I agree with the other reviewers. There is a certain taste and texture that seems artificial about it. Should have checked the ingredients list beforehand.

Red Ribbon Bakeshop has most of it’s baked goods wrapped in plastic, probably made in City of Industry where the head office is. eats: Butter Mamon(Butter sponge cake, 1.35) –nice buttery taste followed by chemical aftertaste lots of additives listed… crumbs: –fast service…

Noelle’s Unilocal Notebook 2014 Came here to Red Ribbon Bakery approximately 12 days ago. It was mid-morning and not crowded at all. I came here with my 18 month old son and grandmother. I picked up one package of macaroons, 2 butter mamon, 2 ube mamon and inquired with the clerk behind the counter if they had any mocha mamon. The clerk Susan found the mocha mamon and proceeded to ring me up. I noticed she charged me for 2 packages of macaroons. When I brought this error to her attention she said that she couldn’t void it from my transaction without manager approval. I asked when the manager would arrive and she replied at 3 p.m. — mind you it was 10 a.m. –Susan asked me if I would be paying with cash or credit. –She told me to just pay for the item I didn’t want and she’ll give my money back. –I told Susan why don’t you just charge me for the items I’m purchasing? This whole exchange of her trying to coerce me to over pay lasted well over 5 minutes. She was saying that her computer would be stuck until the manager gets in, so could I please give her any money even if I’m being charged incorrectly. I didn’t trust her so I walked away. Minutes later, I’m putting my son into our van only go see a guy leave the bakery with a couple of bags of baked goods. So it’s obvious Susan lied, she was able to conduct another transaction. Susan is SHADY. I will not patronize this Red Ribbon Bakery location. Be warned and always check your receipts! Noelle’s Notes Skip it! Susan is SHADY!!!

Lately been craving Filipino food and desserts. I passed by Red Ribbon Bakery many times so thought I would give it a try. The chicken pastry was excellent. It has chicken, raisin, and I think vegetables? inside. The mango and ube cake was horrible. It was bland, stale, and not tasty at all. I don’t know why it’s so popular. The pan de sal is okay. The other bakeries has way tastier pan de sal. Overall, go here for the chicken pastries. One star for customer service, one star for chicken pastry, and one star for taking debit card.

It’s back! It’s great to have Red Ribbon back. They’re coconut macaroons are to die for and who doesn’t mind strolling right into Jolibee for a halo halo to put it back with. Better location, nice atmosphere, and just what we needed to indulge our Pilipino sweet tooth’s!
