I really wanted to like this place but it wasn’t what I expected. You can find better fried chicken other places.

After hearing good things about the fried chicken at this place, I did a take out for 6 pieces of chicken, which came wiith a cup of brown gravy. After upgrading 3 thigh pieces for breasts, the total for the order came out to about $ 18. The breast pieces were tiny. The chicken was freshly fried and was good but not really that special. If I’m paying $ 18 for 6 pieces of fried chicken(3 breasts and 3 drumsticks) at a fast food place, they had better be more than just decent.

I go to Jollibee when I miss the taste of Filipino spaghetti. There’s nothing better than Filipino spaghetti and it tastes just as good as homemade spag. It tastes just like how it does back in the Philippines. I love their breakfast silogs– tocilog, longsilog, corned beef, tapsilog. As mentioned, i like the spaghetti. My parents love their palabok and chicken joy. The tables could get cleaned a lot better, but the staff is always so respectful, which I love about my Filipino culture.

Their«chicken joy» is very goooood but, pricey! 6 pieces of fried chicken is $ 12.99 + tax? while, in gmall is $ 6.99? WTF? Oh well, I’d still buy ‘em b/c they’re that good! In terms of customer service, ehhh they’re alright! Although, I gotta admit that they need to stop gossiping while in front of the customer(s). Its rude & unprofessional! All in all, its an «OK» customer service yet, satisfying food! I’d give them 3⁄5 stars just because there are things that needs to be done & fixed(i.e. food price, practice of good customer service & more seats lol)

If I can give them 0 stars, I would. This store is RACIST and wanted to deny service to my(white) husband who wanted to buy spaghetti for me(who’s filipina)!! So here’s what happened… We just found out I’m pregnant couple weeks ago and I’ve been craving Jollibee spaghetti since last night. Since they were closed, my husband waited til this morning to go there and get them for me. He comes in, and tried to order spaghetti. Cashier yells«WEDONTSELLYOURKIND’S SPAGHETTIHERE!» My husband brushed it off and assumed they just meant that the spaghetti may not be ready, since they just opened, so he suggested that he’s willing to wait. But again, he got yelled at by now 2 cashiers. Both of which were saying the same thing«WEDONTSELLYOURKIND’S SPAGHETTIHERE!» At this point, he’s done with the racist comment and explained, «Look, I understand your spaghetti is different. It’s sweet and it’s not for me. It’s for my filipino wife. So do you have spaghetti or not?!» And as soon as they heard that, they got his order and he waited. 20 minutes later, he noticed that customers who were there AFTER him were getting their orders given to them first. spaghettis were out left and right but his order was never called. He inquired at the staff member and they acted like they didnt know what he was talking about. 10 more minutes of waiting, they practically threw out the bag of spaghetti to him. No acknowledgement, no apologies. BADCUSTOMERSERVICEAND A BUNCHOFRACISTDIPSH**S! THISISNOTHOWFILIPINOSSHOULDBEREPRESENTED.

I absolutely LOVE chicken especially if it’s fried! And the chicken joy is definitely one of my go to when I’m craving fried chicken. However, the Jollibee and this location is sadly a disaster. First of all, I don’t think they understand English. I understand it’s a Filipino fast food joint, but I think asking for mild/NON spicy chicken is pretty easy to understand. This is the 3rd time that this shit has happened when I asked for MILDNONSPICY chicken and they give me spicy AF chicken. I mean I do hand signals and say NONSPICY, but I guess that don’t work. Can someone just tell me what non spicy in Tagalog means so I can say it?! I never have this problem when I go to the Jollibee at great mall or the one close to SF. For now I’ll stick to other Jollibee’s because my mouth was seriously on fire after I took a bite! Other items: Gravy — Always on point Mash potatoes — Basic Fries — Stale AF Will I go back to this Jollibee? No. Unless I learn how to stay non spicy and fresh fries in Tagalog. But will I still eat Jollibee? F*ck yes!

