I recently moved out of the Di Salvo Apartments and part of my deposit was held for «cleaning». On top of that, some of the issues were there when I moved in and the owner is holding me responsible for them. I have always gotten my full deposit back because I leave the apartment in great condition. The owner should expect to clean before a new tenant moves in and should not hold the previous tenant responsible for that cleaning. Please, please, PLEASE take photos of everything (including the bathtub and window blinds) on the day you move in and store them away for the day you move out. The rent is pretty high for what you get, but the location is nice.
