Rebellos Towing

The daily storage fee is ridiculously high 85 per day. They charged you additional 100 dollars if you pick up your car during weekend.

Chris is a super helpful tech at the office who helped me change the tire on my car which they had to tow from an accident scene (someone else’s crash tossed a bumper into my path). He and the rest of the staff were very accommodating.
It cost me $ 390 to reclaim my car which had been with them for 10 hours.

So they’re closed during the weekends, and just so happens the weekend of memorial day weekend, they tow my gfs car at 8:30am at a grocery store parking lot. They’re closed but there’s a handful or people working at the office and since they’re «closed» they get to charge you an additional $ 100.
No one issued the tow, but they like to make their rounds to tow cars.

I give credit where credit is due and a good review is due Rebello’s. I drained my battery two week’s ago and not only was Rebello’s quick but Ken, the tech. they sent was super sweet. Giving service is NOT easy in this era of «I want it and I want it now and the way I want it. » I want Rebello’s to know their guy gave great service in spades! Thank you, Ken, for being such a gentleman and getting us on our way. Bravo, Rebello’s for hiring a great guy.

These guys are really assholes. Pretty much the same as everyone here. They came to my apartment, towed my car out of my own parking spot just because i forgot to display my parking permit in the middle of the night. $ 390 was the damage lol

Is there any negative stars?
By law sec 22 658 they are suppose to give you the General authorization Contract with the Property Management and the photo of your vehicle and they are refusing to release it according to Vicky Romero:

«The tow that you are referring to falls under a specific authorization to tow and not a General Authorization Contract. The vehicle code requires that the information on the authorized signer be redacted and you are not entitled to this information.
The Contract that Rebello’s has with Monte Vista Community is also not available, as it is a contact between the Community and Rebello’s Towing.»
I talked to Pablo and Pablo would release it for me if I pay him $ 60

I’ll be suing both the HOA Monte Vista community and the Rebellos for not giving towing warnings and breaking the law by not providing documents that I will need in court!

This is the worst towing company. They don’t even follow their procedures right. You can tell they’re just about money. Use any other towing company. BTW Unilocal is too nice NO stars for this place.

Warning this Towing company «Rebellos» will damage your vehicles by towing them without a dolly all 4wd need to be pick up by Dolly they will not be responsible for any damages. Easy money they will town with permission. .
Also they are stealing from vehicles be careful.. they will make a list from whatever is inside vehicle «except for what they are stealing.

This towing company is a set up. I can’t believe after explaining why I shouldnt have to pay anything when I have a placard to prove I was disabled, they didn’t have any sympathy to hear me out! All about money huh? Private property tow not to mention. It should have been a warning especially it being a private property, overall this is b.s.

People have every reason to be upset about getting their car towed. The way you are treated when you arrive to pick up your car is even worse. They basically laugh in your face and refuse to help you. I asked to speak to Mike and the man at the desk told me no? Like how can you tell me no? I’ll let karma handle these guys and let my pretty face relax.

Rip off Legal Theft! Those lifeless scumbags towed my car right from my apartment which I have left for 15 mins to pack and get my stuff out as I had planned to drive out of city for a while… As if the towing wasn’t bad enough and for me to pay $ 300 to get my car back on top of that they totally damaged it and refuse to take responsibility… Only thing I could do was file a claim… To which I’m sure they are not even going to go through … But I’m going to make them PAY!!! I don’t care what it takes… This place needs to go out of business… It’s a piece of shit run by fucking assholes who hate their lives too much and decided to earn happiness by messing with innocent people … You wanna make a difference? Go fucking fight crimes you low lives piece of dirtbag assholes!

If you have Robello’s as your tow company, you’re getting ripped off! I’ve stood on my apartment balcony and watched a Robello’s tow truck drive AROUND a double parked car and leave. They also don’t tow vehicles parked in a fire lane, or illegally parked cars in handicap spots. And I’ve seen them drop a car for no payment once it’s hooked up. The drivers who respond to calls take FOREVER! I absolutely HATE that our apartment complex uses this company just because it saved them a couple thousand dollars to contact the cheap guys who do nothing. Parking in other ppl’s spots, illegal handicap parking and blocking the fire lane will continue to be a problem in our San Jose complex because Robello’s is TOO LAZY TO BE A DECENT TOW COMPANY. Next time they’re here (which is rarely) I’ll be sure to post a video of them driving around a double parked car (like they did 5mins ago) or ignoring a car parked in the fire lane.
A word to the wise: make your tenants happy by contracting a real tow company.

After getting my car towed by a draconian HOA, I was thrilled to be able to pay to get my car out of impound at Rebellos first thing in the morning. It was a pleasure to see their nice smiling faces so early. They greeted me with the most pleasant «hello’s» and «how are you’s», it was as if they were my new best friends! After kindly granting them access to my credit cards, they had my car pulled around in no time. It was so nice and clean and cared for, it was almost as if they had detailed it for me after they towed it! So, if your looking to get your car towed, I couldn’t recommend Rebellos any higher! Two thumbs up! Woohoo!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I get it, the job sucks and no one that comes through the door is happy about the situation, but the subjectivity Rebello’s uses at this location to waive fees for permitted cars is quite despicable. The manager, «Marcus» is callous and malicious, choosing when to enforce the rules as he sees fit. It is no wonder they barely have 2 stars…

Absolute extortion artists. My car was parked right outside my apartment (not blocking any parking spaces, any garages, anything) for 10 minutes while I was upstairs getting ready to haul a ~150 lb piece of equipment to the car, and when we got there the car was gone. Rebellos has a contract with many apartment complexes that allows them to troll for cars which are illegally parked, take them as they see fit, and extort the owner for $ 400.
They are providing NO public service, and they are not protecting or helping anyone. It’s a complete con, and I’m almost sad for them for what these highway robbers will come back as in their next lives.
Need a legitimate tow? Call someone else. These guys do NOT deserve your business, and they’re already sitting on a mountain of money they’ve stolen from innocent people who parked near the elevator for 10 minutes to load their car.
DO NOT GIVE THESE THIEVES YOUR BUSINESS.

This company is incredibly fucked up. They towed my friend’s Corolla on Thanksgiving. Are you kidding me? We live in a small condominium complex with one management parking spot. She parked there at 10pm because there was no street parking at all. Her dad and sister were coming up for the holiday from Southern California (a six hour drive) and we were planning to move the car in the morning. Unfortunately these money-​hungry whores jumped on the opportunity to make a dollar and fucked up our entire day. FUCK YOU REBELLOS!!!

At first, I was confused why my car wasn’t in the parking lot of my apartment complex where I’ve been living for over a month. I panicked because:
a) it was stolen
b) it was towed
Out of those choices, I was hoping for the latter. I went to the leasing office and see if was towed. I was given the phone number and called them and asked if my car was there. I sighed with relief that it wasn’t stolen but was just towed.
The price for towing is ridiculous. Had to pay $ 290 to get my car out. If you read the rest of these reviews, they’re right. This whole place is a scam. I would love to start my own towing company and tow their tow trucks and have them pay for it to get it out.

If you have to get your car towed then it might as well be from Rebellos?
Not sure what else to write about that. I can either be pissed off at the towing company or my damn apartment complex for being the ones to tow my car (unneedingly)… most people get angry at the tow employees but really, they’re just doing their jobs. Rebellos– although it sucks to have to deal with them, they’ve been pretty decent in the customer service department.
There is usually a wait but they do take time with you to take your money and make sure you sign all the documents to break your car out of jail.
