Worse«mexican» food than taco bell. I’d rather have jack-in-the box tacos with a side of pubic hair than this food. Corn tortilla tastes like rubber, nachos are from the dollar store, and the salsa is like Italian marinara with tabasco. Not even Ramsey could save this hellhole.

DRIVETHRURATING: 2nd time going through the drive thru. The first time I got the supreme burrito and my husband got the tacos. The tacos were okay, but he did not like them. My burrito was dry and lacking a huge amount of flavor. The second time going through, I got the tacos and he got the supreme quesadilla. The quesadilla had all of the ingredients spilling out and again, lacking flavor! We also got chips and salsa(Costco round chips which I don’t mind. But the salsa. Oh, the salsa! If you could call it that. Dull and spiced up with hot sauce. Not fresh or anything). My tacos? Tasted like a greasy rubbery tortilla with meat. Skimpy on the onions with a pinch of cilantro. Oh, and they also charge extra if you want some cilantro on the side. I will not be using the drive thru again. But hey, maybe the food is better when dining in?

Here Now in the restaurant by the drive way on 9÷18÷16 cashier Erika was totally wrong when took my order. She make me repeat many times my order for nothing. When I open my bag at home it was a wrong order. And apparently she repeated every single item I had inside the paper bag. Also the taste of the meat and salsas are not good at all; I thought I was eating Indian food with so much Cummins on the salsa and meat and wasn’t cook completely, I will never go back.

Had a burrito here. It was okay. Nothing memorable. It’s nice that they have a drive thru, but the food was ok. Nothing I would crave for in the future, but would probably buy again if I’m conveniently close by.

Ok, I have eaten here many times and have always had a great experience with great tasting food. Tonight, our food was cold, beans appeared to be from a can, and the meat was limited. There was hardly any carne asada in the burrito and it tasted as if had been sitting there for a while. Worse Mexican food ever, and I say this because the burrito and tacos were not the same as previous standard. If the owner is reading this review, I hope they take corrective action and look into the quality over quantity.

Hands down best tacos in town. Not only does Jalisco have the spiciest, but best salsa, they have the burritos and tacos to complement it. Whether you’re in need of a chorizo breakfast burrito of a El Pastor taco for those late night drunchies(they open late for drive thru!) they will leave you satisfied as ever.

I’d normally be disinclined to eat at a drive through Mexican spot as it seems the food would be rushed. However I was medicated with a few homies, and eye contact with a cashier/waitress/teenager was not ideal at the time. Tried some deep fried quesadilla thing. I can still recall the crunch of the tortilla *shudder* *gasp*. I can’t exactly remember the name. 4 stars for now until I eat here sober

Who doesn’t love a DRIVE-THRU? But the fact that Jalisco is a Mexican drive thru open late is a jack pot for me! This place is great because of the convenience! In terms of greatness? I’ve had better, but this place still satisfies my hunger and cravings! I rarely ever walk in to order, because. there’s a drive thru(haha or that’s just me being lazy!). My favorite meat selections that they offer here are al pastor w/pineapple and carne asada, they have the most flavor compared to the chicken. Usually i’ll order either tacos, a quesadilla, super nachos, or a burrito. I like them all, but it just depends on what I feel like eating that day! Make sure to ask for their hot sauce & lime, I don’t know why but these two are such a great combo together, and it makes your food taste so much better!

I have been coming here for 20 years. Every person I have ever taken here loves this place. Friends and Family that have moved away always want to come and eat hear when they visit. Service has always been good and fast. If the food wasn’t good I would not keep coming back!!! I get usually the Carnitas, Lengua, Pollo or the Carne Asada Burrito. I’ve also tried the tortas, tacos & love the horchata.

The go to Mexican drive thru place. Jalisco Taqueria never lets me down. I love the verde enchiladas and burritos. Ice cold ochata or regular coffee(in the mornings). They don’t sell chiliquelas anymore :(but their breakfast burritos are just as good. Drive thru is decent wait time. Place is always busy. Good food!

