Drs. Bui and Le Optometry

I’ve been going here for the past 5+ years and I absolutely love it. The employees are very friendly and efficient at their job. There is a large variety of frames as well as sunglasses. The order for glasses and contacts come in pretty fast as well. The place is very clean as well! My whole family goes here and we love the service and selection

I’ve been here 3 times. I’ve always had a good experience with them. My most recent visit, I was in and out in 15 minutes! I had my eyes checked, and then I gave them my old frames to get new lenses for them, and I was done. It took 2 weeks for me to pick up my glasses. Oh, this time, I also got my prescription without asking (I didn’t get it the last 2 times I went, but I never asked).
The receptionists and the doctors were all nice and friendly. Even though the parking lot is kinda small, I never had a problem finding parking there. The place is clean and organize.
Personally, the prices for lenses and frames are quite expensive compared to online prices, but I suppose that’s a given.
I would definitely come back for an eye check-​up, but I might buy my glasses online next time.

I have been coming here for a few years now and everyone is helpful and friendly. Once you have an appointment, everything is quick and simple. If you are looking for an optometrist, i would recommend this one.
Also, if you want a designer frame, there are many selections you can choose from.

I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember — probably over 10 years. Admittedly, I have a terrible memory. But I know for a fact that I have never, ever had a complaint about Dr. Le! (In fact, I always looked forward to going to the optometrist and briefly considered it for a career.)
Dr. Le is so sweet, as is the rest of her staff, and they’ve been there for me through thick and thin. Literally. Thick glasses (at one point I was –8.50 in both eyes)… thin contacts (where one of the girls sat with me for over an hour trying to help me get them onto my eyes for the first time)… and finally to congratulate me after my successful LASIK procedure this year, of which Dr. Le was always a big advocate for me.
While I haven’t lived in San Jose for a while, and I can no longer take advantage of her large selection of frames, I’m definitely going to continue to be a patient of hers!

Disclaimer: my review is solely based on their selection of frames. I had no interaction with Dr. Bui or Le. I received my prescription from another optometrist, but didn’t like the frame selection there, so I shopped around.
I visited about 4 different optometrists, and ended up with a pair of glasses here. They have a wide selection of frames, with high end designers (channel, fendi, burberry, gucci, etc) and more affordable selection.
The lady who was assisting me was very helpful! (I wished I took her name) I wanted a pair of dark ruby frames, and she pulled out 6 pairs for me to try on. She was very patient with me and advised me which pair was best for the structure of my face!

I’ve been coming here close to 10 years. The doctor is extremely nice and remembers personal things very well even though you only see her once a year. The ladies up front change from time to time.
They have a wide selection of designer eyewear. They even have MORE in the back. One time I guess they realized I was getting frustrated because nothing looked good on me so they brought out boxes of brand new shipments of Dior and Gucci from the back =).
Designer glasses are REALLY overpriced here. Yes, in general all optometry practices over price them however it seems like this office has them more overpriced than others I’ve seen. However most of us use our insurance so I guess it doesn’t matter.
They are generally really good at getting back your glasses in time. In the past they have it ready before it was even promised. However this last time I went it took longer than usual.
Oh and they are closed on Thursdays.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years. I am always treated well by the friendly and knowledgeable front-​office ladies, as well as by Dr. Le.
They have a good selection of fashion eye-​ware, and they can order anything you want. They file my insurance, and the cost isn’t exorbitant.
What more could you ask for in an optometrist?

The office of Drs. Bui and Le is in a sort of shady looking complex. It’s really nothing very fancy from the outside, or even on the inside, but they have a pretty sizeable selection of designer glasses. Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, Armani, Moschino and Burberry just to name a few.
Contact lenses are expensive here compared to Costco, but I paid with my insurance allowance so I guess it’s no biggie. My boyfriend ordered glasses here and it’s been 3 weeks since we went in for the exam and they still haven’t come. When I ordered glasses here last year, it took 2 weeks with transition lenses.
