huge portion, so 3 of these for my wife and I, but the taste is awesome. Next time I go, I’m going to try it with potatos/french fries inside it – try it if you haven’t, so tasty! Be prepared to wait a few minutes while they cook it; it’s not a hot dog stand. And the person was a really nice guy who enjoys compliments. I just wish they had another location, so I wouldn’t have to deal with SRow.

Stumbled upon this by chance while roaming around Santana Row. For those that are confused, I talked to one of the co-owners and they bought the venue and name from the previous owners. They decided to keep the name, but change the menu to primarily Middle Eastern. They did keep some basic Indian items(samosa) on the menu. While enjoying my food, I did see some Indians approach(unknowingly drawn in by the name«Bombay Wraps») but once they saw the menu, they left. The food is cooked to order and was great. According the guy I talked to, the recipes are from different regions(northern Israel, the border of Iran/Iraq, etc.). Prices are great(especially when compared to standard Santana Row fare). If I remember correctly, they are open 7 days a week until 9pm.

Awesome food. Awesome service. This is one of the best things on Santana Row. I live here and head down a couple times a week.

Really good service, they got us Baklava because they were late by a couple of mins, and we weren’t sure how the Baba Ganoush would taste so they just let us have it on the house. The food was freshly prepared and was better than some restaurants. All in all, when I am in the mood for Mediterranean and I am close to Santana Row, this is where I will eat.

Do not judge a book by its cover. This place is called«Bombay» Wraps, but what they serve is Mediterranean. This is a sidewalk stall, which in our minds = relatively fast food. We waited half an hour to get our wraps(one chicken, one veggie), and when our unexpected Mediterranean surprise arrived it was only average in taste. It was also really confusing for who actually worked there. Some lady who looked like she was a passerby started serving us food. Sure the cooks are friendly, but they would have to be to compensate for their slowness. I question how this place has such high reviews at this point.

Though this little food stand sits quietly in front of the Santana Row’s Container Store entrance, walking by it when the cook starts cooking something up draws you in with a wonderful aroma. Very much a cheaper alternative to eating out around Santana Row for sure, the food here is prepared fresh and the flavor is just wonderful.

I was with claudia y. when I visited. I will post pics later. I echo her review: «this little cart sits right outside the container store and best buy and is open late! i cant remember what time we stumbled over there but it was a saturday night and we had just gotten bored of blowfish. someone had given us flyers for free samosas so we couldnt pass it up and walked over there even though we were wearing high heels and it was cold. when we got there it turned out that they had run out of samosas! but they made us each a Aloo Tikki Cholay(Crispy potato patty smothered in garbanzo beans, onions, mint and tamarind chutneys) instead. it was good and spicy!»
