For less than $ 15 we got one buche taco and two regular carnitas burritos. The buche was very tender and tasty. The regular burritos were huge. In the future I’d stick with a few tacos unless I wanted leftovers to take home. I went home with ¾ of my burrito. The carnitas burritos were carnitas and rice and were pretty good. The salsas were great and the pico de gallo was good. I’d go back for the tacos.

Carnitas by the pound… You can feed a large group for really cheap. Not the friendliest customer service or the cleanest location, but overall a good value.

There is another El Rincon several blocks away but this location has more parking and more indoor seating. It was also a lot less busy on the weekend I went so I’m not sure if that was by chance or a consistent theme for this location. I’d say the quality of the carnitas is the same for both locations so if I’m getting easier parking and same quality meat, this W Alma location is the way to go. It’s great to have a place in Carnitas El Rincon where you can just buy carintas by the pound and can make tacos at home or in the restaurant. They sell buche by the pound too but I’m not a big fan of buche in general.

Buche and cueritos are good, carnitas a little dry but still good for 7,89 $ a pound would feed two definitely.

So friend and I were hungry while waiting at the dmv. Bought a burrito with carnitas. I was happy to see the size… but then I bit into it… On bite and I wanted to throw up. I got a whiff of the rice that was underneath the tortilla and it smelled like a dirty towel that they use to clean. We both left the burritos there and went back to the dmv, sick of the smell and taste but still hungry.

Carnitas about 8 dollars a pound. You can order by the taco or just the meat itself. This location seems to have more parking available than the Keyes location and quality is just as good. Variety includes carnita masisa, buche, costilla, cueritos.
