Mountain Mike’s Pizza

Very salty pizza, salty & sour garlic breads, and very salty chicken wings. Plus NOT so kind people. I don’t understand what the heck they speak!

I went in on Sunday afternoon during super bowl playoffs about 1:00.p.m. I went in to watch the game, and grab either a salad, or pizza. I entered the building and NO TV’s on, NOBODY in the entire place. The person in the kitchen didn’t say a word to me. So, I thought, ok… will see about a salad. Went to the salad bar, and looked. Everything was OLD and wilted. The dressing had a film on it, and the potato salad looked like it had been sitting for days. The Kitchen person still didn’t say a word. So, I left. I should have gotten a clue when I walked in and nobody was there, and no TV’s going during a play off game.

Mmmm, it’s no wonder this place has 2 and a half stars.
Amir is a complete idiot.
He can’t take an order. I ordered a large everest a small hwaiian with jalapenos and hot wings. Simple, right? Not if you’re Amir.
I got 2 large half hawaiian half everest pizzs and boneless wings. WTH? Which cost nearly $ 60! 53 and some change.
You had ONE job Amir. And at this rate you won’t for much longer if you don’t get your ish together.
I sent my husband in, because I had a cold and didn’t want to get down. And he comes back with the above said order. So I HAD to get down.
When I did, I demanded a refund for my wrong, cold order. Amir was, of course unwilling to do that. Stating he «saved» me $ 12 on my order.
So wait a minute, this (sh**ty) meal nearly cost me $ 70??? Ummmm, it’s pizza! And crappy pizza too.
Skimpy toppings and undercooked.
Not to mention he would take money then go back to cooking in the kitchen without washing his hands. GROSS!
I wasn’t the only angry, disappointed customer tonight I heard another young lady saying she’d been waiting a long while for her dine-​in meal. My husband overhead another lady as well asking for het order as well.
Amir, who was kind enough to spell his name for me, because it’s nearly as complicated as my order, did refund my money for the boneless wings, which I didn’t order. Of course, that with his cocky, entitled attitude didn’t deter me from writing this lovely Unilocal!review.
If you want delicious pizza this is DEFINITELY NOT the place. However, I would highly recommend the Mountain Mikes on Aborn. Great pizza and EXCELLENT customer service.

I would give a 0 star review if I could, the big Arabic bald man that works there is the biggest grump ever,
he is so rude. I don’t recommend this round table location to anyone.
Misserable customer service.
Avoid this place at all costs.

I haven’t had any bad experiences here. I just can’t give it more stars because for some reason I always spend a small fortune here, even with the specials. Prices aren’t worth it.

Don’t order from Unilocal app as mountain mikes said they never got the order. They are now in process of trying to expedite order.
Otherwise you will never get your pizza. I guess I’m writing again because after my waiting two hours, Girl online just pretended like my pizza was on its way to get me off the phone. She basically lied because she didn’t want to deal with an obvious issue. When I called back I asked her to state specifically when pizza was getting delivered and that is when the guy told me after waiting 5 minutes that Unilocal never gave them my order thru the delivery app. I even saw the note from the app that said my delivery was sent!
However the person online didn’t even offer to reduce the cost but just said he would expedite my new order down to 35 minutes. That is low enough to stop my leaving my house to get food but I’m still really upset and very very hungry. I think I should have received drinks for free or pizza half off for how annoying that girl was to tell me my pizza was on its way when she knew it wasn’t.
Anyway the girl needs to be told that it is part of her job on phone to be customer service and try to find a solution to an obvious issue.

If you like to wait two hours for pizza delivery then this is your place. Ordered pizza at 4:45 pm online off Unilocal and didn’t know I would still be waiting at 6:47 pm. I’m starrrrvving! Person online just said they were «really busy». I didn’t see anything about half off on pizza today on online orders. She said they were out for delivery on my pizza. I’m seriously starving.

I’m really surprised at all the bad reviews. I came here by accident, I was looking to kill time during rush hour traffic.
I came here and everyone was very friendly, the pizza was delicious, fresh ingredients.
The salad bar looked freshly prepped and good. Even though I didn’t order any salad, it did look appetizing. I ordered the veggie pizza with artichokes. It was so good I ordered extra to take home and it was a hit at home as well. I would deff eat here again.

Tuesday’s are a great deal. Customer service has always been fair. I rarely dine in. They have never messed up my order no matter how confusing it is. Compared to other mt. Mikes in the area they are the most friendly and consistent in quality.

This place is tucked away in the corner of the square. It’s worth the find. The pizza is great and they have 50% off on Tuesdays. My kids loved the buffalo wings and just like any good hangout, the game was on multiple TVs. You can tell that they are redesigning the place to make it more appealing to everyone. I love the chicken garlic pizza myself and they do not disappoint.
Bottom line is if you want a good hearty pizza give it a go.

Best place in San José to watch sports, eat and have fun.
The lunch special is awesome and the people has a great customer service !!!

Let’s just say gross this place needs to shut down I called and placed an order and the rude manager Amir just argued with me making excuses why my pizza is late horrible establishment

Absolutely horrible and dirty the manager is rude salad bar is dirty no ice and all soda was out of syrup. Went in and there were 8 dirty tables while there were only a couple people there the manager made excuse that he was busy thats why they weren’t clean and then he was on phone arguing with a customer because her pizza was an hour late. Told him to cancel our order and get a refund because of no ice and dirty tables everywhere. he rudely said to the cook «cancel their order they don’t want to wait 2 minutes for ice» three words to describe this awful establishment HORRIBLE DISGUSTING and RUDE

There’s a banner outside that says «new management», but the customer service I received from the heavy-​set bearded man was the same old rude service as before. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again.
BTW, there was leftover Lunch Buffet pizza on the buffet line. We were there at 5:00 pm and those pizzas are at least 3 hours old! So gross!

