I think my co-worker likes this place for their tortas. They get pretty busy at lunch so we called ahead. We were told 20 minutes. But ended waiting more like 35 minutes. For those who have a short lunch breaks, this sucks. So we had to bring it back to the office and enjoy while working. I got two tortas, one carne asada and one tripas. Piled high with meat, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and radishes. I think I preferred the carne asada to the tripe though. Everything tasted delicious. I think that’s part of the reason it takes so long — they make everything fresh and to order. It’s good but not sure if it’s worth the wait. I would come back and try it again when I’m not on a schedule. Plenty of parking in the back. The place is long and narrow with a few tables and counters. Cash only also.

The quesadillas and the sopes here are absolutely amazing! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The wait feels like forever but it is totally worth it because they make everything fresh. I would also recommend the mamey milkshake when it is in season it’s delicious

Best tortas and sopes in the area. Sopes made from scratch. Small place but the food is 5 star. If you like good food and not worried on area or appearance then this is your place!

So where to begin? I guess at the beginning 1. I have never eaten here. 2. Would never eat here. Today sitting in the parking lot I was wondering why there is so much water as we haven’t had rain in a few days. Well sit anywhere long enough and your answers will come. An employee came out of the back and just pours bucket after bucket of dirty water, on to the ground. So what drains not working? How do they triple wash and rinse, or for that matter sanitize the place. So just an observation made while eating next door. good, hot and fresh food next door.

My boyfriend was excited about eating at this place because his friend told him it was the bomb, but was disappointed. First of all, we waited for our food maybe around 20 min when we were the only costumers and secondly, my boyfriend food came out hard. I forgot what he ordered but his tortilla was so hard it would stab the inside of his mouth when he ate it. I got an al pastor quesadilla but it seemed and tasted more like ground beef. I wouldn’t say this place is all that bad, I just wouldn’t come back again though.

Menu selection consists of basic platters. Tacos, tortas, enchiladas, gorditas, and sopes. The tacos and gorditas are delish. I dont give this place 5 starts because the owner need to be friendlier. Mind you, I have been coming here for 3 years and his straight face remains the same. Be prepared with some cash in your pocket because they don’t take cards!

I came here with a couple of coworkers for a quick lunch break. At first, it seems like a very small place with not too much to offer, but it quickly became a very hospitable environment with a good food selection. The man at the register was very polite, and addressed me in a courteous manner. He even delivered the food straight to our table(we were a party of 6). The torta I had was amazing! Just the right amount everything. And the banana licuado I had was sweet and creamy perfection. Minus one star for only taking cash and no card. I think that they should take card, considering that their food is somewhat pricey. All in all, it was a good experience and I would definitely come back.

Do not go here. Literally the worst food I’ve ever had. The worst part is the service. The woman who worked there was extremely rude. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump

A complete ripoff paid 4.50 each for A kids size drink. Tortas hardly had anything on it. Waste of time and money stay away from this place.

If you’re looking for some delicious Gorditas, tacos dorados, or liquados this is the place to come! There are other food options but these are my go to items. This isn’t a fancy restaurant but you’ll love the food. The owner and employees are always polite and very helpful.

Easily a 4 or 5 star place if the guy(I assume owner) wasn’t so rude and randomly charging people for stuff that wasn’t charged before. Great food. Without a doubt a great place to get food. I went last week for the first time in probably 10 years. Ordered some burritos and some tacos. It did take a while as other have noted. I asked for jalapeños for my order and was given some without issues. I go again today and ordered a couple of burritos and again asked for jalapeños when I picked up my order and I heard the man ask someone in Spanish«how much should I charge him for them?». Obviously the jalapeños aren’t for sale or he’d know what to charge and he himself asked someone last week to give them to me and didn’t change me a thing. I don’t mind paying for them but to be inconsistent about it was such a downer. Also sucks that cash only. Does have an ATM inside though if you’re desperate.

Food is very tasty but portions are small and things get pricey. At first glance it seems inexpensive but since an order won’t fill you up because of the small portions the bill will pile up. They are also slow with orders since everything is made on the spot so be sure to order everything you want at once. Also watch out for the added extras, Jalapeños are 25 cents a piece! Extra cheese, $ 1.75! Extra Sour cream $ 1.75! Extra avocado $ 1.75 more! Are you kidding me?! Drinks smoothies and juices are $ 5 for the small cup and $ 10 for a large! Let me tell you this is wayyy more expensive than a large organic smoothie at Wholefoods. Heck way more expensive than organic fresh squeezed juice at Wholefoods. Watch out for those prices, I don’t know how they justify themselves for those prices, they use the cheap kind of gallon milk and frozen costo strawberries. Nothing organic so why they charge so much? Beats me but maybe some people pay for that.

Been coming here for 16 years. Amazing food. Amazing milkshakes. Sure it takes a while for you food to get to you but that’s only becuase they make everything fresh and by hand. Trust me the wait is worth it.

We visited the restaurant on a saturday afternoon and it was not busy, the place is really small, minimal décor and the service is slow but the food is delicious and worth the wait. In this restaurant you are going to feel like you are back in a small restaurant somewhere in tierra caliente Michoacan. They have the delicous tortas, I recommend a ham and cheese one(jamon y adobera), just like the one’s from Apatzingan. The tacos are great and the tortillas are hand made. The gorditas were okay, I had never had them before therefore I have nothing to compare them to. I did not try their licuados or jugos but they looked really good. Definitely recommend Fausto’s!

The only thing I’ve ever had here are the Gorditas w/chicharron and this is the only place I ever will… It’s loaded with tons of flavor, the meat is tender and the shell is fresh and crunchy. They are a small business, easily missed but a diamond in the rough. They cook their food fresh and right infront of you. Don’t let the neighborhood discourage you, well worth the price of a bomb gordita

My girlfriend took me here yesterday for some tortas as she used to come her a lot when she was younger. It’s a «whole in the wall» place that seems to be popular. I could tell it was authentic Mexican food being that I was the only white person in there. She ordered the Torta with ham and grilled Queso Fresco for the both of us. I agree with the other reviewers that it does take a long time to receive the food, but it was worth the wait. The torta was yummy! I thought the place was busy as every table was taken, but my girlfriend informed me that is wasn’t! Busy is with a line out the door and people having to eat while standing up. Overall: This place got as 3 stars because it was my first torta ever and I have nothing else to compare it to. My girlfriend remembered their tortas to be better in the past.
