They placed the chocolate pudding right next to the little octopuses in the buffet trays. This seriously grossed me out.

WORSEPLACEEVER! You have to be kidding me. This is the worst buffet i have ever been to. I was really angry when i left. They apologized for the staleness of the food and gave me $ 5 crazy bucks to come back. I left the $ 5 bucks on the table and left. NEVERCOMINGBACKTOTHISPLACEAGAIN!!! I know why they call it crazy buffet. because you have to be CRAZY enough to come here.

Crazy shut down is more like it. Went by tonight and? closed! doors closed, lights out, tape over the parking lot. I think it is done.

I took my family out here as a treat because I had just gotten my paycheck. 4 people(LUNCH) = 65 – 70 $ including tax, it was okay, but I’ve been to better buffets… It’s a buffet, so service is w/e I didn’t really like the people. too many people were staring at me! PSH, like they weren’t eating like heifers themselves!

Nothing special. Mediocre, typical buffet food. Staff did take notice when we stayed 30 minuets after table was cleared and billed payed. I caught a few of glares, but damn, I was stuffed and couldn’t move, and that feeling was probably attributed to how the food was handled. After reading the reviews, I again, am truly disgusted by what was posted. Seriously, furry creatures in an establishment where people dine. HORRIBLE. If I wanted to see RATSLIVIN’ ITUP in a restaurant, I’d buy RATATOUILLE, the movie. Word.

Another buffet joint that I am not too fond of. Crazy and Super Buffet sprung up almost simultaneously off of Steven’s Creek… My friends raved about the food selection at CB, so my naïveté compelled me to give this place a shot. I was quite surprised at first because we had to wait roughly 30 mins before we were seated, so my optimism grew. Then we went to get food and my optimism dwindled immediately as I stroll down the aisles trying to figure what I wanted to eat. Actually, Carrow’s and Denny’s didn’t seem like a bad alternative at this point. The only dish that was palatable was the walnut prawns. Im still searching for a buffet venue that tickles my fancy…

Avoid at all costs. It is hit and miss if you get a good day. Definition of a good day? One that you don’t end up sick in the bathroom an hour after lunch. My first visit here was two weeks ago with a large work crew. Since then, I’ve tried to get a crew to go back there, but most of them said it wasn’t good and they wouldn’t go again. So finally I found one person and we went today. Both of us sick within an hour. While I was there, I avoided specific sushi that looked ‘crispy’. It’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for though. I would not ever go here again.

«Try something new» I said… It was $ 15 so I was expected a decent meal. Everything looked great on the buffet line so I loaded up my plate and grabbed a stack of napkins in case I got messy. Well, I ended up needing those napkins alright, because that’s where all the food from my mouth went. This was what I discovered: 1) The meats were days old and stale from the ever-gazing heat lamps. 2) The drink was $ 2 extra on top of a $ 15 meal… at a buffet!!! 3) The dessert items you find between your couch cushions after 3 years of being sat on are on par with their dessert selection. I gave EVERY food item there a shot. I really did because I wanted to to get my $ 15 worth, but their lack luster quality prevented this. It all ended up in the napkins. I left this place with what felt like cardboard in my stomach. It was more like an empty-cardboard-box feeling, because I was still hungry.

I ate here once and that was enough. I tried a little bit of everything and most of the non-fish stuff was o.k. Out of the seafood, the walnut shrimp and crab legs stood out. I ate a lot of crab legs. That night they seemed fresh and I wanted to get my $ 14 out of the place. On top of the high price for the meal, they also charged another $ 2 for a drink, which was watered down soda. I would give them 2 or 3 stars if it wasn’t for their deserts, which were crawling with ants. It was pretty nasty, a big display of cream puffs and such acting as an all you can eat buffet for another species. I don’t know why I would ever go back there.

God, this place is nasty. Everything tastes old and like it’s been frozen for about 10 years before it was defrosted and baked to death under a heat lamp for 6 or more hours. Do NOT eat the seafood. Do NOT eat the sushi. DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! I felt sick at this place WHILE I WASEATINGIT. Sure, it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet… but for $ 9, any fast food joint should supply plenty of food and is better and cleaner than this.

At first I was going to give this place three stars, but that seemed too generous. There wasn’t much to rave about, and really all I liked was the cheap lunch price($ 9). I’m sure I could probably find cheaper and better buffets elsewhere, but this was nearby and I don’t even care that much for buffets. It was the usual greasy, badly-done chinese food with random trays of french fries, pizza, or sushi that tasted a day old. There was no real high-end seafood, just cheap crawfish. The dessert bar was limited, and what was set out was pretty bad. I am an awful baker, and I’m certain I can make better cheesecake. I probably should have just saved my body the cholesterol and msg and not gone at all.