HOOOORRRRIIIBBBBBLEE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM REGINA!
My mom walks in first and says we have a party of 15, she gets the death stare of annoyance and inconvenience from Regina. Its 100 degrees outside, my mom asks why it’s hot inside? She is told the AC is broken, she then asks if they can turn on the fans above the tables and Regina says they are broken. I walk in and ask about the small party room that’s empty with the lights shut off and Regina says «you have to make a reservation ahead of time!» I say but there isn’t anybody there and she says «it doesn’t matter you have to call ahead of time!» She’s full of attitude and a short temper! I’m like woah! The Dr. Pepper and Pepsi are out of order! The salad bar is a ONE TIME deal, meaning it’s not all you can eat salad bar for dinner time, you pay $ 6 and you can only go ONCE! The way all of these inconveniences are being relayed to us by Regina is so rude, I ask her what’s with all the issues going on today and what’s with her attitude? She says «I don’t know I just work here okay!» I’m like wow, ok lady!
The pizza: after all that ridiculousness, the pizza is actually very good! We just got pepperoni but it’s very tasty, hot and fresh!

This location is TERRIBLE. I came here with a friend to have their lunch buffet and that was a mistake. The place wasn’t clean as there was crap on the floor and many tables sitting empty that hadn’t been bused in obviously some time. The place was staffed by a couple bored looking guys that didn’t seem to care that there were about 8 – 10 people who had paid for the salad and pizza buffet, and that both said buffets were pretty much empty. When they’d finally bring a pizza out (twice while we were there) there would be a mob rush to grab a slice and then it’d be empty again.
The pepperoni that they’re ‘famous’ for with 100+ pieces a pizza, had maybe 20 pieces. When I asked why they didn’t have a batch of like 5 pizzas in the oven to catch up with the obvious demand for their ‘all-​you-​can-​eat’ all I got was a shrug and something along the lines of ‘We’ll have more out soon, bro’. Sorry ‘bro’, does taking care of the customer mean anything to you or are you too busy playing grab-​*** with your buddy?
Staff doesn’t care, and I didn’t get what I paid for. I WON’T be coming back, and as much as my friends tell me other locations are good I think I’ll find pizza from another business that actually cares about the customer.
Do yourself a favor and go to another location. Avoid this place till management figures out that their staff is completely worthless.

I ordered two large pizza’s today and they were made awesome! The girl at the front was super friendly and helpful! I always enjoy coming here either to eat in or to go!

GROUPON WARNING: the manager would not honor the Groupon in full terms, customers be aware!
I normally hate to write one-​star reviews as it hurts business that people actually take time and work hard for, but with how I was treated I felt obligated to do this one.
We bought a groupon with Paintball and it says explicitly on the voucher on that it offers 50% off for all dine in or carry out purchases.
We called a couple times ahead of time to make sure that this was valid, but at the time of picking up, the manager Lenos refused to honor the groupon and insisted he would only do 25% for take outs.
We showed him the groupon’s fine print and he still refused to do so, adding that he should have taken back the 25% and told us don’t ever go back as he does not care about our business.
Very well, with the lack of business honesty, this will be the last time. We appreciate the fight and high level of noise received for a first time customer, and all for less than $ 20.
Seeing how horribly this place has been rated I believe the manager does not care, all I can do is to urge you to not come to this location!

Can you do zero stars? DO NOT ORDER ONLINE OR EAT HERE! I’M AN EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED AND FRUSTRATED CUSTOMER!
I ordered online: two cheesy breadsticks with 2 ranches and a bottle of water.
I got a call on a cell phone from a different number than that of the actual restaurant location I ordered from saying they don’t carry water bottles. She stated the delivery driver didn’t speak good English and he wouldn’t have been able to explain and that’s why she called.
I agreed to switch to a liter of soda instead…
My «order» arrived an hour and a half later and it consisted of the liter of soda and 6 measly cold gross tasting breadsticks and one ranch.
I was expecting the 2 pizza boxes full of delicious cheesy hot breadsticks and two extra ranches that I ordered. The delivery guy acted oblivious to my actual order and he had two sketchy incorrect order receipts.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience from this Mountain Mikes, I won’t ever be ordering from them online or in general ever again! Disappointing!
After asking for a refund, the owner proceeded to yell at me and deny me the refund… And then he told me not to call back and then he hung up on me! What an asshole!

Thoroughly annoyed. I ordered pizza at 3:28, the were out of pepperoni so I substituted linguica. Ok. it happens. The girl told me it would be 60 minutes for delivery– It took over an hour and a half. i called to check and was told that two big parties came in and so they needed the delivery guy «to stay and help here because we got slammed.» By the time the delivery guy arrived, he was out of peppers and cheese and gave me a pizza box soiled with grease on top– and the pizza was cold and stale. I’m guessing they made the pizza and then waited over an hour to deliver it. …

I have ordered from this Mountain Mike’s 3 times– enough to know it is AWFUL! They put Cheddar on their pizza (which others do not); the last time (which is THE LAST TIME I will get pizza from this location EVER), I got a pizza here, I ate one piece & it went in the trash. Their franchise should be shut down. They don’t even come close to the quality of the others. And I dont know if the man I’ve dealt with was the owner or manager, but he was incredibly rude. BTW: the delivery people at this location are tops. Too bad the pizza stinks.
Thankfully, the Santa Teresa location is great and everyone is nice. The owner is so friendly and very customer-​oriented. Go there!
