This place is own and operated by the same people that run Da Hookah Spot in Palo Alto. But unlike Da Hookah Spot, this place is much larger, more spread out, and they use Khalil Mamoon hookahs instead of Mya hookahs. The quality of smoke and the volume of the rips are so much better in the KM hookahs. Like Da Hookah Spot, it’s a bit pricy. Then again, all of the hookah bars in downtown are. Go to Smoke This near SCU instead. They have better blends, and much better prices. As for me, I much prefer smoking out of my own 4-port Sahara Smoke hookah.

Came in a group of 4 and sat where chairs were available. The workers were very helpful in explaining their prices and selection of flavors. They also went around a lot, checking up on everyone making sure they were okay. So service was great, minus when I ordered a chai latte and it came probably 30 minutes later after I had to get up and stand around the register seeing if they had forgotten my drink. The drink was not even worth the 4 – 5 $. Tasted watered down with milk. But overall, my experience was good and the price we paid for it was worth it.

Broad choice of hooka flavours, friendly service, nice place to hang out on Friday night. Very international guests.

This was only my second hookah experience. By comparison, it was much better than the first hookah lounge I went to. The smoke seemed much less harsh at Hookah Nites. We ordered some Lemon Mint which was pretty good. The service was pretty quick except when we asked for the bill. It came out to about $ 7 a person which I think was more than worth it. It was difficult to work on my smoke rings since I was facing the door. Those who faced away from the door had better luck.

So let’s just say to have walked in here and then walk out $ 110 later with a hookah only means that services takes the cake here. Or blows the pipe, may be more fitting and funny? We were helped by the manager on a slow Tuesday, but really the space is nice. Open high ceilings, comfy couches, some dark mysterious lighting and you are good to go. A window seat is good to catch a prime view of people watching whether it be douchebags trickling out of WET Nightclub or the fabulous gays parading out Brix. Did the Lemon Mint and it hit the spot. Definitely a good place to take a reprieve in between, eating, dancing, drinking and the such.

Pros: –service has always been superb(attentive, nice, cool, polite, etc) –music and atmosphere(feels like a club, flat screens are present, couches are comfy, area is layout spaciously and intimately) — selection and quality of flavors(varied, delicious, exotic) –worth the price to feel and smoke like a king Cons: –slow on weekday nights –parking is scarce

Well… No one was there on a Friday night @ 8:00pm, which was good and bad? I miss having the crowded enviroment and feed off the energy. Hookah was. okay. Had the Blue Mist. After a while it got really harsh and we had to get it unclogged twice, and it gaves us a headache. As an avid Hookah smoker, I respect the quality of the mixes… but there’s something lacking that I can’t put my finger on. I used to enjoy this place last year.

This past weekend has been a blur… hell the past two weeks has been Hell. And what do I have to show for it. some of the oddest things that staff have said to me… staff~ it is good to see you again… are you feeling well rested since the last time you were here? me~ yes, yes I am. and a lot more sober. staff~ yes, but you are always welcome here, sober or a lot less than sober… would you like to sit back at the sofa that you slept at last time? me~ no thank you, i probably drooled all over it. staff~ *silence*grin*silence*

If all you really want to do is straight-up smoke, then this is definitely the place to be. It isn’t divey/dingy like other bars I’ve been to, and the service is attentive. No dirt and no frills, just great product. High ceilings, comfortable lounging couches, and a night of relaxation — I love this place for finishing off a buzz

On my recent trip back to the bay I decided to try out a different place with a recommendation of this place from a friend. My first impression was that the crowd that usually hangs out here might be a little older and mature than Shisha or Giza, or I might have just come on the wrong night. The hookah itself was average, but the staff was more than patient and accommodating. They change the coals often and are super friendly. The hookahs are shared between 2 people and are on the pricey side. Overall hookah = average, staff = super nice.

I have been coming here for 5 years and they have never ceased to impress me. I had a skeptical recent visit but its was mainly due to the lack of concern to my friend and I. I forgive them because the hookah we smoked was amazing. It had plenty of flavor and the smoking lasted for well over an hour with 2 people. The price is reasonable. your going to spend atleast $ 10 per person. A hookah and two drinks I would say but its all fair since Downtown San Jose can be hectic at times. The environment is nice and having a few LCD tvs hung up makes it enjoyable when your friends are boring or there arent any girls to look back at. Mind I say we went on a thursday and I was impressed by the selection :) Anyways, good job! 4⁄5 stars… Parking is not enjoyable and they need to be fair to each customer, especially when they ignore us for 15 minutes before taking our order on a not so busy night.

I’m not a common frequenter of hookah joints, but I’ve come into this place with friends a couple of times. Last time I was here, we had a pretty large group situated in the back area with the largest seating. We had all relaxed here with a couple of hookahs after leaving Agenda lounge on the corner of the block. The people working here are all nice, and they don’t have any rules on charging people who come in and don’t smoke which is good. Because I heard some other places are started to keep their profits up. The place has a unique décor because of the painted art work all over the walls. The menu itself is an artistic cornucopia of fruits and nature stuff, pretty cool to look at. I’ve tried the hookah here and it’s pretty standard, smooth enough to enjoy but not great enough to rave about. Hookah has strictly been social for me, so I only go if my friends drag me out. And I’ve heard that the hookah trend is dying down a bit, but it’s probably just the down economy.