Oh wow. I went to the grand opening of this place with a friend and I thought I had mentally blocked this visit until I stumbled across this review just now. Thanks again Unilocal. The food here is bad. Real bad. They specialize in seafood but anything sea worthy looks like it fell off the 99 cent store truck. Nothings fresh, hardly any sushi and most of it has a ton of veggies and hardly any fish. Service? What service? Didn’t know there was any. If you need something here, go get it. Anybody who voted to say this place has waiter service was dead wrong. Everything I tried either tasted to hard, to soft, or to much like shit to eat. NOT returning.

I’m not going to make one of those unimaginative jokes about how«crazy» you’d have to be to eat here; yet, in a way haven’t I already made a joke? This place is pretty horrible. Do not try any of their sea food dishes. It tastes like it has been stewing in its own juices far past its due date. The only things I feel okay eating are the fruit and dumplings. Everything else is beyond me. The environment is that of a Chuck E. Cheese ball pit. Expect a lot of families, kids, and parties.

This place is «okay» as in so-so. There’s a large selection of food, from traditional Chinese food to sushi and some American cuisine. I don’t trust the sushi and sashimi here, I’ve had it a few times and it didn’t taste fresh. They have or had raw oysters for dinner, and I got food poisoning from them. Serves me right from eating them from an all you can eat place I guess. Their hot food is decent, their entrees for the most part are flavorful. They have seafood as well as chicken and beef, they also have duck, mussels, different kinds of soup, dim sum and a wide variety of dessert. Most of the stuff is just okay, nothing special to distinguish this buffet from any of the other ones in the area.

This buffet is not tasty, and does not have fresh food! My family and I went to this restaurant since we saw a coupon in the newspaper. This was our first and last time eating here. The only good thing about this place was the Mongolian BBQ section. Time to try another buffet place…

Horrible buffet, I can’t believe this place was actually crowded when my family first went(must’ve been full of first-timers like us at the time waiting to see how terrible this buffet is). It’s been a LOOOONG time since I’ve been here so I don’t really remember much from this place at all, Except: –There was at least 1 good thing I remember eating… but too bad I forgot what it was. — WHATRESTAURANTSERVESCATFISHSUSHI?! CATFISHNIGIRITYPESUSHI?! –When I tried their Tuna nigiri, ITWASSTILLFROZEN! I tasted and felt the texture ice crystals in that piece of tuna. Gross. Horrible horrible buffet, NEVEREVERGO to Crazy Buffet, you must defnitely be insane/CRAZY to even thinking about coming here again after experiencing how horribly it is. I rather go to Todai, and Todai sucks too. That’s how bad it is.

This place is gross. We went here for my Father in Law’s birthday one year… OMFGBARF! That is not sushi, that’s not pizza, that’s not FOOD?! That’s broken food?! They broke the food and put it all over the counters! For people?! For people to eat?! OMG! If you want to go here, don’t, if someone says it’s good slap them then say no. Honestly this is one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten and I don’t like slamming places at all. But the waitress was rude, the food was overpriced and damn… they call that shit food?!

I’m going to tell you all right now the honest truth, I was there on easter with my whole family, and we saw A RATRUNACROSSTHEFLOORINTO A HOLEINTHEWALL. My dads friends wife flipped out, and all the supervisor told us was«oh the building is just old that’s all». I’ve lived in this area for the past 12 years, and the building that Crazy Buffet is in ISNOTOLD it got completely torn down then rebuilt before Crazy Buffet moved in. Do not goto this place, it needs to be closed down ASAP! This review is regarding the new Crazy Buffet located on El Camino Blvd. in Sunnyvale!

I liked this place. It’s not the greatest but it was a nice change. They had a lot of strange items(frog legs, pig intestines, chicken legs). They also have a Mongolian BBQ where you can make up a plate of what you want and they fry it in either garlic or hot sauce(or both). I went there with a couple of friends and we made it a guy night. I ate way too much. They have a large selection of fruit and a pretty good selection for dessert. They also have a cold foods section but nothing there looked real appetizing. They have a surprising amount of seafood but I didn’t really venture there either. They have a few nice sushi options and the sashimi was surprisingly good. They also have french fries and pizza if you’re in for some American. The chow mein was bland and so was the fried rice. I really enjoyed the sesame chicken and the spicy chicken. The service was friendly and they cleaned up often and quickly(even when my friend spilled a glass of Coke on my camera). I would recommend this place but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.
