Loved the pastries, without a doubt it fulfilled my sweet tooth cravings. And only at around $ 2ish something dollars, amazing.

I love eating Pan from Pink Elephant. My parents took me here every Sunday after church and now I take my family too. I hope my kids keep up the traditions going…

Tres Leches. By the by, they also offer Tres Leches in these other flavors: — Mocha(Yuck! just my commentary on Mocha in general and not on the Tres Leches Mocha) — Guava(seasonal July — September) — Mango(seasonal April — June) I can only speak for the Regular, as that’s the only one I tried. I thought it was good, but not great for these reasons: 1) It wasn’t wet enough, the milk penetrated about half the way(it seems like it needed more time, or aging) 2) It wasn’t «hing» enough; if there are any cantonese speakers, can you describe this? It’s kind of like fragrant, but in taste form. You know it when someone does egg or milk custard or flan right. This was what the wife noticed. Surprisingly, Costco, when they had it, did a great tres leches. 3) This was very, very minor, but they didn’t have the box to fit my cake. I got the 6″ and they gave me a box that was like double the size, didn’t fit in my cooler, all around nightmare, albeit a small one.

Best Bakery in town. Always spot on with the flavors, timing and design. Doesn’t get any better than this. Pricing is incredible for what you get also.

Best tres laches and flan I found in the town. Folks at the counter are sweet. They are not fluent English but great at baking. A must try!!!

I was recently gifted a Tres leches guava cake! Yum yum! At first, hearing tres leches plus guava, I was hesitant. But I was gladly surprised. My s/o asked what cake I would like for my birthday: guava it is! I thought he was ordering a cake I’ve got in the past(from a different bakery in San Jose) but the box didn’t look familiar. Guava and mango is a summer/seasonal flavor. I’m interested in the mango tres leches cake. And online ordering is very convenient.

Love love love this bakery! We have ordered a few tres leches cakes and they are always so good… I do wish they were as moist as the slices they sell. I recently tried the pan dulce… I don’t know why I waited so long to try them… But better late than never right? Can’t wait to go back for more.

I decided to grab some baked goods while traveling back to school. Pink Elephant was not only conveniently located off the 680⁄101 junction, but had really good Unilocal ratings as it stands. I am more than glad I made this little pit stop – because had I not, I would have never discovered this gem. The tres leche slices were such a treat! While they offer different flavors with their slices, the flavor doesn’t overpower the essence of the tres leche which I love. The pan dulce is amazing too. I don’t typically fancy pan dulce, but the sweet breads at Pink Elephant are baked to perfection. It’s just the right amount of sweet and buttery. I’m definitely coming back!

The best Pan Dulce I’ve ever ate in my life besides the Fiesta Bakery in San Antonio, Texas! Fresh, soft, each pastry/cookie tastes different. Outstanding! Go get you some and do not ever go anywhere else!

Tree leches cake is amazing(and reasonably priced). People are super nice and helpful, and everything else looks and smells delicious. I’ve only had the tres leches(strawberry) because it’s so good but I want to try some of the other sweets soon!

Just went this morning and it was nice and clean, smelled great. Nice people and wasn’t too crowded. I love the puerquitos, their so soft and delicious and am glad they don’t have cinnamon the regular cuernitos are good The pink cuernitos are ok, I’ve had better The vanilla and chocolate conchas are ok, I’ve definitely had better. I like them to be soft but they are not and have those bubbles inside(I don’t like that) I wouldn’t mind coming back here getting different kinda and also the puerquitos and regular cuernos

HIGHLIGHTS: fresh pastries, cash only If you love yourself some fresh Mexican pastries as much as I do, make sure you get some cash and head over to Pink Elephant! I can’t tell you the actual names of the ones I particularly enjoy, but the pink and white twisted crescent moon-shaped breads covered in sugar are so good when dunked into a glass of milk. Or plain. Either way I’m still eaten them. Also, the triangular-shaped custard-filled pastries are amazing. The cookies with frosting and sprinkles on them are also good when held in said glass of milk for about 5 – 10 seconds. I was ogling the jelly desserts, but didn’t get a chance to try one. Next time!

I used to come here all the time as a kid with my mum, up until I moved to North San Jose. This was a nice little stop for us every Sunday after church. I recently came back here with my best friend, here is what I thought! First off, it is remodeled! Which makes me really happy! I like how this place I still simple, but looks presentable. Parking can be an issue with that tiny little lot sometimes, but it shouldn’t stop you! You go fight for parking! FIGHT!!! They have an extensive selectionof«Pan Dulce» to choose from! Several new things, and a lot of the old tyes of breads as well. I got some old fasioned ones like«El Purquito» or the Pig shaped bread, along with a slice of «Pastel de las tres leches» for my best friend and I to share, which was sooooo good! It was nice, soft and moist; the way it should be! Prices here have never been an issue, for good quality bread at an unbeatable price! Overall; Great homestyle quality goods, at an unbeatable price! If you are at all interested in getting authentic mexican bread, this is the place to go!

Being across from one of my favorite eateries, I had to try this place out. They make their baked goods daily and whenever I take a bite of whatever it is, it’s ALWAYS soft and scrumptious! I got over eight baked goods that were a decent size and it all cost five bucks, really good pricing! Came here on cinco de mayo and picked up a couple of stuff, unfortunately I don’t know what they are called exactly but I think one thing that I bought was called a conche… don’t quote me on that. This place accepts cash only and accept other forms of payment such as food stamps, which is kind of a hassle for those who only carry plastic. They also have all kinds of cute cupcakes with disney and sesame street designs. As for customer service, the ladies were very nice and helpful. Next time I go in, I will make sure to ask what it is I’m getting instead of just pointing and saying«I want this» and«I want that.»
