Just don’t go here. Use your money elsewhere. The workers are quite rude and unsanitary. I ordered some chicken to go but after watching them make it I just didn’t want it anymore. When I expressed my sanitation concerns to the cashier, he yelled at me that I was«too picky» and went on to try to intimidate me into taking the chicken. My friend said to just let it go and so we took the chicken. However, once we started eating it, we realized that it wasn’t even cooked all the way. Soooo, I will not come back here.

For those that complain about the service, u must be white or want-a-be whites. First time here and the service is typical Vietnamese restaurant service. Avg and nice people. Its not trying to be a 5 star service restaurant so dont come with that expectation. If u cant speak any Vietnamese or have a Vietnamese friend to help then the odds are u shouldn’t go to 60% Vietnamese restaurants. It is what it is. Now for the food: Menu is very extensive. It will probably take at least 3 trips with a group 6 – 8 to taste all of the unique and interesting items on the menu that u dont usually find in san jose restaurants. Besides the typical fair, lots of seafood and a few games meats available. Us 2 tried the seafood fried rice, pig ear salad, and grilled wild boar. The fried rice was avg and a bit dry and bland. Pig ear salad was definitely good. Very flavorful. Wild boar was good but not great. Definitely a place to bring a group a friends for beer and food. Menu reminds me of what I would typically find in a big restaurant in vietnam. I’ll be back with a group to take down some grubbing. Updates to come…

I go here to eat with my family when we have a reunion. The workers are very nice and will do their best to help you if you ask for something. The food is mainly party food, in the sense that you share the food with many people. There is however, food that you can order for yourself. The atmosphere is very nice. They also have a karaōke room is the basement. You can book it for parties. The pricing for the food is kinda high for the quality of food you get.

Good«Chicken over rice» dish and the deer meat to grill on the table is decent. Customer service is excellent; they even gave us free ice cream. Definitely will come back to try other grill meat /dish

Went here when it just opened and it was relatively empty. I don’t think the location’s that great but the waiter was very welcoming. He kept staring at us eat the whole time and was overly friendly LOL. We got a coupon and decided to try it out. My mom got the goi ga and I got the rice with Korean BBQ. It was pretty good. The ice cream was alright.

This review is wayyy over due. I’ve been here like a thousand times by now. The food is amazing — and the service is a bonus. Can’t really complain. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Great legit Vietnamese food :)

I attended the parties here twice. In general the dishes were very descent good. I tried so many dishes: Grill clams, grill bloody clams, seafood hot pot, fried rice, and so on but my favorite is the Combination Seafood Platter which containing seven different kinds of seafood: lobster, clams, calamari, shrimps, etc. served with noodles. Yummy! Everyone should try this one. I think this dish serves a party of four as the main dish. You can enjoy more dish as you can handle more food. A plus is that there is a large karaōke room in the basement. You can sing, dance and eat at the same time. Oh, you can drink too.

Be careful for your to go order. This restaurant was not honest for my to go order. On my Bday, I ordered a special lobster to go so I can enjoy at home with my family. I ordered 3.5lbs lobster and cost me almost $ 100. We found out there were just pieces from head and claw, nothing from tail and the meet was not good as well, it did not taste as fresh lobster that you see it from the tank. I called them to tell them about the order and they said call back later. I ordered to go few times before and it was OK so that I came back for this time, I was so disappointed the way they serve and response to customer. Never go back this place.

Foods are ok and nothing special. It’s overrated by Vietnamese radio. Parking sucks. I don’t know how the hell a restaurant would charge a fcking $ 1 for 2 little to-go boxes while the amount on my tab was $ 85? I would say it’s a bad business there. No coming back for me.

The food here is unique and delish! However, I ordered chicken salad and got chicken feet(eek!) But the waitress fixed it right away. The chciekn salad was the best I’ve ever had. Yum! Had the blood clams and razor clams both of which were delish! Will return to try the mango and other seafood goodies. Oh, parking was very tight. Shucks.

