enjoyed a very good meal tonight with my family. Friendly, prompt service throughout the night. All our dished were served promptly and hot. Mongolian beef, Orange chicken, and eggplant were all spot on. My one challenge was the food was on the salty side. Next time I would explore the alternatives on less salty options. Classy place and not too loud to be able to carry on a regular conversation.

5 stars for service 1 for food That gives an average of 3stars. Very nice and sweet waiter who recommended the medium rare Mongolian beef that’s probably the only good dish of the night. We ordered the lettuce wrap and fried string beans. Skip the lettuce wrap, not worth it. For entrées, we ordered the lobster fried fries, Mongolian beef, chicken, Singapore noodle, and salmon. Among these, the Singapore know was very salty, the Mongolian beef original style was super salty and not at all very good. The fried rice was very bland, and both the fish and the chicken was a very dry. Luckily the original order of Mongolian beef was the wrong order, because the waiter had recommended medium rare Mongolian beef and that was the only saving grace of this meal. For dessert we order the cheese cake, the fried banana, and the chai cobbler. Of these I recommend the chai cobbler and the fried banana.

So I have to say that our server John helped make our evening very enjoyable and gave us great service. Our food was the right temp and good flavor which to me, makes for a yummy combo. I had the Oolong Chilean Sea Bass, light in flavor and most important, cooked to perfection(I hate over cooked, dried out fish). This was a good size portion(I could have shared but didn’t). There were plenty of smiles at the table and empty plates.

I finally sat down and had time to write a review on this place, so here goes nothing. Well, I had heard good reviews about this restaurant from friends so I urged my boyfriend for us to have dinner there. He was hesitant since he never really cared to eat here but I kept on lol big mistake. First off, the wait was not 50 mins, it was an hour and 30 mins. After we were finally seated, our waitress took our drink order and we kept looking at the menu. She brought our drink out and we just went with the dinner for two deal they have. We got our lettuce wraps as the appetizer, we each had one bite and didn’t touch it after. There was just water chestnuts and some kind of sauce in lettuce – no thanks. Our waitress noticed we didn’t touch our appetizer and offered another in its stead if we weren’t happy. I felt really bad to send it back, but I wanted to be honest and also get my moneys worth, too. The second appetizer came out but it wasn’t what we ordered so once again, we were waiting. At this point my bf was really agitated but I really wanted to wait for the main course. Our dumplings tasted like they were frozen – huge turnoff. We eventually got our Pad Thai and Mongolian Beef, we did not finish those plates either. The Pad Thai was ok, but the beef was dry and stringy – I have braces so that was just yuck. When my bf asked for the bill, I stayed quiet since our waitress was really nice and I didn’t want her to get in trouble or anything. However, the person my bf managed to flag down was the manager for the night so we were honest with her. We let her know that we just had a not so awesome experience and even mentioned that we were actually still hungry but just wanted our bill and leave. She was sympathetic and waived our bill and even gave us a gift card. We really enjoyed the service(despite the long wait) but the food was way overrated and we probably won’t be back.

This was the third time I have sent a complaint to their corporate office, and now I’m letting everyone else know, SKIPTHISLOCATION, it is THEWORST, and the only reason I gave it 1 star was because I had to. They have messed up my daughter’s food on 3 different occasions, this time it was ICECOLD, the sweet and sour chicken was 5 pieces of dry, chicken, without sauce and more broccoli than chicken, the lo mein had 4 pieces of chicken, they completely forgot my sushi, the salmon was dry, the brown fried rice with extra chicken was white, with extra carrots and 4 pieces of chicken not extra. I mean seriously…3 complaints, and every order was over $ 50. Clearly, customer service, and people spending money means nothing to them. They need to just close this location altogether and do us all a favor because they are giving the restaurant a bad reputation. THEYSUCK!!!

