I found them through Unilocal and ordered two entrees and vegetarian wonton the cost came to nearly 40 dollars when it arrived I was surprised to see my 11 dollar entrees were not big family sized boxes but little white takeout boxes. Their prices are fully double what is fair and expected and their food is in no way outstanding. The side of vegetarian wonton is just crispy syrups like you might garnish soup with

I’m sad to say that even though my first review for this place was great and I was thrilled with their chinese food, my most recent experience was a little more mediocre.
Granted the restaurant was a little more full than usual but it took over 15 minutes to get my food. I had to ask for what twice. And at the end the bill came out with a mistaken price amount. Needless to say I’m sad my experience wasn’t the best this time around but maybe they were just having a bad day. Will try to give this place another shot soon.

I was a bit hesitant about ordering delivery from here based on some reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. Potstickers, steamed rice, beef chow main, sweet and sour chicken. All good. Not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life but still solid, and I’ll order from here again. All the food arrived hot.
The only annoyance was the fact that while I ordered online through Unilocal and provided specific instructions, the delivery guy called me saying he couldn’t even find the address provided. A simple Google Maps lookup would’ve avoided that. Despite his perfect English, after he figured out where the address was, I had to stay on the phone with him for about 7 minutes then wait another 5 minutes to get him to my door. It was somewhat annoying, but at least the guy was nice.

I spent over $ 90 on food from this place for my staff of 11 people. I ordered just after they opened and after an hour and a half the food finally arrived. The very small containers of food were not even full! I ordered 8 dishes plus rice ala carte that didn’t come close to feeding 11 people. Even if I had ordered lunch plates I would have expected more food. I’ll never order from here again and I wouldn’t recommend it to my enemies.

Ordered mongolian beef, general’s chicken, cream cheese wontons and potstickers via DoorDash, and this has to be the worst chinese food I’ve had in years :(Both the mongolian beef and general’s chicken were inedible, with the mongolian beef being gray slices of beef with onions in some kind of watery substance that I assume was sauce, the general’s chicken being bitter and rubbery, and the cream cheese wontons were shells devoid of any filling. The pot stickers were the only item to come as expected, and even they failed to impress.
On top of all this, they forgot to send any rice…
Think twice before ordering… it’s really that bad.

Ordered from this place on DoorDash and it was inedible. Possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve had, ever. Soup was salty, paper wrapped chicken was disgusting. Not only were the green beans not dry fried, the didn’t even taste like green beans. Do not eat here. Please.

I only ordered steamed rice & shrimp chow mein & it was delicious. Would I go back? Yes I would! The only reason why I didn’t give a 5 stars was b/​c she had me on hold for a while on the phone. Also the food wasn’t ready when I went to go pick it up.

They never seem to disappoint me ! I love the food. I order the orange chicken or kung pao chicken. Try it ! It’s so amazing. The owners of restaurant are so friendly and they always make sure I am happy ! Great food ! Great customer service I love it here !!! I will be coming back !! Also the veggies are fresh! So good. Try it !!

Some of the greatest Chinese food you can get in down town San Jose. I do recommended going here staff is very friendly and food is very tasty. The one time I was less impressed was when ordering it for delivery. The quality of the food was okay but very cold and soggy when delivered. This is a place where you should go in and sit down to eat not get it delivered.

Just ordered delivery using doordash and I was pleasantly surprised. For one I’ve never ate at this restaurant, and two I’ve never used doordash. Both went swimmingly. I ordered shrimp won ton soup, Chinese chicken salad, and some sort of mixed/​combo/​special chow fun. Started with the salad out of fear of wilted lettuce since the food was super hot when the doordash lass handed it to me. Salad was great. Soup great. & chow fun was delish. The chow fun had shrimp, chicken, pork, and a nice combo of veggies. I will definitely be using doordash again to order from here. Minus one star only because the food is not better than my all time fav Chinese place, but it’s still good and satisfying.

This review is just for the delivery (not sure of how the food was since I didn’t have any). I ordered a bunch of food online at around 7:35pm for my family (they have a $ 30 minimum for delivery). I called my niece (about an hour and 15 minutes later) to ask if everyone was enjoying the food. She told me the delivery had not yet arrived. I was very surprised and a little upset so I called China Wok to inquire about the order. I called and they said that the guy left 5 minutes ago. The food didn’t get to the house until 9:15pm. So they had waited an hour and 40 minutes for the food. That is unacceptable.

This is my go to Chinese food spot. Im only giving it 3 stars because they take forever and a day to get here, although tonight they were 15 minutes early. I usually order the same thing but change it up here and there.
Recommendations: Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, garlic shrimp, walnut prawns, west lake soup, Wor wonton soup, Singapore mei fun and the egg rolls are always really good.
The only complaint that I have is that they just take so long to deliver. I don’t know if it’s because I order through EAT24 or if they’re that busy.
I’d probably give 4 stars if they were a little quicker.

Called just now to get an order delivered. Minimum of $ 30!!! I like the food but that’s too much for one person. So the missed out on a sale. They should re-​evaluate the fact that a customer may call to order dinner for 1.

Ahhh… Guess I’m spoiled on good Chinese food places as this restaurant is super average.
The vegetable dishes are fresh, hot and flavorful. The standard chow mein and beef dishes are bland. I tried it and will move along on my Chinese food quest in downtown San Jose. An irony is… The cheaper, more market like Asian food establishments have better food in San Jose.

Our go-​to place. They get 3 stars because they won’t deliver to our house because it’s ONE mile over their 3 mile radius. Really? an extra mile is going to kill you? Especially when we’re tipping over 20%?
Other than that, their food is pretty good.
One more hint, don’t use EAT24 with them because they hate that they have to share commission with them-they’re kind of rude when you’re using Eat24…

I had a dine in experience here a while ago (with a Groupon). The food and experience were underwhelming. Then, I tried giving them one more chance the other night. I wasn’t feeling like going out, just wanted food delivered for a night of Netflix/​junk food binging with the boyfriend. The food was, again, not spectacular. The flavors lacked depth and everything was just flavored with soy sauce/​bland. Both my boyfriend and I had headaches the whole night/​morning after, presuming from MSG? Which, I admit that I expect «Chinese» food (quotations to show I mean, Americanized Chinese grub and not the real stuff) to have MSG (it’s junk food… my guilty pleasure junk food!) but if it had MSG shouldn’t it at least taste (somewhat) good?
For those of you on the fence because of the mix of 5-​star and 1 or 2-​star reviews, trust the 1 star reviews. Food’s not great and not worth the headache after. I literally would rather go to Panda Express (worse than fast food? I think that says a lot).

I haven’t eaten there in a year but got take out tonight.
No good.
I always got garlic beef. Seems that’s no longer an option, but they offered to make it anyway
Beef was seriously undercooked (but I think they were trying to rush on my account cuz I always look like I’m going 100 mph)
And was not delicious at all. Sitting in tons of water somehow. Bulk of box was onion strings. Green bean strings? Maybe some bamboo shoots. And a few chilis.
Andddd my hunt for good garlic beef in San Jose continues. Womp. Womp.

This is my favorite Chinese food lunch spot in downtown San Jose. Its has a quiet, traditional atmosphere. Don’t expect any upscale trendy-​ness.