Those super burritos are the business. Authentic, quality, fresh ingredients, and the best mix/equal distribution. Truly a refreshing bite with some great avocado — I just want more!

This place is super popular, especially late at night. The midnight drive-through line is an indicator of good tacos.

My favorite taqueria in San Jose. The food is consistent, never too greasy. My girlfriend gets their ceviche tostada at least once a week. I’ve had the shrimp burrito, carne asada taco, and bean & cheese burrito. Everything is always satisfying. Plus theyre open till 3am on Fri & Sat!

Stopped by this spot because of a friend’s recommendation. Parking is definitely not the business during lunch hour on weekends since it’s hard to get in and out of the small lot. There wasn’t too many people inside and no line at the register though which was good. I got the al pastor and lengua… which are the two I definitely judge a good taco place by. The lengua had a nice chewy texture but could’ve used a stronger kick. I eat pretty light foods and this was just slightly bland for me. The al pastor, on the other hand, was definitely a lot more flavorful and had a little bit of heat going which I did like. Not sure the pineapple added much to it though… you’d think spicy and sweet would give you a good tangy flavor but my taste buds did some soul searching and was quite frankly disappointed. The tortillas were also a little too thick and weren’t crisped up enough so they kind of got sogged down from all the sauce and lime juice halfway through… Overall the tacos were decent… definitely far off from the tacos I’ve had in SD but good for downtown SJ. Prices are fair… if I remember correctly… around $ 1.85 each.

Fast and decent price for good Mexican food. I liked the menudo and pork burrito with pineapple. The cashier guy was friendly.

My co-workers and I wanted Taco Tuesday Taco’s and were deciding on where to go. One suggested this place, since he thought it was one of the best he had; he could not be more right! They were soo good. I ordered 4 tacos, 2 Asada and 2 Al Pastor. Both were juicy, crunchy and amazing — compared to the taco’s I’ve had at other places. Service: The servers and cashiers were extremely nice, took my order in the front and brought my food out to me to the table. Super friendly! Food: The tacos were bomb! juicy! full of flavor The Asada werent dry like many places, it was crispy YET juicy; how!!! The Pastor was crispy, and crunchy — perfect :). The crunchy-ness and crispy texture definitely gave it an edge.

Al Pastor tacos are quite the business here. I dig the nice crunchy sear they put on the al pastor. Their taco tortillas have excellent bite and texture, not sure if they’re made in house but it works. Need to come back and try more stuff here when in the area.

4STAR. My coworker has been raving about Jalisco’s for well over a year,(he’s been going for a couple years) and I finally went with him about a couple weeks ago to check out these epic carne asada tacos that he keeps talking about… and WOW, the carne asada tacos were AMAZING! We went around 12:45 on a weekday. It wasn’t too crowded when we got there — maybe we just beat the lunch traffic. When we went in, I absolutely knew that this was a taco joint. Every on in the restaurant was eating tacos. I decided to try some of the different meats on the tacos, which were only $ 1.65 each! I tried a carne asada, carnitas, and an al pastor taco. The best one was definitely the carne asada taco(5-star rating for sure). The meat was so tender and juicy, and they put their own green salsa on top which had a little bit of a kick, but it was soooo good. I wasn’t as big of a fan of the carnitas or al pastor taco(would rate these a 2.5 to 3 star). They tasted fine, but the meat wasn’t as tender as the carne asada, which is what they are known for. Anyway, after the devouring those 3 tacos in less than 10 minutes, I went back to the counter and ordered 2 more carne asada tacos. I just couldn’t get enough of them. I asked for extra lime on the side and went to town on them. I would say that the average person can easily eat 4 – 6 of these tacos in one sitting, no problem. That’s how good they are. They accept credit cards here so don’t worry about bringing cash. The staff is pretty friendly too. The only thing I am wary about is the location of Jalisco’s. It isn’t in the best part of town, and that’s why my coworker recommended we go for lunch, as opposed to dinner or a late night snack. Other than that, the experience was great. Will definitely be back to get more carne asada tacos from Jalisco’s for lunch!