BLUF: Extremely average Americanized Asian fusion food that is far overpriced. Not worth even the wait but the best foods out of what my party ordered were the wonton soup and the low mein. This is the second time I’ve come to the Oakridge PF Chang’s and was sorely underwhelmed comparing to what I remember from the last time I was here. I generally do not go to PF Chang’s particularly because all the alternatives I have. if I want quality Chinese food, I have a plethora to choose from in the Bay Area and if I am looking for cheap comfort food, Panda Express tastes the exact same as PF Chang’s, and it is much cheaper. The only reason I went this trip was because my mom had received a gift card for PF Chang’s so we decided to change things ups and give it try. From my memory, the previous time I came, I recall that even though the food was average, the presentation was what set PF Chang’s at a 3 – 4 star range. However, this time, there was no such thing and the meal was simply dumped onto the plates even though it was served after a long wait. Out of all the food that I ordered, two dishes stood out. First, the low mein was relatively good, a combination of noodles stir fried with veggies and chicken(your choice of meat). The noodles were at the right texture of firm yet chewy and the chicken was juicy. But to be honest, there wasn’t much zest in the plate. On the other hand, the pepper steak was GODAWFUL. Our waiter had told my grandmother that it was similar to Korean BBQ short ribs. In honesty, it was like comparing burritos to falafels. Not even close. I don’t know if he actually had Korean BBQ before or if knew what short ribs looked like. According to their menu, the pepper steak is flank steak tossed with yellow onion, red, and green bell peppers in a garlic and black pepper sauce but it was plain disgusting. It was over cooked and burnt beef with salty and overpowering pepper sauce. The setting was pleasant but that’s the only plus for this location. In all honesty, I won’t be returning. If I get another gift card, I will be promptly regifting to someone I don’t quite like…

Came in today for lunch and was seated immediately! Our waiter Jonathan was very helpful and attentive! We ordered the 4 course meal for 2. It came with hot and sour soup for two, chicken lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, chicken pad Thai, and cheesecake for dessert. All of the food was great but the best part was our waiter! Jonathan was very friendly and made our lunch amazing!

Really disappointed! The food quality at P.F. Changs has gone down. We ordered the crab wontons as an appetizer, sweet and sour pork and the lo mein. The wontons tasted like they were in the refrigerator too long, no sauce in the sweet in sour pork and the dessert was a hot chewy microwaved mess! The only reason we came was because we had a gift card. We are not coming to this place again.

Check out because Santa Clara County Health inspectors shut PF Changs on 12/23/2016.

Our server was awesome! I actually didn’t catch his name! The host was merp! The food was so freaking disappointing, it just went so downhill from what I remember. Chow mein was bland, the fried rice was bland, Kung pao chicken was okay so was beef broccoli. So not worth the $ 85 I will NOT be coming back here it’s just not the same food quality. Sucks!

If your girlfriend is craving Panda Express, but you’re feeling fancy for tonight take her here. Food quality is at Panda Express level, but the price makes the whole experience fancier. Not only that, but the host never said, «Thank You,» as we walk out of the restaurant.

I was at this PF Changs for happy hour today after BJs lost power. Clearly they were swamped but the bartender, Allison, handled it all. She took such good care of us. I hardly had to ask for a thing!

This place is alright. Nice looking restaurant but they have small-portioned, salty, overpriced«Asian» food. I didn’t expect to get much out of a place that looks like this and calls themselves an Asian fusion/Chinese restaurant, but I came in with an open mind thinking that maybe their spin on things would be unique and good. We ordered an item that was listed under sushi, but turns out it was just ahi with wonton crisps. When we told our server that we thought it was a sushi roll, he wasn’t very friendly about it and claimed it was basically sushi… but it was a dish that didn’t even have rice in it. So wasn’t a big fan of the service either. Was pretty disappointed with my overall experience, probably won’t be coming back.

The happy hour menu is very good! The good is great, and the waiters are very nice. The location is very busy, so parking can be difficult.

(Bit of fraud going on here. Read 6th paragraph) To be honest, PF Changs really grew on me. It’s one of my husbands favorite spots to eat. This location used to have excellent service and food was tasty. I’ve noticed service has gone down. I dont know why though, the volume seems steady but not busy. We eat here quite often. I guess what I mean, is that it’s not crazy busy like Cheesecake Factory or Bj’s. Our last experience was definitely not a good one. I have to admit, I hate eating late at restaurants. I feel bad holding the server up when I know they want to go home. However, my husband, younger siblings, and I were school shopping and hanging out. We were seated around 9pm. We were seated fast and the restaurant was barely half full. Not that busy right?.. Well 9:45pm came and we had done so much in that amount of time. We all used the restroom, ran to a near by store(a must buy, sorry! Lol), washed my hands again and we all had refills. By then, we were really hungry. My husband was ready to complain. Took forever to even find the server to complain. Then, our food finally came out. He was going to complain since it was pretty slow and it took forever for two entrees and an appetizer. The server was ok, but the food took forever. It was slow and we were hungry. Since we were going to complain and not happy with the wait. We thought the tip we gave was pretty reasonable. THEN, a few days later; I reviewed my bank account and noticed a difference in the amount I had written on my receipt copy. I realized the waiter took more in tip. My original total meal amount — the amount that cleared my account = fraud. I didn’t authorize the amount that went through on my bank account. I called to let the manager know what had happen. I told her that I am a frequent customer. We eat here at least twice a month(Oakridge mall shoppers). The manager and I both agreed that the tip amount was very clear on the receipt. I tip based on my experience. If it’s not a great experience, you will definitely know. Waiting 45 mins for lettuce wraps, and two entrees with hardly anyone in the restaurant is ridiculous. We’ve experienced better service. The service gets worse every time though. I’ll eat here again but only for my husband. At this point I don’t think he’d want to eat here. He wasn’t happy at all. It wasn’t the dollar amount that annoyed me(I did want to give JESSICA a better tip but I do tip on experience), it was the principal of the matter. I hate fraud not cool PF Changs! FYI, KEEPYOURRECEIPTS! (I used to work for a bank, I know fraud)

