Okay I might be but picky here, but I was in a rush today. With the clientele that sometimes shows up to this place, you might wonder about their hygiene. However, I still went here for a quick bite as I was in a rush to get to my next place to go. Some guy came up and took my order/bag and walked away. Came back and had his hand in the bag and said it wasn’t his. The clerk said it was mine and gave it to me. I asked to get new food since I have no idea what that guy was doing. The latina lady was not too happy, but the manager helped out with the situation. So to refill the fries the lady dumped the fries from the fry container and re-used the same container to more fries in!!! LOL. Then supposedly I got a new burger, and they gave me the same coke back! Needless to say I took it and then dumped it in the trash and told them to keep the coke as I was going to be late for my next place I was heading to. Better to just starve. Maybe I could have eaten it and been fine, but I’m not sure you really want food that could be questionable or when people are using the same container a customer with questionable hygeine had.

They mess up orders often and I have gotten into a bit of a quarrel with a couple of their staff members(a young lady in the drive thru and one of their managers) for giving attitude, and messing up my order consecutively. My first job was at McDonalds, so I do feel their pain, but people with attitudes don’t belong in the food industry. They also have a lot of drug attics, drunks, and homeless people who love to hang out by the side entrance and in the parking lot, which makes you not want to go inside. Especially if your a woman and its late at night.

My dad and I landed here by accident while driving along the unfamiliar zig-zag residential areas after looking at some open houses near by. I parked and turned to my dad and said, «Be careful, I think we’re in the ghettos, I don’t know where the hell we’re at right now. There’s a few sketchy people loitering in the parking lot. When you open the door, be watchful of that drunk guy sitting under the oak tree by our car, drinking and loudly singing. I know you’re friendly and everything and he may offer you a swig but please don’t smile at him. Also, ignore that really weird older lady standing by the outdoor unisex bathroom. She looks pretty cracked out. Let’s just eat and go. I really don’t wanna die today.» Next thing I see is Bascom Ave. Wait a second, what on earth… Bascom Ave? Valley Medical Center??? Com Tam Thanh Vietnamese restaurant??? By George! We’re right by civilization this WHOLE time? «Oh My God… this is actually our hood Dad!!»

Don’t like the food here, I usually drive for 3 – 5 miles when I want to get a Mc sandwich or a milk shake. A guy got killed inside this place for god sake.

The food is typical Mcdonalds quality, but the homeless who live in there make it seem unsanitary. Avoid like the plague… you just might get it.

I never come here because they charge a to-go fee. One reason not to go here. Food is like every mcd’s. i drive to the one on stevens creek because they dont have a fee. i guess this one does because its by a college.

Due to its location this location can have some skeezy inhabitants. Other than that it’s a pretty normal McD’s

I got off late from work one night, and stopped by McDonald’s to grab dinner for my boyfriend and I, since I was too tired to make dinner at home. I just wanted to get some grub, eat, and pass out. I went through the drive-thru, ordered my stuff, and everything seemed fine. Luckily, I checked the bag before leaving, and I was missing a small french fry. Granted, I probably could have gone without, but I did pay $ 1.29 for them, so I pulled around and went inside. The manager, a sweet latino lady, immediately bagged the fries, and even threw in a free«baked pie.» I’m not giving them 4 stars merely because she gave me a free pie, but for how nice she was, and apologetic even for the smallest mistake. They really have good people, and good customer service at this location! Being a person in the restaurant industry, it’s nice to receive good service after doing the same all day!

This is one of the main fast food stops for Del Mar High School students, Valley Medical Center workers, and San Jose City College students. It’s near a liquor store, bus stop, 7 – 11, and a hospital, so this spot naturally has a lot of random people. It’s pretty much like any McDonald’s, with a few spots for outdoor seating(next to the bus stop). Many bums and shady people like hanging out around these tables. Back in high school, I was having some food with two friends at the outdoor table closest to the bus stop(all tables were taken) when a ragged looking fellow walked up to our table… He basically said this to us: «You ain’t gonna trip, right?». We honestly had no clue what was he talking about, and then he basically took out a book and some«stuff» and started cutting up a few lines. Suffice to say, we left that table in a hurry. This is the best McDonald’s ever.