This place is right by my house and one of my favorite places to go to when I’m feening for Jollibee. I don’t know how and who made the chicken joy recipe. I’ve been eating this chicken ever since I was little. It sucks that the breakfast ends at 11.

Spicy chicken is the truth! Very spicy and moist on the inside. But they never have it. I call them to see if they have it but they never answer their phone so I have to go all the way over there every time to find out they are out of it once again. So I have to settle for something else. Sometimes the food tastes funny and a tad undercooked. It’s hard to describe the taste, like old dirty water. Their gravy gave me the runs on a few occasions so I don’t eat the chicken gravy anymore. But it might just be my stomach. The only thing that ide recommend from here is the spicy chicken. But they just raised the prices like 25% which I am sad about. Probably to pay for their new drive thru menu sign.

To be honest, I felt that the spaghetti sauce had a sweet taste to it. Other than that, the cashier was nice and I enjoyed the chicken and the mashed potatoes.

I was in the area and wanted Filipino food. I ordered the palabok and chicken combo N4. The Palabok noodles were thin and clumpy — they use sotanghon noodles. Portions were small. The sauce was a bit too salty. You get one small box of palabok, 1 chicken leg, and a cup of salty gravy for $ 8. Oh and one small packet of lemon juice, as if it weren’t salty enough. I thought it was overpriced. Took a while to get my food and there weren’t enough places to sit. The bakery next door didn’t have much, I was looking for polvoron and they didn’t have any. I guess I have to go to Goldilocks. Overall, not a good value just go to KFC!!!

CRISPYLICIOUSMHMM am I lame for starting a review with their own ad slogan thing? Oh well cause that’s the word that comes into mind when you take a bite out of their chicken. Such juicy, much goodness. Definitely prefer Filipino fried chicken from here over KFC or anywhere else. They’re batter is not as thick, lighter, & tastier than other places. I also like that you have the option to make them spicy(it’s not on the menu, but I swear you can do it… they even come with little flags saying, «spicy!» FILIPINOSPAGHETTI. This place has the best Filipino spaghetti and if you have not had it before, basically it’s spaghetti WITHCHEESEONIT and it’s slightly sweeter than normal spaghetti… After you’ve had it, you’ll probably always want cheese on your spaghetti. And I ain’t talking Parmesan, I mean like CHEESYYYYYYCHEESE. PALABOK(pa-laa-book) is a Filipino dish of thin clear SHRIMP flavored noodles. Very, very, shrimpy. It’s then topped with fried garlic, green onions, hard boiled eggs, and chicharon(pork grinds). It tastes best with lemon squeezed on top as well. Halo halo(hollow-hollow) is a Filipino dessert that’s like a cross between shaved ice and the Vietnamese dessert che. It’s basically shaved ice with mung beans, jellies, jello, and fruits. I like the halo halo here because they top it with ube ice cream and leche flan!!! YUMM. Anyway, they have other Filipino foods and mango peach turnover pies(also super goooooood and crisp and delicious), etc. You can order just a plate if you’re coming by for lunch or you can order family size packs if you’re picking up dinner. Do not expect super crazy great service, it’s more of like a fast food fast pace kind of thing and 97% of the workers are Filipino so I can understand how sometimes it can be frustrating trying to understand/communicate between workers and customers.

Let me start off by saying The employees here are hella racist! Every time I come, they come off as rude and distant until I speak Tagalog, then all of a sudden they are friendly… The food is not that good, and definitely isn’t authentic. It’s almost like saying taco bell is authentic Mexican food… if my grandma found out I ate here, she’d probably disown me… lol The last time I was here, this catty employee with major attitude was talking Crap to another girl(in Tagalog) about my daughter. She said«look at that little girl, she looks like an ‘ASWANG’» which is a made up «monster» or vampire like creature in the Philippines(think«chupacabra» or, «bigfoot») We had just come from raging waters, so my daughter had«swimming hair» but really?! Aswang?! Just because I don’t LOOK Filipino doesn’t mean you should talk bad about customers right in front of their faces! EFFYOUJOLLIBEE