So when I invited a few friends to go out for hookah last night, this is where we ended up at 1130pm. The Good: High ceilings are always a plus at a hookah bar. Mo, the coal guy. The third star is for him. The place wasn’t very crowded for a Saturday night. Fair prices, lasted the usual amount of time. The Bad: A VERY limited menu, shisa-wise. The décor and couches could use an update. The music was iffy. The WTF?: There was some guy outside on the sidewalk packing a gun. The videos on the wall were random unknowns that didn’t even match the music. They kicked us out at 2am sharp. Really? A hookah joint? So, I probably won’t be coming back here again unless I’m in dire need for a hookah night out and every other place in the Bay Area burns to the ground.

Went here during the summer… with people visiting out of town. This was the only place open late enough the night we were out. I wanted to go some place pretty, because that’s my preference this place was not that. There were 5 of us and they normally have 1 hookah for 3 people. Well. this is my first time going to a hookah place so I’m not familiar with average prices, though, the people I went with seemed well informed. For the 5 of us. we only wanted one hookah. so the place was going to charge for each additional person. On top of that, they charge for each person even if your just sitting. I guess. He ended up giving us a deal because we were going to leave and try out the other hookah lounge even though they closed earlier. First impression, the place isn’t great. Nice high ceiling but they don’t use this to their advantage. The music isn’t great. Couches were dirty, torn up, with spills… and the bathroom was completely disgusting. The point is, we all enjoyed ourselves and made the best of our situation. Also, I will NOT be going back here for there are other hookah places in the area where I am sure will be prettier décor, cleaner and have better service.

Comfy couches, fast service, friendly owner /employees, easy to get new coals /drinks /shisha orders, great mixed flavor suggestions from employees, music that isn’t so loud you can’t hold a conversation. Have always received 5 star service from Hookah Nites. Don’t see any reason to go elsewhere.

I don’t like this place at all. It feels super commercial, super horrible customer service, and not to mention that its loud as hell. When I go to smoke, I want to chill, not be hyped up on loud people and loud music. Did I fail to mention that their tobacco and coals are absolutely horrible?

Eh, its aiiight. I don’t like that it feels like a starbucks with hooka. I’m more into Giza on the other side of town. A dim lounge is a far better environment to hooka. Thanks for hooking us up though Ramal! They charged us for two instead of four. It’s great goin out with my lovely ladies!

Like Mrs. George from Mean Girls, my mom is not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom. She’d choose the dance floor over a dessert outing and the bar over board games. Needless to say, when she and my siblings came to stay with me for the weekend I had to plan creatively. I had to take them somewhere fun, somewhere different, somewhere so not Modesto. My mom had never heard the work hookah before, but after I explained it to her she was thrilled to try it. So off we went for a Sunday night hookah bar family extravaganza. My brother, sister, and mom really enjoyed the place. The big comfy couches, wall murals, dim lighting, and music made it feel very chill. It automatically sent us into a relaxed state, ready to sink in to the sofa and inhale fruity goodness. We shared one hookah between the 4 of us and it was more than plenty. Yes the prices are a bit steep, but that’s because the flavors are homemade and the tobacco is quality stuff. Besides that, the service is always excellent. Thank you, Hookah Nites, for a great night out with the fam. I’ll never forget the night I introduced my mom to world of hookah and the way she laughed at me for not being able to make O’s with the smoke I exhaled. I can still hear her saying«You can’t make O’s? What’s wrong with you?» Ha ha! P. S. I love stopping in to buy tobacco for home use. Perfect for those nights when I need a little liquor with my hookah for maximum relaxation. The staff is always helpful when I need assistance selecting flavors and have even thrown in free samples a few times. Delightful place, delightful people.

I really enoyed the hookah lounge. The employees were friendly and the atmosphere was really chill. They have a couple flat panel TV’s and a large projector screen in the back. Many couches to lounge on as well. I was in a group of 5 people so we ordered 2 hookahs since the limit to one hookah is 3 people. Since it was our friend’s birthday, they gave us an extra hookah for free! Came here after having another awful night at Vivid(i hate vivid). And it was a great ending to a not so great night. The flavors we had were strawberry, mango, and a special blend for our free hookah which was some kind of orange flavor. My fave is strawberry, but if you try the strawberry and mango at the same time, it’s even better! It’s very relaxing and the ventilation system works very well. I will definitely come back here but I don’t like the limitation on how many people per hookah. I think 3 people to 1 hookah is kinda shadey.

11:12pm… Its a work night, as Esco and I sit here, her churning away on projects and reports. Me, writing this review/yelping. Taking deep draws on some watermelon tobacco. Mmmmmm. Like inhaling a Now-or-Later candy in steamy form… … no, like… breathing watermelon tea… subtle, effortless, just barely perceptible… slight… lingering just below a typically Silicon Valley rushed. callous’d awareness. … slow down. … inhale. … hold that breath. … exhale gently. … don’t highten/tighten your senses… … simplify reality instead. … relax… Life… good times, great friends, incredible loves. That’s my high… ___________________________________________________ (HA! This so has next to nothing to do with the actual place, huh?) $ 17 bowls. Half price refills. Clean place. Good location. Non-sketchy clientele. Free wi-fi. Good hours. Added: DOPE soundtrack tonite; Biggie, Alicia, Kanye, Badu, Method, etc etc…