My family and I found out about this restaurant through the Vietnamese channel commercials. The commercial and advertisement for this restaurant’s items seemed quite promising with their rice plates and chicken roti which caught my mom’s attention. Knowing me, I love trying new places. So, here I am taking my family out to dinner to experience diverse items from the vietnamese culture. Stepping into the restaurant, I noticed that LMP also collaborated and share the space with a Taqueria. At front, you can also order items from the menu from the Taqueria. They had carne asada fries, burritos, tacos, etc. They also had togo items from what I recall but unfortunately, I do not remember what items :( From what I recall, the menu was pretty long which gave me a longer time to choose from the menu… we ordered the Com Ga, Bun Cha Dong Xuan, and I had the Com Bo Luc Lac(shaken beef). The food came out and it did not look promising. :(It didn’t look anything like the picture I had imagined! My mother didn’t enjoy her food either because of it’s taste and lack of confusing flavors.(sorry mom…) I believe the only decent plate was the Com Bo Luc Lac that I ordered. Meat was tender and juicy but that was the only memorable thing of this restaurant. This place is ok. only because of my plate. Staffs here were definitely not attentive and they were no where to be found when we needed extra utensils, bowls, and etc. The food could have been much better. Sadly, won’t be coming back here :(

This restaurant was okay. Right when I walk in they greeted me to my table. I love how the waiter told me what food is good here. They have two different restaurants in one. I never went to a restaurant that have 2 in one. They have a Mexican and Vietnamese restaurant in here. A waitress went out to give me my food and she was wearing a ao dai. The fried rice in a pineapple was okay. It look pretty looking. Fried Rice don’t even look like its a fried rice, more like rice with eggs fried in rice with some shrimps and pineapple. Some of the table paper mates that they have, had grease on it and I didn’t even know when I put my phone down on it. Until I pick my phone back up.

Best vietnamese rice dishes places. They served a lot of food both in variety and quality. Try their bbq ribs and grilled Tuy Hoa chicken. They are the best here. The owner is very friendly and gave us free dessert for loyal customers. We will definitely come back for more bbq dishes.

Such a strange restaurant, Vietnamese and Mexican, but it’s not as weird as it sounds. They make pretty decent Vietnamese chicken dishes & have a variety of grilled hot pot dishes that you can make spring rolls out of. I also noticed a nacho cheese dispenser somewhere in the back with a case full of fresh chips & lots of whole roasted chicken dinners that people ordered to go. I wonder if I could get nacho cheese on my bun thit nuong? From what I remember, most of the dishes were pretty standardly priced($ 8-$ 10) and they had most of the usual suspects on the Vietnamese menu. The only Mexican dishes I saw were written up above the register and they mostly consisted of chicken entrees and whole chicken. It seems like they mostly serve Vietnamese dishes in the restaurant and do the Mexican ones to go, it’s hard to tell. They also have lots of smoothies and ice cream flavors for dessert, which are served in giant portions! I had green tea and mango ice creams that were both really great!

A Vietnamese and Mexican restaurant combined. A little odd but the owner was very friendly and helpful. The service was nice as well. My family and I ordered a couple smoothies along with 6 different plates. The smoothie list had about 10 different options but only 4 were actually available. We weren’t able to get what we wanted because they did not have it… When the smoothies came out, they tasted watered down and filled with sugar. Definitely not what I wanted. The food, on the other hand, was just mediocre. Nothing special. Just typical. There are many different options on the menu. It might be a little odd for people who aren’t familiar with Vietnamese food. Everything in this restaurant is definitely over priced. My bill came out to be over $ 100! I most definitely will not be coming back.

Vietnamese? Mexican? Purse store? Optical shop? Confusing… I tried the Vietnamese food, it was okay & an adventure. I made my own spring roll. The owner was very nice & helpful. I didn’t know what I was doing. Our server, although young & didn’t speak English very well tried hard to please us. The food took awhile to come out. There were only 2 other customers. The restaurant is clean & decorated nicely.

Have mexican and vietnamese food. The vietnamese is more of the sit down menu food. While the mexican foods are more like you order at the cashier with their blackboard menu but you can eat inside the restaurant too This place is simple and clean. Friendly service Order: 1. Chicken salad. Cost 8.95. Its a bit pricy for the among of serving they gave. 2. Grilled shrimp with fish sauce. Comes with 6 sticks, each stick had 2 shrimps. Cost 9.95. Its an okay price. 3. Grilled catfish with coconut, small size but it takes a while to cook. It comes with vegetables/noodle and rice papers so you can make your own spring roll. Its 32.99 so its a but pricey. the foods were decent. it is a place you can come with your family for lunch or dinner. Their food are pretty much average. there’s a parking lot here