Jollibee is pricey Filipino fast food. menu misleading except to regulars. eats: 2 pieces chicken w/side(6.99) –just picture of pepsi shown, not listed. declined soft drink so $ 1 taken off. –crispy skin which i skipped, chicken meat tender but not tasty. flavoring probably in the skin –mashed potato tasty, guessing potato and gravy from powder above average. take outs: –got electronic buzzer to remind me when food ready –only a few tables available for eat-in. –service friendly and helpful. …

Let’s get this straight… FOOD is 5STARS… but as my aunt says, «THESERVICEHERESTINKS!!!» Normally, service is usually bad but we came for a Saturday lunch and the service was so bad that we probably won’t be returning to this location. The day we came, there was a long line with only one register open and a group of 3 young workers standing in the corner talking amongst themselves. Food was piled up, ready to be given to the customers yet, nothing was being done. It seemed that only one person was working. Its really annoying when you’re hungry and you have kids with you that are crying for their food. Even when we got our food we had to wait just for that one worker to get our pineapple juice… took another ten minutes. Seriously, is there even a system here — this is supposed to be FASTFOOD! I just can’t figure out how orders are being given. Several customers received their food before we did… even the bigger orders. Wait time is ridiculous! And, we all know that Jollibee is Filipino based, but do you really have to speak in Tagalog to each person? Don’t assume we all speak the language even if we look Filipino. I’ve been to Jollibee in the Philippines and even the workers there greet you in English. Honestly, the younger workers need more training and the older workers need to work faster… hoping this changes soon since this is the closest Jollibee to us and we STILL have to drive almost an hour to get here!

This location is consistent with others. Ordering is quick. Food is fine. Most things are typical for fast food while other items are unusual in America, which makes it interesting. Everything came quickly except the mashed potato. Every employee is amazingly nice, polite, patient and just great to interact with. I went with three coworkers and they enjoyed the visit and really enjoyed the bakery.

Jollibee is now joined by Red Ribbon– which is only so fitting that they would be next to each other! Also Jollibee has been newly remodeled and oh-so-modern, but is the food still masarap? I always get my favorite combo here: N2 Spaghetti with Chickenjoy UPGRADE my drink for a Buko Pandan Cooler & a Banana Langka Pie Sweet, savory, cheesy and topped with hot dog sauces cover spaghetti and paired with a perfectly deep fried chicken piece. The chicken is fried so differently from any other place, it almost tastes like chicharon(pork rinds) and tastes great dipped in the gravy. The Buko Pandan Cooler is always refreshing, tastes like coconut and vanilla– yum! And the Banana Langka Pie is sweet, tropical and crisp on the outside. Think McDonald’s Apple Pie but for Asians! Also got to sample some of Red Ribbon’s Ube Overload cake which was light, fluffy and not too sweet. Pretty steep pricing for fast-food, but the food and service remains to worth the occasional visit. The only cons are that the tables are usually dirty with crumbs since you empty your tray on your own, but at least the seats are cushioned and spacious now.

Noelle’s Unilocal Notebook 2014 — - — - — - — - — - — - - quick details — - — - — - — - — - — - - cuisine: filipino fast food good eats: yes kid friendly: definitely price: good and economical I’ve only dined at two Jollibee locations– one in Manila and this location on Tully Road in San Jose, California. Jollibee is famous for their fried chicken and spaghetti(which has a sweet taste, definitely not your run of the mill Italian version). They have locations in the Philippines, United States, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Brunei. The fried chicken is fresh and fried to perfection– not too greasy(which is a good thing). The gravy they serve on the side with the chicken is delicious. I purchased a bucket to go(because I didn’t feel like cooking dinner in this hot weather). I paid $ 1 extra per piece for white meat. Customer service is friendly(excellent customer service by Journey and Brandon). The dining room has limited seating but it was stroller friendly. The employees were always cleaning tables as customers finished dining. If you’re looking for Filipino Fast food and love fried chicken then Jollibee is the place to go :) Happy Eating! — - — - — - — - — - — - - noelle’s notes — - — - — - — - — - — - - They make delish breakfast silogs!