So surprised! Servers in blue jeans sloppy shirts on hostess and phone out the back pocket. Definitely not worthy of a «nice upscale restaurant». Only gotten to the lettuce wraps that we sent back because the lettuce was warm and wilted. Let’s see how dinner goes. Will keep u poste Well dinner is over. Maybe I will come back in another 5 years. But on an up note our server Stephanie was great

The P.F. Chang’s on El Camino is better!!! Okay, I have to write something about this place because now that I’ve been to both, I have noticed quite the difference in food quality from one place to the next. This is a chain and supposed to be the same experience/taste/quality/portion. Here’s what we ordered and how it was different compared to the one on El Camino(Sunnyvale location) 1) Orange edamame was bland and tasted a bit old/stale. 2) Chicken Lo Mein was noodles with 5 small pieces of chicken(WETOTALLYCOUNTED!) and didn’t have much garnish at all. 3) chicken lettuce wraps were okay but the crunch rice sticks were stale. So these items were the same items we’ve ordered before at the other location with way different quality. I’m not one to complain about my food because I prefer not to have the waiter or the cook spit in my food.(I’d rather not risk it!) So, we ate what we could and left the rest to the rats to dine on. Unfortunately, I was very unimpressed by the Oakridge location. I thought all chain restaurants should have the same quality of food. Especially if they are only a few miles apart!

PF Chang to sum it up is one of those places where the food isn’t quite as good as you recall from the first time. A breakdown of the dishes our group had + yay/nay 1) Chicken Lettuce Wraps: YAY; A good tasty yet guiltless type of appetizer to share. Not a fan of water chestnuts but it blends in with the chicken mix 2) Salt & Pepper Calamari: NAY; This dish needs a face-lift. A poor excuse for a batter and quite frankly something a novice cook could make better at home. 3) Northern Style Spare Ribs: NAY; Although the rub seasoned through in the taste of the ribs, the ribs were overcooked and resulted in a jerky-like texture. 4) Mongolian Beef: YAY; one of the better dishes we selected. A good-based sauce, slightly overdone but it worked. 5) Shrimp Pad Thai: NAY; The shrimp was as scarce as rainwater this year in CA. Also rather on the bland side as well. 6) Salted Caramel Cake: YAY; Not a cake fan and probably my least favorite dessert but this cake was off the charts good. Almost was like a cheesecake as how it wasn’t fluffy but compacted down. Noise Level: Rather loud as their are no partitions or high ceilings to assist in filtering out the sound. Service: Despite it being a busy Saturday night crowd, our server was very good. We received our drinks and food within a reasonable timeframe. TONOTE: My one complaint is to the parents sitting behind us. Either discipline your fugly kid or allow me to do it myself. The little sh** kept drumming the table like he was in a rock band.

Great experience this weekend at PF Chang’s. We walked in with 30 minutes to get a drink and an appetizer before a movie, and we left with ten minutes to spare. We ordered two drinks, the lettuce wraps, and the spring rolls. Our waitress said it shouldn’t take too long, so we would make the movie. She was right. Food was great(lettuce wraps are amazing, but you should already know this). Our drinks were fast and perfectly mixed(not weak). Only negative thing about the experience. I’m not sure if it was because we were in the bar area, or if its standard procedure now, but when we got the lettuce wraps, they didn’t come with the sauces(that they used to mix at the table). We did ask, and she brought them very quickly, but again, did not mix for us. We had to guess how much of each to put in. I used to like that they’d mix it for you… oh well!
